SJT_NZ and I were keen for a casual wander on Sunday afternoon so explored a couple of trails we hadn't been to before. Cache was a quick find and all in good order.
A quick find on a road that we hadn't been up before. All in good order, completed formalities and returned as found. Thanks for another Sidewaze cache.
I have a photo of this exact spot taken back in 1987 when a friend and I biked out here from Stoke to see how long it took us. The reason for this ride was to see how long it would take us to get to work via bike instead of using a car. A favorable result meant we started biking to work about once a week during the summer months.
With a souvenir up for grabs for finding a puzzle cache, a day on duty on Sunday preventing any potential road trips on that day and there being no local puzzles to solve, or find, on my side of the hill there was likely to be only one outcome; yet another trip over the Whangamoas for a Nelson caching raid. All this was tied up with a weather prediction of better weather in Nelson than Blenheim (for once) so a trip was planned. mrs capperz and nightowl desired some retail therapy with a double tap of Nelson C B D, followed by the now obligatory Richmond Mall visit. All that means is I get to drop them off at each location and cache around the vicinity. Nice.
Probably our last trip over this way for a couple of months with our impending trip overseas now just over 2 weeks away. Excited!
Having collected my girl passengers and deposited them at the Mall, I had 3 hours of caching to be getting on with so a decision to clear out the banks of the Wairoa river followed by a trip up Eves Valley seemed to be just what would fill in the time nicely.
After a D N F at W W W I headed back to the car and repositioned at Eves Valley for my last few caches of the day. Q E F here and a lot of stored water for the wood processing I suppose. So much industry in that compound, busy busy!

Went to look for a couple up Eves valley to no avail so thought I should look here on my way home & yippee found it. TFTC
I seem to recall reading somewhere that there are only something like twenty people needed to man this plant on any one given shift; pretty impressive really given the size of the operation. Still, so few people means there's little chance of being mugged.
Not sure I would have found this without the hint as the GPS wanted to take me further along the fence.
A pretty quick find all the same.
Now on to Eves Valley.
Thanks

The Alphabet that goes on for ever, there always seems to be one more for me to find. Surely this is it now. A quick find. Cheers and TFTC
A good spot to highlight the cache name with the denuded hills on one side and the massive Carter Holt factory on the other. Didn't even know it was here as this is the first time we have ventured past NCIS: Cat and Mouse at the start of the road.
There were a few geotrails to follow in the long grass and in the end we found using the hint rather than the GPSr. Then we had to spend time removing the sticky seed heads from our socks . TFTC.

#9174. Good to have a cache where there are good views of the processing plant. Didn't know this plant was here (unlike the huge plant on the edge of the Waimea Inlet, which is visible from all directions). TFTC.
On a geocaching holiday with tmann421 seeking out caches at the top of the South Island. Thanks to all the CO's for making this such a memorable trip.
Another good hide here.

We were on our way back from the long weekend out tramping in Kahurangi National Park, and we were picking up caches along some of the way back home to Chch.
I don't even know what estation is... haha. But we were coming along this way on the way so decided to stop by. Nice big parking spot, and pulled over following what looked to be the obvious route to the obvious spot. - Sheep across the fence were all staring at us - Maybe Estation is something to do with sheep?? Haha. Either way, quick easy find and sign, luckily the sheep won't reveal the hiding spot!

GPS really had issues getting a fix here. so used the hint and got it right away. TFTC
Now here was a road I am pretty sure I havent been up before. Nice to explore some new areas. Suspect the facility here is 24hrs, plenty going on when we came through. tftc
A quick park and grab while cleaning up a few caches ion the area and another in the series in the bag. TFTC Sidewaze.
A beautiful sunny Nelson afternoon and after a lunch at the newly re opened Moutere Hills winery (highly recommended) headed off with Mrs MuzzaL53 navigating for some nearby caches. Nice quick find. TFTC
Another Sidewaze alphabet letter sorted, location to match the title so not a top location to visit other than Dsire to sign off a cache. Thanks for the effort in this series !
We missed doing this one when last up this valley so since we were out this way for a couple of new caches today we naturally included this one. Took a bit longer than expected, our co-ords were a bit more distant than expected but we got there in the end. TFTC.
After the event in Nelson we were amped. We dedicated a small area that included new caches and realised this one missed out on a previous run. The find was a bit harder than expected but no real probs. TFTC
small cache with a giant log bag - meant for little room for anything else. Interesting view relating to cache name. Managed to get away just in front of the large vehicle laden down with logs, that we spied leaving.
Quick drive by before going up the valley to do a couple more caches. Thanks.
So far we have only picked up a few of this series. We are enjoying the humour of the names. A very appropriate spot for this one. Thanks.

Quick find for the 4year old, Thanks.
It was a bit wet today but why not grab a few caches.Nice hide and loved the names in this series TFTC
A Jr B production from start to finish - I just provided the transport. He did feel the coords were a little off. This was to explain why it took so long to find, mind you. I just stood there and enjoyed the sunshine! Must take him to C for Ces.... TFTC.
Super views over the dam. Gps took a little while to find where to lead us but got there in the end. Thanks for the cache =)
The headlights helped as we looked for the cache as light was fading - Stretch0 soon found the cache and we signed the log - place looked interesting all lit up at night as it did when we were there - thanks for bringing us this way again and the cache
A wet Sunday completely changed my caching plans for today. So after several hours of Plan B - trying unsuccessfully to solve puzzles I gave up and headed for the real thing. I have to say it is quite a pleasant view from here. TFTC #2102
Had intended doing this one on the way to town but we ended up going straight in but it was all go on the way home headed up the road and once close to GZ i was fairly positive of the cache location A quick dive into the first guess was not sufficient so #2 came up trumps TFTC
D GPS was not settling for Mrs Sobad but Sobad found it immediately by d ciding on a good spot. Left TB. Thanks
