Quite a tricky find. The GPS was bouncing around a little while then crigithis came up with the goods. TFTC know-mads
Came here a while ago, but there were barricades blocking the area off due to works. Back today, and access ok. Took a bit to find this, but got there in the end. Container is more of a pull off than screw off now, and log getting a bit tattered on outside layer, but fine to write on after unwrapping it a bit. Not sure how watertight it will be if and when the rains come. TFTC!
Spent half an hour searching on the way up for his one. Couldn't find it so left it alone. Came back a couple of hours later with some fresh ideas but without luck again. Curious to see where the hide is. Looks like this one was too good for me and gozanators today.
Fount it with the help of Baxter the Dog and Little C. whom spot the cache by finding a great interrest to the camo. Nice walking track.
Did not have a pen to sign the log but I have a picture of the log if needed. I will try to get back there tomorrow and sign it !
Thanks for the cache!

Yet another lovely reserve to walk through, and fortunately for us, lovely and quiet on such a hot day. Cache was quickly located and log signed. Thanks know-mads
Number 3 of 3 found on a New Year afternoon walk with the dog through this linear parklands. After initially being unsuccessful on this one I found that the GPSr gave me a much more accurate location for GZ on the return journey and the little cache container was soon found. Thanks know-mads.
Out on a nice walk before the new year with StaceV 1 & 2 the boyfriend and dog cheers for the cache
# 2603. Caching this afternoon at Inverloch with pprass and Robmc after attending the Pre New Year Event. This was the first find for me. After the previous DNF log I wasn't sure I was going to find this sneaky little hide, so was relieved when I spotted it. I can understand why it could be a DNF. TFTC
During the intervening time between the Pre-Xmas Events we went to Inverloch to do a few caches with Bettyboo3747 and Pprass.
I had looked at this one last year, unsuccessfully. Today we had a better idea of what we sere looking for.
A good find by Bettyboo.
Thanks, Robmc.

Whilst holidaying in Inverloch, we took young Miranda out on a cache hunt seeing see enjoyed it so much last year. This was a DNF for us last year, yet tonight, I spotted it immediately. I think the torch may have helped this time.
Thanks FTC know_mads

dnf, search high and low, cut by sword grass, disturbed a bull ants nest and got well and truly covered in grass seeds. I'm sure the cache is in the grass there somewhere, but it's too overgrown at this time of year. Perhaps later in the season it'll be easier
No muggles here today. There's lots of these little walking tracks here in Inverloch we're discovering today thanks to Know Mads.

You don't realise how many walking tracks there are in a town until you take up caching. Oh and we nearly got run over by an old muggle with a walking stick. tftc
Bit of a soggy walk through the reserve today, especially the branching off at the end to grab the cache. Still sheltered enough given the horrible weather lately. Tftc!
Found at 11:40. Not too far from our last cache to this one and the cache was located in the first spot a checked. Unfortunately it appears that half the cache container is missing although the log is still dry. Thanks
My second cache in this reserve today and it was a novel one. Managed to avoid muggle detection with geodog helping with the find. How cool would it be if your dog could actually sniff out mint tins lol. Thanks know-mads for another hunt.
Yay - found it while on a road trip to the Inverloch area with a Geobuddy and my Geodog on Saturday April 28th.
Thanks Mrs know-mads for setting up this cache. We really enjoyed our walk through the Reserve today. A couple of Muggles did sneak up on us but Geodog proved to be a great decoy - he needed to rest very close to GZ - LOL.

