Found by Mary & David at 1050. Enjoyed the drive, and the road was pretty good. Beautiful trees. The log is still damp, but useable. Our thanks to Blacklegend.
In Wangaratta for the one month to Alexandra event now heading home. Clue was not exactly correct but we finally found it. TFTC
Not in the clue's... But the geological was drenched and after pouring the water out from the cache, we signed and had a new LGA under our belts
This cache was not where the clue said . The log was soaked could do with some tlc

On a week of R&R in Cobram, we went for a drive this arvo along the Vic side of the Murray. Collected 2 caches, this being the first. A nice drive along here, with just a few potholes to make things interesting. Cache was found in a sad condition, log was very wet but we still managed to sign somewhere. After that we drove up to the edge of the Murray for a few pictures to take home.

Had a long three days of caching with a total of 2054 km done! Enjoyed every minute of it despite some dissapointments as well. Most caches I found were really nice and in good condition, thanks to all the CO for putting them out there! Trip Kiama-down the Hume to Albury/Wodonga-Along the Murray to Cobram-back to NSW and via Hay to Ivanhoe=back down to Griffith-Temora-Yass and home.

Had I known about this park, I would've stayed here instead of Shep. It was busy, however, being the middle of summer, and there were lots of campers set up around the river.
The cache itself was easy enough to find, but the swamp next door does smell a bit sus. TFTC.

Bus is still near GZ and heard big dog barking, my medium size dog was on alert!! Found cache not far from hint and in a different container to that described But a find is a find.. TFTC. Running out of time to do more maybe on a bicycle next time.
Took this one quick. Mufflonerin was afraid I could step on a snake. For luck I didn't.

We got fairly frustrated here, as we had checked everywhere near our GPS GZ, and according to the hint. Just as we decided that we'd stop wasting time on a 1.5 trad, the Moose checked a different spot and there it was! Thanks for the hide and bringing us here, a beautiful piece of park land.
Been up here on a birding trip and mooching around in between times checking out the birding and the neighbourhood, now I'm procrastinating about heading home, maybe I can just squeeze in one or two more finds...! Tho this was a nice sneaky one! Thanks for your efforts to show off the area, have seen more than ever before and really appreciate it
Ah, #3 The Start - well we made it the finish of our drive through the Cobram Regional Park. Lots more camps between #1 and #3 and the River looked pretty good today. SL at 2.07pm TNLN. No snakes or spiders encountered, although it did take a few minutes to locate the sneaky hide. The billabongs are quite dry at the moment. #2895 TFTC Blacklegend and for showing us this new area through caching.
TFTC. Staying at Dead River Beach so quite handy to the 3 in this series, took the car and followed the track along the river.
This one had me for a minute. I followed the clue but should have followed my sense and made the find.

Camping nearby for a few days and headed off to find the couple of caches nearby. No problems with this one and all was good.
Thanks for another one Blacklegend....

This is a lovely spot, another place I would never have discovered were it not for a cache having been placed here, and my good friend o.kay needing to give her car a run to test the air conditioning.
I enjoyed a nice drive in this area today. I had my lunch with me so had a bit of a look at the mighty Murray with picnic in hand. It was picturesque and very quiet with campers well spaced. This cache was in very good order. LNTN
Drove to Cobram to do some sightseeing, and pick up a few caches while in the area.
We found a variety of caches, and cache hides. This cache was located, after a short search.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Blacklegend, for us and others to find.

We were distracted by the koala in the nearby trees. What a great idea to make it just little bit harder to find. TFTC
Murray July 2014. A long weekend trip down to the Murray to explore and get some great caching dome. I was able to visit some great spots and get some very interesting caches on this trip. Thanks.

