Will have to have a think about this one as the structure the cache was in is now gone. This is the second one in the area so may have to think on this one.
Seems the GPS was pointing to one specific location but couldn't find it anywhere close. It was getting a bit dark and being with someone else my concentration was probably a little weaker but still looked for ages.
Something a bit different from footy!
A nice diversion on this rainy day!
We hopped out of Sooty and found the cache quickly!
I like these easy ones when I'm soaking wet and shivering

This one seemed to be a little bit easier today then I expected, as we kind of found it uncovered. Not to worry though as it was still here and the log was signed and now a little better covered.

Sad story about Dominique.
Cache dry but log was wet.

Had to come back after the kiddies were back in class, but then it wasn't a problem!
(I may have signed every logbook with the 7th not the 6th... D'oh and Sorry!)
Thanks for the fun!

I was on a bike ride around the Bray today.
In this quiet little park I took a seat on one of the trio of toadstools.
That looks like a grate hiding place
Alas, the cache did not seem to be attached to it's hiding place any more
I found no trace of the cache lying around nearby.
That done I took the time to read the nearby plaque.

As Feathertop said, we found the spot that matches descriptions, but there was nobody home.
Thanks, Robmc.

A quick find

Massive wasp nest!
Found it straight away.
We also knew Dominique before she tragically died in the fireworks accident at the Holy Spirit Fete. Was a close family friend.
We found it touching that someone actually made a cache dedicated to her memory, especially when they didn't even know her.
TFTC, seriously.

Not too hard to find, but I'm glad I found the wasps before they found me! Great caution should be taken when grabbing this cache!!!

The cache has been checked. The cache is in the correct position and it appears that the paper wasps have left the area.
Found the location of the marker, but it seems to be in a suspicious spot not suitable for a cache. If the marker is correct, then it may have washed away.
Or rather I think I did find it, but before I could act the wasps found me and they were not feeling quite so mellow today. So instead of confirming my find I high-tailed it out f there nursing my rapidly swelling finger
But I'll be back - preferably when I have Mr Seizer in tow and he can go poking his hands into dubious places

First day of a new month, and my slide towards OZ MEGA next weekend continues. Nine hundred and something finds so far, should slide in with ease to the one thousandth being the MEGA.
And what a beautiful morning to be outside caching. Fresh from smashing 300 in March I hot the roads this morning, via my favourite coffee shop, and soon arrived here. Today's goal is to clear the northwest closest two dozen unsmiling boxes off the map.
5th find of the day, coffee still going. It's about a litre so it really should be.
Easy enough to find after thinking about it a bit. A few muggles walking the four-footed masters, but no unhappy neighbours. One more smilie to the bunch!

Thanks for the information about the park. Took just a little longer than expected but OK with a little thought.
Arrived at GZ, Decided to log onto internet and read the clues to this one. We noticed a muggle watching, so wandered around a bit, said hello, but we clearly weren't welcolme here. Told police had been called, so had to give up on this one. Maybe CO could consider moving this, as local resident not happy with anyone poking around here???????
Having planned a day up North to cache through this area, I was pleased to see this one come back online just in time for the run... [^]
I teamed up with Kaisho53 for a morning out on the trails and to get in and out before the rain came. Luckily, we stayed dry for the entire run...
On arrival at this one the options were limited and I was checking another area when Kaisho53 came up with the goods. An elderyl muggle was strolling down the footpath behind us but had hie eyes squarely focussed on his feet so there was no way he saw us. We signed the log and tucked the container away before shuffling off. I hope this one lasts. The attachment method might not be strong enough to keep it there long...
The clouds were looking particularly threatening as we headed off. Guess someone got some rain today...
Cheers Eco & Rev.

Found this while caching with Gunnie69 today..
CO had just put this back on line in time for our jaunt today...
Arriving adjacent GZ we started our hunt...
As Gunnie inspected some flora I wandered down hill a bit and came up with the goods..
Cache was soon to hand and log signed...
Managed to dislodge a wasps nest as I replaced the cache and luckily they weren't in an over vicious mood today - they just scattered rather than attack or our day could have been cut short there & then...
Think cache attachment may still need some consideration - not sure how long the velcro anchor will remain attached..
TNLNSL
Thanks Eco & Rev for the cache

Yay! An easy and quiet/undisturbed find after the last uneventful hour at Madeleine's Backyard. Nice walk between the two along lovely wide paths. Sad about Dominique. One of my good friends went to school at Holy Spirit and knew her family. Thanks for bringing us here.
Merry Christmas everyone, found this after 2nd attempt. First time GPS was way off as it was cloudy, second time round it's a beautiful clear day and the GPS was spot on. Hint was very helpful. Be careful of ninja turtles and muggles surrounding the park. Cache was dry and pencil still there. TFTC.
Find #110. Found 27/11/2011 @3:25:00 PM.
This little spot certainly is exposed! However, GZ was quickly located and a brief search turned up the cache. It's a very ingeneous hide. We visited the memorial to poor Dominique and reflected on the fragility of life.

