We are sadly archiving our first hide due to relocating premises and the area not suitable as it was before. Thankyou to all that have come finding this one. We certainly got to met a few cachers over the years.
With my time coming to a close at a nearby work place it was time to clean up all the local geocaches that I had been saving for a rainy day. I had been doing a mountain bike unit with a class and only had a small class yesterday so decided to hit the hill and collect the caches we had ridden past so many times before. This was an introduction to geocaching for the students and they loved it!
Today they were all keen to go out and find some more! They came and found me early before class and begged me to take them during lunch so that they had extra time out searching for geocaches. I agreed and we grabbed the gear we needed and headed off.
I have driven past this cache many times and knew what type of cache it was going to be so thought this would be a great one for the students! I was also keen to come and meet the Geokrew after they had found all my hides and enjoyed them!
We rode out to the store and ditched our bikes out the front. I pointed in the general direction and one of the boys had the cache within a minute! Whilst he was signing the log I headed inside and introduced myself to the Geokrew. It was good to finally put a face to the name and I enjoyed the brief chat we had before I took the boys onto the next cache.
The guys were really impressed with this hide! I'm awarding a favourite point on their behalf!
TFTC cheers

Found with the help of Spartman. Should be an easy one if you sit on it for a while. Made friends with Buddy while we were there! TGTC
Got to this cache today and felt funny approaching gz. I just went for it and started my search. I knew what I was looking for as have done this type of cache before. First spot I searched was totally wrong. I moved move around and there was a knock on the window. Lovely meeting the CO. She pointed me in the right area and after that I found it quickly. Might have to come back later to buy some birds TFTC
Out and about in this part of the world this morning doing some caching with Mumma-Kel, and I was pretty keen to do this one before we headed home ... I had previously made a fleeting visit here just before closing time but hadn't come up with the goods then. This time, I had the benefit of some advice on which part of the compound I should concentrate my search efforts and once there, the hint made sense and the find was quickly made ... nice one GeoKrew! Would have poked my head in to say hello, but from all the talk within, I figured you were busy with a client so just headed back to the car for the trip home.
Cheers, and thanks for another smiley and another smile, GeoKrew ... your hides have a habit of doing that to me!

Found with Dirtsquirter. After not being sure of what the clue would look like. I opted for the obvious and found it... TFTC The GeoKrew

#591 (2 of 13 today) (Streak day 135) (06 DtR)
The Geowife expressed a desire to see her friend on the Central Coast and go to a fair there. She wondered if I wanted to come as well, and while she was at the fair I could find some caches.
Having not come this far North for a cache, I readily agreed. It also gave me the opportunity to pick a special cache for my 600th - and I only had one candidate for that.
After the day we had dinner with her friend's family and headed home. A good day all round.
* * * END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION * * *
Drove to GZ and realised where I had to go. Started scouting around with an idea of what I was looking for, but a few of the obvious places were empty.
Finally moved to another spot when I heard a call from the office that I was close.
Only took a few more seconds to locate the cache - exactly what I was looking for, actually.
Had a short chat after completing signing duties.

It's like GeoKrew placed this cache for my geokid-5 who is animal-obsessed. We checked out the birds (a blue budgie is now on the wish list) and animal products before she made the quick find... A visit to a high school when she was 4 had taught her where to find the sticky stuff - needless to say when this find was completed, she asked if we could go find another one like it - TFTH GeoKrew, we loved it
There is only one spot left to sign. Glad to not worry about stealth while I unrolled and rerolled this one
I felt a little awkward about this one, trying to look for the cache when I figured I was being watched... However 'The GeoKrew' was there and said hello and was very friendly - nice to meet you! Thankfully I managed to find the cache myself and add my name to the log. Good hint. Thanks for the cache GeoKrew, and thanks especially for letting weird strangers invade your space!! (Note for others: You don't need to go inside any buildings to find this cache.)
If the last group of finders would be so kind as to replace the item they took from my work premises that would be greatly appreciated…..
Found along the tourist route on the way into the Yarramalong Valley.
Worthy of a Fav point.

