Now i understand the cache name. Ouch!!! wasn't heard finding this cache.
after voting i came up to find a few caches in victor harbour. After doing some multi's on route and quite a few detours getting here, i only got as close as the two nearby trails before heading home ( with a few more detours ) in the dark. quick find.

Today we headed to Victor Harbor to cache. We were fortunate in that the area had been pruned about a month ago making searching much easier. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks spuddymoore for the cache.
Managed to retrieve it without going Ouch!
Thanks for the cache mogni.

#11701. Day 8 of our SA holiday. Robmc and I are taking a rest after our 30km bike ride yesterday. Back into the geo-chariot we went and gathered up a range of caches and more DNF's on our journey. We did the AFL series and a few more before lunch and after lunch we gathered up a few around Middleton and more on the way back to VH. Oh dear, there are so many caches around here that need so much maintenance and TLC.
We found this one out in the open on approach. It hadn't been found since August and the lid was covered with dried mud. I have to assume with all the violent weather that South Australia has experienced lately, that it was washed out of its hiding place to rest on the embankment. Re-hidden now.
Thanks spuddymoore,

Day Eight of our holiday, BettyBoo3747 and I cruised around the Victor Harbor area collecting (or not) caches at random. We started with the AFL series then back for lunch, then out to Middleton and back.
Spotted the SteamRanger, but there was no steam today.
Roses as far as the eye can see! (more spiky plants!). But they did look good until you remember you need to look for a cache here!
Luckily, the cache was out in the open (it isn't now!)
Thanks, Robmc.

Thanks for the hide.
I was dreading fighting the roses but that didn't happen.

Owl decided that if it was in there she wasn't going to do it. Fortunately it wasn't and she did.
Out for the day with Cows with guns picking up a few down south that needed to be found.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Heading down south with Debandy taking the caching rout which as we all know is the most time consuming and inefficient way to go anywhere .Travel one km turn down side road for 500mtrs, back to road travel two km's stop at park and head out on foot into the bush for 150mtrs, back to car head down road for 6 kys stop at bridge and climb under it. Many cache were found and many kilometers were traveled to actually go not very far at all.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Found this one while having based our caravan at the Adare Caravan Park at McCracken near Victor Harbor. A lovely area to cache in. We particularly enjoyed the sea views and its great to see that Spuddymore has been busy since we were here last giving us the chance to get lots of smileys Thanks to spuddymoore for placing this cache.
A quick find. Love the street names around here. Very appropriate considering the location. Thanks, a kinder hide than it could have been.
Today we make our way back to Victor and after the last 2 failed attempts today we actually make it all the way grabbing quite a few caches along the way, weather was great for us today and still have many more still to find down this way, a nice quick find for us today. TFTC
ANZAC Day Caching on my bike.
The name of the cache had me start to look in the 'obvious' spots.
Luckily I read some previous logs before it got nasty.

We were on our sojourn to South Australia for the Oz Mega event and after spending the night at a nearby cache just outside of Victor Harbour it was time to explore a little more of the area. We had an early start to the morning and were able to quickly locate the cache without too much trouble. Thank you for having placed the cache spuddymoore
Out caching with JJ52, a great day where I clocked up 56 caches, now my record for most caches in a day!
Thanks JJ52 and TFTC
Thanks JJ52 and TFTC
Decided to have a day caching at and around Victor Harbor so Ismartis and I headed down in the morning with a list of caches that we hoped to get. After a great day we ended up with 55 smileys and 3 DNF's with Ismartis grabbing an extra one on the way home. [^] [^]
Luckily this one was not in a place that the name suggested. A reasonably easy find after ruling out the ouch spots. [:o)]
Thanks for the cache spuddymoore.

I was lucky enough to get a phone call to see if I wanted to head out for the day with a wonderful group of people to locus cache some smileys.....so what could I say to that offer but YES!! [^]
I picked up Honeysucker who gracefully allowed himself to be a passenger in Harry and deal with my driving and off we went to meet Mogni of the fantastic giggle, Aussie M&M of the kind heart, great hugs and tall stature and Brisal5 of the split pants.
By the time Honeysucker and I left the others to head home, I had 38 smileys and 4 DNFs but the laughter and fun the group shared all day far outweighed those few missed smileys!
Oh it is so cool to have clever cachers with you who can find what has previously been unfindable
Especially when it is a painless find and no OUCH was involved!