My second find for the day. The large tree/bush provided some protection from muggles at the memorial. Visited the memorial afterwards. TFTC.
"Brother Colin" should have searched late at night like I did. No one in sight, so I wandered over to GZ and there was the cache looking at me. TN/LN/SL and went away a happy cacher.
On a very rare and very much appreciated day off for EngPhil, we decided to venture forth with the kidlets and see if we could grab a few caches. Of course, he'd already done this one, but I hadn't, so we did a nice quick drive by and grab while the kids snoozed in the car. Too bad MissGeosie was asleep, she would have really enjoyed the playground. TFTC!

Out on the goebicycle today.
10 to 3pm is definitely not the best time to be here for this one. Parents everywhere picking up kids. Waited for a gap in the proceedings and gotya. Signed and returned quickly.
last of 26 for the day.
Now to cycle back to Ferny Grove ....against the wind
Thanks for the cache.

Quick find after returning to the car for a piece of essential cacher's gear. No butterflies and no muggles, either.

No butterflies this afternoon - I expect the hordes of schoolchildren playing sport nearby scared them away. The cache was not where I expected, so it took a little bit of searching to turn it up, but happily, all eyes were on the schoolkids and I was free to look. TFTC, Eco & Rev. =^.^=
Nice quick find during a visit to a friends grandmother. Lovely memorial. Thanks for bringing me here.
nice easy find . took the time to read about Dominique's tragic end , the park is a loverly way to remember her. TFTC
Sad about the little girl. Geo partner remembered that it haad something to do with an unlicensed operator and a wayward skyrocket. Quick find by geo partner. Cache nice and dry. TNLN TFTC Thanks Eco & Rev
I parked so I only had a short walk and the cache was easy to locate.
There were school sports activities nearby but the tress shielded me from view.
I signed the log and then checked out the plaque. Such a terrible accident.

Poor Dominique - lovely way to remember her. This was a good one - thanks to the Geocousins (Eco&Rev). #3!
An interesting place no one around as a shower was approaching. Another tricky hide Thanks Eco & Rev
A quick find with the clue. Kids were happy to see another playground and managed to get a quick play in whilst we signed the log.
Nobody around which made things easy. The kids enjoyed yet another play at a park. TFTC
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga 2 at 3:03pm. The cache was found quickly but at this time of day we had to be aware of all the muggles. TFTC
Found ok while i was in the area today. I took a moment to read Dominique's plaque (such a tragedy), before attacking the cache nearby. Thanks Eco &Rev
Had to delay a while as a muggle sauntered past. Easy after that. Sad story of a lost life.

This was to be my last actual find for the day after a great morning and by now afternoon peddling around North Pine. I took time to reflect on the sad story of the loss of a young life while signing the log.
Found with Bedmaker.
It was dark when we arrived so we had to get out the torch. It didn't take long to locate the cache. Very nice hiding spot!
Thanks for bringing us here and letting us know about Dominique.

Found with TassieGirl,
This was a night time find for us, it certainly gets dark quick now.
So by tourch light we searched. TG saw an area and upon closer inspection I investigated. Yep there it was.

872 - Found this one in an area where I didn't think I would find a cache - sneaky hide indeed. Logged at 2:28pm. I remember the night of the terrible accident - I heard the extra loud boom from our then home at Brighton, but it wasn't until the next day that I found out about the tragedy that took young Dominique's life and seriously injured another seven people. Thanks for the cache and the dedication to Dominique Eco & Rev.
Noone in the park today so it was a quick find although Loki frightened herself (you'll see when you get there if you haven't done this cache yet!). Thanks Eco&Rev
I walked to where my GPS said GZ was and thought " that can't be right"
So I looked in a more likely place... for quite a while....
So went back to the first spot... and found the cache
Co ordinates were spot on for me.... sneaky hide!
Thanks Eco & Rev

at 14:24. It had to be there but we still didn't see it at first.
TFTC again Eco & Rev. This cache is also fine.

I had attempted this one on the way home last night. But I was feeling average and felt bed was more important than my continuing search. I arrived this morning just on dawn and started the hunt again. The well-hidden beast soon revealed itself to me. I am glad I picked this time of day to do this one. The cache is in good condition and all as it should be. TFTC Eco & Rev
Palopinto, MissGeosie and I were out shopping in the opposite direction from home from these caches when they were published. Figuring vwnuts, Nearra, Guccigal and/or Fangsoki would have the FTFs in the bag, we elected to try for a nearer one instead. However, hours later, there were still no logs. So, MissGeosie and I set off for a raid. We figured the caches must have been found but not yet logged online, but we just had to know...
We arrived at this cache and quickly spotted the hide. Imagine my surprise when I opened the book and found it blank! [^] Find #470 is an *FTF* at 17:20. Spurred on by this unexpected success, we headed back to the car and continued on our way. We were on a roll, so didn't stop to read the memorial this time -- but I'll certainly do so when next I visit. TFTC, Eco & Rev. [^]