This was a lovely experience, meeting the co and finding a great cache. The muggle husband and son even got out of the car for this one. Tftc and the other ones we did of yours today. I enjoyed them, tftf and meeting you.
Bought some goodies for the rabbit, got help from the bro, then went in for an easy find. Ta.
Had a couple of tries at this one. Finally found it. Great little cache, and nearby a cute dog was watching us find it. Wasn't expecting a cache like that until I read the clue again. Spoke to the CO. She was lovely.
TFTC! Looking forward to finding your other caches.

A 1/1 rating was certainly enough drawcard to attempt but still felt very conspicuous searching so close to muggles. Tried to act like we were there for other reasons when we heard “you’ve gone too far” then “now you’re in the right spot”. Guessed what camo I was looking for but it was nice to also have a PAF on hand and meet the CO at the same time. And yes, we do love dogs!
Beautiful day after the big wet last week so came up to the Central Coast for the day. No traffic so I arrived early which meant I had time to grab a cache. I'd just begun checking likely spots when the CO arrived for work. It was an unusual feeling hunting for a cache with someone right there who was taking no notice of me and didn't give you the look that what I was doing was weird.
A tip from the CO that I'd been in the right area and so back to the 1st spot I'd been looking and viola, CIH. SL returned cache and had a chat with the CO and still early to meet my buddies.
TFTC
Good luck with your upcoming competition!

Only gave myself 5 minutes for this one, as I had just found The GeoKrews 'Far out, this sign is outta sight' cache, and had to get back home asap.
Was told I was very close by the CO, but couldn't get a fix on it.
I'll be back for this one for sure.
It's a bit disconcerting searching for a cache, knowing you're being watched.
Nice to have met one of the GeoKrew.

After wandering around not being sure as to where the cache was, and not feeling comfortable being there. we made a PAF to confirm where the cache was. we sat down and signed the log. TFTC this was really different. hope the container wasn't made from what it is intended for!
thanks Geokrew for my first Urban. Certainly unusual not looking for snakes or spiders or holes to trip in.
Quick find after saying g'day. love the cache container. Thanks geokrew or should i say solo geokrew. TFTC
A wet and miserable day brightened up by meeting the CO. The coords, hints and logs are all helpful and accurate. TFTC
Found with a muggle friend.
I was in the wrong area to start, a window opened up and a hand pointed further over.
Once in the right area it only took a couple of minutes to find.
Good cache

Up in Wyong for the Central Coast Amateur Radio Club Field Day at the Wyong Racecourse, needed a cache for my caching calendar so thought I'd do a couple while in the area.
Visited the location earlier in the morning however, the placed was closed and I could not get to GZ.
Returned later in the morning, all was open and in full swing, spotted the cache and sat down to sign the log. Nice little cache in a great location.

Took GeoK9 for a walk to this one... after all, this one is all about her! Gorgeous little hide, thanks for the handy tool - really needed it! Took longer to put back than it did retrieving it... TFTC!
That took longer than it should of... All of the hints are perfect and it is not in the bushes/garden as the GPS would have you think. Very clever...! Thank you
Reperio at 1245.
I had come by this one before, but since it was directly in the view of staff and people passing by...I walked away. Today I came back hoping to gran this one undetected...and walked straight up to GZ...grabbed and signed the cache...and left. A nice little container I have seen a few of...but this one was almost in it's natural environment.
Gratias The GeoKrew.

Had some time to kill while in the area so I decided to quickly grab this one. Having read previous logs I knew what I was looking for, but where was it hidden? After some quick searching the cache was located. Had a lovely chat to the CO Annette who I'd met before. Great cache!
Very clever. Stumped for some time as not expecting the cache to look quite like it does. Well thought out
Tftc very tricky our co ord out by 28 but I needed a sit down while looking and wow! I like it very clever
We met the CO while attempting to find this one, she was busy inside pampering a poddle LOL.
Was nice to meet you, and many thanks for the cache's you have hidden in the area.
This cache took me back to my school dayz,..... when you find it you will know what i mean.
Cheers again to The GeoKrew for this and the other caches in the area.

