Marshall's Geelong found this cache today,
this one was a head-scratcher! After getting misled by wrong information I acquired, I decided to get help from the CO! thankfully mashworth was much obliged to help me out and put me on the right path. Once I figured out where to look - the answers just fell out like others have mentioned. After completing this a few days ago I went down to GZ to log the cache. Cache was not too difficult to locate, and the cache is sound.
TFTC mashworth for a head-scratching but rewarding cache!

I needed another puzzle to fill today's date on the grid so Geodog Teddy and I set off for an early morning dog walk. We parked nearby and made the short walk to GZ where I soon spotted the cache. Returning to the car I decided to stop off near Mychett Canal for a longer dog walk, nice to have it less cold!
Puzzle: I remember lots of internet searching brought some relevant information but it was not enough to please geochecker, it took a while for further information to become more apparent to enable the final stage to be completed!

Was too nice a day to sit in the office this lunchtime so popped out to collect having solved a few days ago. I realised I didn’t bring a pen on the way there but fortunately there was a pencil in the cache. TFTC
This was one of those local puzzles that we looked at on and off for a while, before starting to make real headway. When we did so, we found some interesting information, but further inspiration was required before the numbers revealed themselves.
We then left it until we needed a puzzle cache, and eventually viisted it today. It was a quick find, no doubt the finder the day earlier had cleared away the debris that had accumulated over time.

This is one of the very first puzzles I remember looking at, many years ago. However, I only got around to solving it in 2015 - having previously followed up all the wrong clues !
So, some 3 years later I finally get around to picking it up. Nice walk to the gz, but spent around 20 mins trying to spot it... and in the end there it was... well, I think perhaps I found the replacement cache as a certain feature of it was not present. never mind - all in perfect condition.

I needed an unknown cache today for a challenge (GC75W5F) so I decided to go and find this one. The puzzle had kept me going for quite a while but I finally got to the bottom of it thanks to a great hint from someone else. No problems finding the cache though. Thanks for the cache.
I have to confess to failing to spot what was needed on many visits to solve this puzzle, and then a chance conversation made me realise I had missed something obvious - a very quick solve after that.
No problems at GZ, although I am sure I signed the original log and not a replacement!! Cache in good condition.

I am filling my found dates grid with puzzle only caches and today is a day I needed a ? however I was off to the BB7 Mega in Belgium and didn't want to be under pressure there to pick one up there, so I looked at solving a puzzle near to our meeting place before starting the drive. After reading the CO log suggesting a good date to solve the puzzle I soon had some numbers (not sure if I would have got there otherwise)
Spooney 15 offered to accompany me to GZ as it was 4.45am and still dark and drove me to a path we started to walk down but when my GPS finally got a fix I noticed we were a long way from the GZ I had marked - it turns out the CO has moved the cache and Spooney was going by memory of the previous location - luckily I had the updated coordinates and we moved the car to the correct GZ. After a short walk and a hunt in the dark with torches I had the cache and pleased to have my smiley puzzle for the day (although it turned out I found another two later in the day in Belgium so I needn't have worried)
Thanks for the cache and puzzle.

Needed a cache today to fill a gap in my date grid. This was the nearest to me and has been on my solved list for a while. As I remember, I made a bit of a meal out of this puzzle but got there in the end with a DOH !!! moment.
Short walk from parking to GZ where cache was found quickly. Is still nicely tucked away and has new log. TFTPC.

Following Muckypuppy's DNF I have looked myself (twice!) but sadly to no avail. I am therefore disabling while I decide whether or not to replace. Presumably most people who wanted to find it already have - but let me know if that is not the case.
I had a "half hearted" attempt at finding this today with no luck. I suspect it is still there as it is a fairly remote location and I did not search thoroughly. I will be back at some stage.
Many thanks to the CO for allowing me to log this as a find as the cache was missing when I visited GZ.
I must be one of the few people who is not familiar with the subject matter of this puzzle so it took me several attempts to work out what was going on. From what I can remember it was the CO's recent note that finally got me on the correct track.
With many thanks for the puzzle

This was the second puzzle cache I ever solved and to begin with I had no idea what to do with the information. I mulled over several possibilities but just couldn't get anything sensible from it until that special day in October came around. My son emailed me something vacuous and as soon as I read the topic I knew what I should be looking for in this puzzle. Numbers cascaded out and I felt very pleased with myself
Today I found myself in the area so decided it was high time I collected it. The hint led me with pinpoint accuracy to the cache and the log in now signed. Also took the TB.
Thanks for an enjoyable puzzle & cache!

I think it was Richie Cactus that suggested the Puzzle Club looked at this one - but ===sgb had already done it, so I began to look at it myself.
Probably went down the obvious dead end and gave up when the numbers clearly did not work - then it fell to the "need to ponder for ages" pile.
Saw the CO's note on the 21/10 and bingo - it all fell into place and I had the right answer.
Found time to pop out today and after checking in the wrong place first, I relocated and spotted this well wedged cache straight away.
Clever puzzle and glad to have finally solved another one from mashworth's back catalogue.
TFTC and left a TB for the next visitor.

After going down the obvious dead-end I eventually latched onto the correct theme. The numbers just tumbled out and the solutions been sitting on my solved pile for a while now.
This evening we decided to have a drive into an area we seldom go to collect 2 of the COs caches. This one was a short walk from where we parked followed by a quick find at gz thanks to the hint.