Must be a popular spot because there was camper's tent set up overlooking the water again. Wonjder if it was the same one? TFTC.
Left a strange coin I found at Mungo park. Not in sistema. I found it in a white screw top plastic vitamin container. Put it in a new zip lockbag. No snakes today only kangaroos.
This is close to where we are camping for a few days. We went to find the cache and unable to find it using the clue we found it in it's new location, after reading the previous log. Pleased I hadn't read that before looking for it, or it may still be there. TFTC
Located the gz, quickly spotted the cache and made a mad dash back to the car before we seen the snake mentioned in previous logs. TFTC
Thanks to the previous team for being braver than me and hiding it nearby, there's no way known I was going near no log that was hiding a snake of any sort, Tamzy and I sent hubby Jak in as snake bait and kept our eyes wide open we made him grab the cache, then we signed it very quickly and retreated just as fast we weren't hanging around to see if that snake was still in the area or not TFTC
My family and I were in Cobram and decided to do a bit of combined caching/bushwalking. We parked the car near this cache and walked to the cache at the pump station a few km away. It turned out to be a longer walk then initially thought (over 3 hours return) but was enjoyable, the highlight being the koalas we spotted along the way.
We had an 'interesting' start with this cache when we arrived at GZ to see a large red belly black snake slithering into the log that I assumed the cache was hidden in. After I finally plucked up the wits to get a bit closer to the log I spotted the cache lying on the ground beside it, lid missing. I obtained a large stick and used it to manoever the cache to a safer location (the snake was out of sight at this stagebut there was no way I was going close to the log!). After signing the log I spotted the cache lid underneath the log near where the snake had disappeared. The long stick again came in handy and I manoevered the lid out to a safe location.
There was no way I was going to hide the cache back in the log so I left it hidden beside a nearby stump.
TFTC and the unusual experience, first (and hopefully to be the only) time I've spotted a snake whilst caching!

My thanks to Megsandme for replacing the cache container and helping out with this one. Cheers, BL.
Found cache. Logbook too wet for further use. I have washed cache items and put into new 300ml screwtop container. I have removed rusty items, replaced logbook, added pencil and left Tb. Should now last hopefully.
This is an unusual one. I will leave it up and running for now, as I am now living in Qld, and those who have volunteered to help with my caches are not able to attend for a while. I will get it sorted out. Cheers.
Found GZ but unfortunately someone has taken the container.
Contents still there & in OK conditioin, left all there but away from the elements.
Otherwise a nice stroll to the spot. There was 2 camps nearby.

Thanks Blacklegend

This was our second cache before breakfast today, and it was an easy find although we were worried as we drove along the track that the muggles camped nearby would be close enough to interfere. Fortunately they were far enough away not to matter as we signed the log at 8:50am - now back to base for breakfast!!

Well this was a very easy find thank heavens, after the fruitless search I had for the Barooga Kidies cache. Again, my local area and haven't been done here before its a really nice spot. TFTC Blacklegend and Kidies
A lovely day to drive along the river through the forest. Thanks for this little series. TFTC
Sorry Blacklegend for the generic log but I'm trying to catch up on my logging, I currently have over 1000 to log before hitting some powertrails in the US after the block party next week. As always I enjoy the hunt whether I'm solo or with some of my caching or muggle friends. Thanks to those who have accompanied me to make the day more pleasurable and many thanks Blacklegend for placing this cache.
I came up to the Murray where my mother lives for Christmas and had a good adventure with my bro and mummy... Great hide guys thanks
I thought I had finished with the bouncing along dirt roads through the forests today
But as usual, I got sidetracked and soon found meself heading up and over the levee and into another delightful bit of Murray forestland [^]
I'm sure this will turn into a shortcut that will get me to Echuca I kept telling meself
The cache was a nice easy find with my big stomping boots on to scare away any tigers

A great start to looking around Cobram today, even better exploring all all the tracks, the 'crew' has just said 'you know whenever we go somewhere, it's always the long way'!!
Thanks for all of your caches Blacklegend, they have been great fun!!

I was up visiting my good mate Blacklegend and fellow member of The Demolition Crew and decided to go out on a maintenance run on a number of his caches in the area. While he stood back I searched for these caches, and popped my name in the log. Thanks Adam for the and the laughs.
This one was on the same map we were using for the town, so we thought we could just grab this one as it was close. (Didn't notice the other two!) A good sized cache, fortunately the roads were dry today.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
# 535. Found in the company of Robmc, Purpledreamer and Chewinprickles. Haven't been over this way before. We were pleased to find this large container. The contents and log were wet but we managed to sign in a fashion. Hopefully it will now stay dry where we replaced it. Thanks Blacklegend.
Did one of these a while back while working here. came in in the truck with a long trailer and wondering if I'd be able to turn around. Bit more suitable transport this time around.
Thanks again
Thanks again
Found it easily enough but the log was in a sealed bag full of water inside a sealed container full of water.
Found and logged at 9:50, Spending a few days caching along the Murray
A great area and a quick pick up