After searching in the bushes and sustaining scratches, we were told by the owner that our iphone app was out by about 30 meters!! Still had difficulty locating cache but all good in the end. It's a great cache and I'm sure brings some giggles. TFTC.
We finally managed to get here during opening hours. We are normally only in the area after dark and hence the area is closed off.
It was good to have a chat to the cache owner. Well done on making the Australian team for Barcelona next year - good luck.
The cache did take us a little while to locate - we took a conveinetly placed seat to consider our options.
A good cache - well done.

After picking up some new caches earlier today we continued on to find some older ones a bit further afield. When we approached GZ I recognised that the CO would be close by. Good to meet up again after bumping in to them a week or so ago. Took a little while to find the cache, and, using the hint knew what to look for but didn't seem to be able to find it. Decided to sit a while and take stock of the situation and then I recognised what I had been looking for. Nice one GeoKrew.
The last cache I found this afternoon whilst out for a ride. Like a few of the other recent cachers, I was was sprung by the CO. Bit hard not to be given the one way mirror right near the cache
I suspect that you keep well on track of this cache, but I think one side of the log is full - I wrote on the other side

Found 3:46 PM with AuroraEve. TFTC. Met the CO and that helped with narrowing the search area. First cache of this type.
After a good sleep from a night of caching before, I decided to take the long way to Newcastle in order to see some friends for a get together
TFTC
enjoyed this one.

Made a quick find this afternoon and it was great to see at GZ a comfortable chair and table complete with tweezers and pen for cache duties. Then I had a friendly chat with the CO and co-workers. Thanks GeoKrew .
Thanks to friendly hint from fellow friendly geocacher, geokids found it. Great hide with friendly atmosphere. TFTC [8)]
Well Well Well. certainly one of my most interesting caching monments. when i got here did a quick search before the CO came out and had a brief chat and told me that it was undercover (hence the gps coords being off or mine inacurate). while we were talking i noticed the pen and special tool sitting on the table. searched everywhere for about 15min until a helpful hand popped out to confirm i was looking in the right area. had a bit more thourough search and found the very crafty cache!!! hitting myself in the head for not seeing it when i first arived. Clapping and cheering started when i found it and i soon made my way over to find the geodad who i had banished from finding the cache in fear that he might perform 'the victory dance and chant' which is highly embarrassing when around other people. thanked the helpful hand and the other ladies in the shop on the way out. TFTC!!!!!
Walked into the general location and after a few seconds of looking around in the bushes, GeoKrew herself came out to welcome me! After a bit of a chat, I had a another look around and soon found the sneaky little cache. Love the clue, Thanx GeoKrew
#300th overall find and what a great cache to bring it up with.
Have seen caches like this for sale on ebay but had never seen one in action.
Thankful for the tools left out for us because getting the log out may prove difficult without it!!
Shame we didn't get to meet you GeoKrew but ran into one of your friendly workmates
Great camo. Great Spot. Great cache
Thanks

After letting the shop keeper next door know i was geo-caching, soon had it in hand. Great cache.

Almost certain that I knew what type of cache we were looking for, but we arrived 15 minutes too late to look for it
Was a little tough but with some helpful tips soon had the cache in hand!!! Met the cache owner, lovely lady!!!!
Found during another SES deployment. GZ was eazy, but directing me to walk into a wall or two. Went into the wrong business, got some funny looks. Tried the other one, must of had the "geocacher look" and was then welcomed by The GeoKrew. Confirmed I was close and I quickly found. Great hide, some picture messages went around to some geofriends.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I was working from just the co0ords and a partial clue that was loaded on my GArmin 60 csx, so i had no idea it was ok to go in to the premises until i returned home and read the listing and logs.
oh well, as i'll be travelling past for several days , maybe more, i'll make another attempt.
Missed an opportunity to chat with the geocrew.

At first we were bamboozled by out GPSr, which wanted us inside the main building. We were saved by the CO, who was only too happy to point out where we should concentrate our search. Thankfully I had come across one of these before out at Wallacia.
Thanks TG. It's not often you actually have a CO on hand to guide you along.

As we rounded the corner we knew which business the cache was hidden near. Love the container and that there were tools nearby if required. We signed the log and headed into the shop and bought our Smelly Ellie a new Wubba Kong as she'd destroyed her last one. TFTC.
