Logging with CO permission, after confirming the hide has been scuppered by construction.
Having passed here to hunt for this cache a couple of times already, we returned once again for another look (despite the recent construction- see pic). 30 mins of searching gave us no joy so we contacted the CO who sadly confirmed our suspicions.
Thanks LPUD for the adventure regardless. We will be back another time when the cache is restored.

Disabling the cache until the ongoing construction finishes.
Thanks PantsPeople for the heads up.
Thanks PantsPeople for the heads up.
Given the extensive construction work that appears to have occurred at GZ, we are sceptical of this hide still being in place. If the CO could check on it that would be great.
It appears this cache may have been scuppered by construction/roadworks … a welfare check on it would be great.
On arrival a muggle was walking an old dog through the underpass. It took ages watching them taking a step then stopping and pausing so many times.
Finally had the chance to make a proper search.
Co-ords spot on for me so made find fairly quickly.
Nice little hide. Perfect spot.
Thanks for the fun cache.

Decided to have a look for this cache this morning as it helped with my hidden date calendar.
Parked in a nearby Place and walked through to the zone. Checked a couple of spots before looking back at what was my more initial instinct. Soon after had CIH and stamped. Thanks LPUD for placing and maintaining this nicely hidden cache.

Super tired today so caught a ride to get a cache nearby. A nice fast find today which was exactly what I needed! Thanks for the cache.
Took A bit of searching but between sophiescout and myself we quickly narrowed down where and how it was hidden, walked straight past it a few times. TFTC
I tried this one some time ago without any luck and so today when I needed one more cache for my calendar I decided to come out and try again. A good friend had found it since we both tried last time and had given me the good oil on where it could be found. A nasty tricky hide. TFTC LPUD SL
TFTC This was a very tricky hide, and perhaps not exactly legal either. I had to PAF for this one and the cache was in hand in seconds. Log signed and camo replaced. Great day for caching today, thanks to the CO for placing and maintaining this cache.
That was interesting. Nice hide.
I wasn't hopeful reading the other logs, but it didn't take that long to find it.
Is this the only cache in Mckellar???
The caches was a bit damp and there is no sun today to dry it out. I cleaned it up little on the outside to be able to close it properly and that removed about 6 cache guardians, sorry.
TFTC with a great theme.

Stopped off here tonight to have another look as I couldn't find it the other day and ran out of time.

This took way too long (at least an hour) definitely shouldn’t have! I swear we checked in that spot about 10 times
Had to think about this one for a while!!! Hmmmm, where would a sneaky cache be hiding if it hadn't been found in 6 months? I'll give you a hint....it's not in all the spiderwebs I'm now covered in! ️ TFTC!
Tried this first and could not find. Went to try the other nearby caches. Came back and tried again and yippie found it! Was tricky though.
Found with legocacher79, yengah and sapien

Found with Eldritch, Yengah and Sapien. Initially we couldn't find this,
so skipped it and found the others towards the lake. And returning back we searched again and finally found it. Nice hide! And a favorite point from me.

Finally got around to swapping out the container for a Fresh one and new log book.
Cache on
BTW - Will be checking the old log book, to make sure the log book and online entries match.
I will be deleting any mismatches.

Lpud and I enjoyed being out on the MTB's today. Something we haven't done in awhile. Lpud, formerly jess 'n jas wanted to update the container on this one, so he hung back while I located it. I think he was a little disappointed that I found it so quickly but I was impressed with the hide, none-theless. Very clever hide get a fav from me <3
Lots of cyclists, mums and bubs plus doggies but found a quiet moment to retrieve the excellently hidden cache, sign the log, add a treasure and replace - even better than before. A Fave from me - thanku
Lovely day to be walking by Lake Ginninderra, quite a few cyclists to contend with. Took us a while, but eventually Silvereyes saw something out of the ordinary, and cache soon in hand.
Day 12: Clear Waters Mega Trip
Today is an event in the morning, more suburb collecting for the mapping challenge an event in the evening and picking up other desired odds and sods.
Thanks jess'n'jas for being part of my Clear Waters adventure.

Another day around Canberra suburbs. A variety of interesting caches were found. Quickly spotted. TFTC!
Took us a few minutes. Nobody around but us, until we were leaving and then a cyclist zoomed past very fast.
Visiting Canberra for a soccer tournament at UC. with @andthentherewas3 & geodog TFTC
Quick find and both a suburb and one needed for the day. Cache is still pretty wet. Emptied out the water. TFTC
Great hide, needed my caching eyes for this in the half light on the way to indoor soccer. TFTC!
Found with epzccc131 and palm23011975. Took a lot longer to find than it should have due to natural camo. Eventually found, tftc
Took longer than it should due to GPS sending us everywhere. TFTC.

This is my second visit here and once again my gps is bouncing from the tree line to the other side of the bridge. Did you know that there's a computer keyboard tied up in the tunnel. After walking the other side of the road and using paces not GPS to measure distance I sat down and there it was. Nicely hidden. All good with the cache. Tftc
Quick maintenance run.
Added a larger log and cleaned and dried the inside of the container.
**Please replace the available camo as required, to help continue this slightly sneaky hide**
Cache on good people!!