A weekend in Adelaide for work... so a caching adventure was needed. Thankyou to Aussie M & M and Brisal5 for planning a fun day. Thanks to honeysucker and locus cache for joining in the fun.
Another great cache.
Thanks
Another great cache.

A recent trip to Victor alerted us to just how many caches there are down there, so a trip was planned for mogni, brisal5 and the Aussies. It was a magnificent 16hrs of sunshine (until sunset), laughter and adventure and at the end of the day we had around 80 finds, 2 FTFs and a handful of DNFs. For most of the day we had Locus and Honeysucker in tow, who added more fun and laughter to a great day out.
Whilst all the clever people concentrated on the obvious plants that would be associated with the cache name, a less clever Mr M looked elsewhere and soon had the cache in hand. Locus was happy as this had been a previous DNF for her. TFTC spuddymoore.

Mogni was back in town for the weekend so a GOTHS escapade to Victor was Planned. I was lucky enough to score a seat in the Gothmobile with both Aussie M & Ms and mogni. We were soon to be joined by Honeysucker and Locus Cache in Harry.
Damn title of the cache fooled me. Whilst I carefully moved the stems of the rose bush and made a few ouch noises! Mr M. made the find elsewhere. Thanks for another one spuddymoore...and the rose thorns.

Very confused by this one. Had no idea what the "ouch" refers to, and it's not a sistema but a nano?
The log is also complete mush! Couldn't even extract it, so signed on the underside of the upper part of the cute container.

Despite the description, this is not a sistema, and it is a nano. However, the log is mush - and we had to do forensics to convince ourselves that we actually did have the cache,
MOneydork spotted this one while Skippy and I looked on he retrieved it and signed. Thanks spuddymoore.
What ouch , I picked up the cache and placed it back , how stupid was I ! Don't answer that please anyway Moneydork picked it up and signed the wet muddy log book

After my tennis windup I (Mr d&mpearce) decided to find the only caches in victor harbor we haven't found yet. For being the super coach I was given a tub of m&m's so in replacement of Mrs d&mpearce me and the tub of m&m's decided to go for a hunt. I ended up with 6 finds and a big smile on my face
Our second go at this one and found straight away! I would live here if I was a fairy TFTC

Found with Sully1 on our way to Victor Harbour for a couple of more days in this cache rich state.
This was a terrific trip with great weather and friendly welcoming cachers to meet and greet.
A huge variety of hides had us on our toes, and a huge thanks to all the local cachers who provided the fun for us. Thanks again spuddymoore, we did a lot of your hides today

Worth a favourite point

Found with bogonghazy after Semiks Birthday Event at Normanville and heading to Victor Harbour on the way home. Thanks to spuddymoore for the cache.
First cache after being in hospital for a week. Great to be back caching. Easy find thanks spuddymoore
This was another case of a full on day caching!
I was out with the boys: firesafe, CP Wanderer and Honeysucker and had the luxury of driving a Prado with free diesel for the day, thanks to a friend of mine [^]
Somehow, though, Prado got interpreted as Tarago by our usually extremely competent navigator and so we mainly did urban caches rather than rural ones where the vehicle's potential could have been more full utilised but it was still a hugely fun day and all up I attempted to locus cache at 95 caches: 89 successfully and 6 DNFs
Thank you, gentlemen, for the company and laughs and huge congratulations to firesafe on his 10,000th cache [^] [^] .....which just happened to require a 23km fast run from Aldinga to Mt Compass for the FTF (and our 2nd FTF for the day [^] ). Belated congratulations to Honeysucker, too, for his 6,000th find [^]
No find for us tonight, despite leather gauntlets to take away the Ouches!

Did not find this one, but did find a very suspect looking piece of fungi, Hmmmm...we wonder.
Ouch alright! Didn't find this one.. BUT did find an inviting rose bush and some cute little ants.. Ow ow ow! next time..
Had a go at this one but after a number of spikes and no suitable geo sticks in reach I decided this is not my type of cache!!!! :-0
A quick find while out and about caching with Josie and Mr. Allchin. Yay, finally we got this one. Though it still took some searching, sometimes you just cant get past an idea in your head that puts you right off the scent of a very easy cache. Oh, well it's a smiley now