Good one for the lunch hour, duck down the bush then nip back to work .... Good one legend...
Sorry its taken so long to log the cache, the dog really did eat my note book ripped it to pieces we picked up all the bits and put it away in the cupboard and forgot about it. Today after spending ages to sticky tape it back together I can now start logging, the ones I can still read anyway, the others will have to wait to we get back and check the log books.
This cache we found with Team Crackers after the event,

#1728 Found on our Cobram/Barooga caching weekend with DJ Rascal and haveanez. Had a bit of a laugh when we noticed definite tyre tracks headed toward GZ but they promptly stopped - looked like a stump had halted forward progression for them . The GeoKid was given the task of coming up with the cache & made a swap for his efforts. Whilst putting the cache back, the swap toppled down a deep hole & couldn't be seen. The poor kids face was priceless & we inconsiderate adults cracked up over it but Mrs H got into trouble the most - hope you came good with your promise to him Mrs H . TNLN thanks for the stash Blacklegend
Another neat hide from Blacklegend, found early in the morning on the second stanza of the birthday bash weekend.
Many thanks for the hide.
Many thanks for the hide.
Found on a 3 car convoy with Walenators and Earthbound Chief through the trails.
Plenty of muddy tracks didnt stop the Commodore and we soon had the cache in hand.
Many thanks to Blacklegend for the off road cache.

Slowly leaving the area this one of the last before heading towards home.
Easy drive to within 20mt of Gz but was shocked to see that someone had even tried to drive that.
A geotrail has already formed here in the short time the cache has been placed which made finding Gz even easier.
Little Ez made the find and retrieved the cache before making the hard decision on what to swap, only for his treasure disappear down the black hole towards China as he was covering up the container. His face really did show his disappointment but all anyone could do was laugh.
Thanks for another riverside cache location. The whole area around the river here must be popular with bird spotters and photographers capturing some great shots of the wildlife you can find here.
TNLN, Cheers.

TFTC, nice quick find, after a bumpy ride in, found with Roostaman, Fred6603, and Hinco
Found with DJ Rascal & Skullracing as we wer slowly heading for home. Followed the nicely flattened grass to GZ & the Geokid made the find.
He was a little disappointed after making his swap it fell into the big black hole - we all had a laugh but he wasn't impressed.
Many thanks for the cache BL.

Oops! Accidentally covered the Farmers 5 vehicle in mud when our back wheels slipped in a lovely puddle! Sorry Farmers but your car was just too too clean! Err, sorry! TFTC, enjoying our day out with friends (I think they are still our friends?)
We know this area well as Dads mother used to live in Wakool Street and my Aunt still does. We spent a lot of time camping on the many beaches that are along this part of the Murray as we were growing up. Things sure have changed since then but it is still a great part of the world. We pulled up and really did not need a GPSr as the geo trail to a very likely location was quite clear, we followed it and bingo were soon signing the log.
Thanks Blacklegend, James, Marindah and Natasha for bringing us back here.
Thanks Blacklegend, James, Marindah and Natasha for bringing us back here.
The Chief was desperate to get our car dirty until he discovered just how much fun it was getting someone else's car dirty. Even if it was by accident, uh oh.
Mum said something about being close to the road and heading back into Cobram which sounded very promising. Dad covered the Farmers 5 car with mud as we left this cache. My god, he's embarrassing!
Found with Spladem during 'Blacklegend's Bush Birthday Bash' event held on the Saturday in Barooga. Well and truly dark now so it was night time 4W driving through the park. Using Spladems satellite views on his ipad and the track maps I had of the park, we made our way to GZ and found the cache shortly afterwards. Now to find our way out. TFTC.
Found with Quasar3671 After some wrong turns and night time 4x4ing to get in here.. Thanks Black Legend for this fun little series and tricky find which was my #1276
TFTC *FDF* Found with Hinklenator Roostaman and Fred6603 Nice grassy area found cache easily.