Tftc. A not so quick find with the GPS jumping around but got the smiley. Didn’t have any swaps for the cache tonight.
Awsome how it blened in. Great hide.
Log book was so wet it was not possible to sign without destroying it so placed a new waterproof page and zip lock bags for the CO.
TFTC!

We wanted to try Dinos new bike today and so a little ride and cache tour around the area was in order.
A quick find with this one today, well Wilma found it quickly while Dino and I were looking other places. We emptied the water out of the container but still all wet and log unsignable, see foto. Didn't cary any spares. Thanks for the Cache jess'n'jas.

An easy find but had to pretend to tie a shoelace when a cyclist appeared while I was signing the log. Replaced as found with appropriate camouflage.
With new tubes in the bike tyres after the thorn incident during last weekend's geocaching, it was time for another geocaching ride. Despite the heat it was a lot of fun, checking out some little bits of the area I have long wanted to visit.
Well, this took a while! I knew what I was looking for, but it still took a search over quite a wide area (despite the GPS proving to be quite accurate). Not helped by the frequent muggle activity. But eventually the telltale signs came into view and the cache was revealed. Nice one! A bit damp inside, as has been frequently noted, but serviceable. TFTC

Found this on a lunchtime jaunt up to Belco to pick up my new work phone, my old one having made the ultimate sacrifice last week end when I was caught in a thunderstorm whilst paddling on Lake Tuggeranong. This was the third of the day.
It took me a little while to uncover this one, the GPS originally had me pointed off to the other side of William Slim Dr. Once I knew roughly where it was the hide became suddenly obvious, and sure enough there it was, protected by a fierce cache guardian with 100 legs. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, favourite from me

This one's been on my to-do for a while. I've always had a cursory look as I rode through. But I decided to stop and have a better look this time
Fortunately, it wasn't too long before I noticed something amiss, and a movement and the cache was exposed.
Signed and onwards with my ride. TFTC JNJ!

We found it after a long look and then found it obvious in hindsight. We swapped our things for a shiny dolphin and a ring
Visiting family in Canberra and it is my K9 mates birthday, so we went out hunting for some caches together. We had a good day and this was one we found. It took quite some time find it. Clever hide. tftc.
Fun find after a trip to the mall. Miss 4 loved all the goodies inside this cache. Thanks
Found 13:01 22/5/17 on a lovely autumn day on my lunch break. Thank you LPUD for the cache.
I got the surprise as a cyclist came flying around the corner as I retrieved the cache! New pages added for the log. Container wet, but log dry in its bag. TFTC Liverpudlin
Suscoe took a quick trip out here this morning.
Another interesting day, cloudy and a breeze to start with but that soon changed to bright sunshine and the warmth soon got back into the air.
Another area we have never been to caching.
Thanks to Liverpudlin for this hide, a quick find.

I have put off finding these caches along this path for ages, because I wanted to bring the bike and ride between the caches. Finally today I made it here with my bike and despite the hot day had a pleasant cycle. This small patch of unfound caches has now been found and logged.
This cache took a few minutes to find. It has new cache goodies, but it could do with a new log as well. TFTC Liverpudlin.

Found it, but sadly it was very waterlogged. I had to clean it out and throw out the contents, including the pencil. The log book is manky but ok. Luckily my caching kit has spare pencils, zip lock bags, and a few pretty things to get the cache restarted, so it is almost as good as new now. TFTC
Found after a quick search of most likely spots with Aquilus1. Couldn't sign log though as it is soaked and needs replacing. Have photo for proof if required. Tftc!!
Found with dty73 but unfortunately was not able to sign due to how wet and moldy the log is. Contents of cache are all wet and in a condition that can not be repaired. Will need a replacement log. TFTC
F(H)ound It! #1634 - @6:03:00 PM
Great hide, - I'm glad it wasn't where I first started looking, yukky. The log is a bit damp but I was able to make my mark with my stamp. Thanks for the cache, Liverpudlin.

Nice spot ... cach needs maintenance. Very wet... snail covered. Possibly composting. Thanks Jess.
Down in Canberra for he weekend and staying nearby with my geo-sponsor. Today we took the dog for a walk, and he sniffed out a cache for me - he may have been here before
Thanks for placing this cache, jess'n'jas. Found in good condition.

Didn't find, rained yesterday.. may come back in better conditions. Was very damp
Geosense (after the GPS lead me here) quickly found this one. Everything very damp, including the log. Could do with some maintenance
Sunday 13 March 2016 - another hot Autumn day in the high twenties (29.5) with wispy clouds in the sky, no breeze and enjoyed at least a dozen hot air balloons in the sky at breakfast time yesterday and today. Found 3 caches (Kireet found 4) over a couple of hours bike riding some 12kms with my good friend's young son mid afternoon. TFTC.