Took a while to locate this one. Had to put the brains into gear to work out the title:) Great hide. TFTC know-mads
Didn't find it the first time, but looked a bit more carefully the next day and walah we found it!
Found while down at Cape Paterson for the event with Team Crackers. Nice hide, took a liitle while before Mr.Coffee found the location.
Thanks Know-mads

Filling in time between the pprass New years Cape Patterson event and the dinner event Mrs Crackers hitched a ride with Mr Coffee and the Coffee Clan to grab a few caches on the way to visit Mrs Coffee's mother. Once parked we headed off towards gz, it's quite amazing how much bush land lies behind houses that you don't even notice whilst driving around. As we entered the reserve and knowing the size of the cache we began to think that it may have been a long hunt but fortunately with spot on co-ords Mr Coffee and the Coffee Clan had the cache in hand after a relatively brief search.
Now the cache name makes a lot more sense now as well. We added our names to the log and headed back to the comfort of the air conditioned car
Thanks know-mads for the cache

Found an object that could have fitted the description quite well but not the cache.

We had a look for a while, but had no idea what we were actually looking for. We had some guesses, but they weren't good enough.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
Found by Mary & David at 1935. Second time lucky. We'd spent ages looking here last time. Today, though, we got lucky shortly after arriving. Our indicated GZ this time was a couple of metres away from where it had been, and that made all the difference. Good to be able to cross off another previous DNF. Can see now why we missed it last time. Our thanks to know-mads.
We certainly did wrap our lips around this one today. Dave decided to to go back to the car for some fashion accessories (gloves) to assist in the search but we had it found before he returned. TFTC

We've been here with the Walenators before. On the previous visit it was getting to the end of our day and we probably weren't as thorough as we should have been. Today we returned with more sets of eyes and more determination and were rewarded. Heads down & bums up, the find was made by Mrs Walenator. TFTC
Found at 5:06:43 PM GAFF4 take 2. We were passing by and after some confirmation that we were looking for the right object we made a more concerted effort. This time we looked very low and the cache was found quite well covered by vegetation. A very tricky hide with the co-ords being within 2 metres!
Thanks know-mads

DNF at 3:29:56 PM. We looked for a few minutes thinking all the time of what we could wrap our lips around, but saw nothing obvious apart from a couple of stubbies. Not even any lipstick containers We then thought that it was not worth continuing considering that there were so many DNF's and no maintenance response from the owner.
Have checked cache recently and it is there don't want ti make cache to easy with a hint know-mads
Another DNF for me this morning. By now I was getting pretty jack of micro's in the bush with no hints!
Headed out tonight for a cache run down to Inverloch. A bit of a drive for the night which took me through Glen Forbes, Glen Alvie and Wonthaggi and picked up a FTF as well.
Spent a good 1/2 hour searching but a well hidden micro in the bush with no hint was always going to be tricky.

I found it a bit hard to find, lucky I have a cleaver Dad!! Accidently disturbed a bull ant nest so look out!
We just couldn't find this in the fading light. Spent 15 minutes then decided to move on
Spent ages looking around here. So many possibilities, and we don't do so well on micros in those circumstances. It was probably staring us in the face, too. Thanks anyway to know-mads.
Clever hide.....
Found it with wife and 2 friends who are loving the caching.
Cheers

2.25 Whilst staying in the caravan park at Cape Patterson over the easter weekend we had some spare time to go out for a while. Parking close by it was but a quick walk to GZ, but we had to do it twice. The first time both machines just would not settle and we gave it a good going over, it was a miserable day so luckily only one muggle walked by in the hole time we were there. After 1/2hour we gave up and thought we might have to resort to help line. Today was another day and Mr xambo did not waste much time at all.
Excellent little hide, I can see why the rating.

Yeyyyy!! We finally found it!!
We had returned for another look and still had no success, so an SOS email was sent as this was the last cache in Inverloch for us and we were leaving Saturday.
know-mads kindly gave us some extra clues to help us find this cache
The container was as we expected - it was the position and how it was hidden that tricked us!!
Armed with the extra info, this time we found it within seconds of arriving at GZ
TFTC know-mads, and for all the caches you put out around the town! A special thanks for the extra help on this one!

Our friends arrived this arvo and so we set off to grab a few caches. We did a car shuffle so there was a car at each end of our planned walk. This was the second cache but we didnt have any luck here. Our friends weren't keen to hang around too long so we continued onto the next cache
We'll hopefully be back for another look before we go home on Saturday ...
