could be gone, found the likely spot, but no cache, there was an imprint in dirt that looked as if a cache had been there?????
There was a bit of traffic, but i just took photos till it died down. The a quick grab and signing of the log book then i was on my way
A quick find while driving past today. A clever piece of art work here. TFTC [^]

16:15 JC Cache Dawg & I had had a zzz, retrieved his lead from one of yesterday's caches & finally heading out of Lawrence. Didn't need any high jumps for this cache. Cheers, GC.
Last day of our MEGA cache raid so we decided to head further south before our flight home tonight.

So this was Day Three of my NZ trip on route to the Mega Event.
We had a very slow start to the day, taking in breakfast at a local bakery
before collecting a few Caches in some very interesting locations around Alexandra.
Now on route to Dunedin we pulled off the main road to look at a few specific caches.
We chose this one as it was on our route. Not sure if you would call this a piece of art ???
But was certainly a surprise to find it here.

After arriving quite late into Alexandra last night and then being up until 2am logging and chatting it was a much slower start for the West Australians today.
Heading now towards Dunedin for the Mega.
An interesting, if not terrifying drive for us today. With the temperature getting down to 4degrees and being in a very windy stretch of road during 20minutes of hail it is a day we won't be forgetting in a hurry.
The road has been very busy today and we have missed a few caches that we thought we might stop at as there has been nowhere to pull over. No such problems here.
We were wondering about the cache name, until we got to GZ. Parked up at the corner and walked back. Had the cache replaced just as the heavens started again. MM ran back to the car as he had left his jacket there. lol..

Cache number #24 on the Mega expedition. Decided on a detour before the event. Jump not completed but nicely themed.TFCSL
Literally a park and grab. But what/why/ who put the bike there? There must be a story to it!
A great deal of activity going on with a digger and crew making its way along the edge of the road on the side we wished to visit. They seemed to be cleaning out the ditch so think the cache should survive for others to find. Nice piece of sculpture.
Passed this interesting feature many times but this is the first time we've stopped.
On caching with Aoraki Sheep.

On a long road trip to Tarras with Castlewood_Crew and Ingidayna to pick up my new car. Caching on the way back to Dunedin - sort of. TFTC Find 24/40
Nice quick find on way to Tarras from Dunedin and home . Found with Castlewood-Crew and CacheManChris 14/24 for the day. TFTC
On a road trip to Tarras with Ingidayna and CachemanChris to pick up a new car for Mr 16. Caching our way back home to Dunedin. Find 25/40. Nice quick find even as night falls:) TFTC
The name became obvious from quite a distance as we approached.
+ a marble, - nothing.

A quick easy find at an interesting feature. The tyres didn’t look too bad to us. TFTC
Headed out on the bike pre-dawn for a 30 cache raid on the Lake Onslow/Millers Flat/Beaumont area. Over the Old Dunstan Rd to Paerau and over to Lake Onslow. Saw at least three others caching in the area and played tag with one down the Millenium Track. She told me that there had been a caching event in Roxburgh the previous day which probably explained the number. Can of CRC and a 8" crescent and I reckon I could get that running again
Yep - park and grab. Rides like that are not my scene. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1996)
Cold evening and I got stuck in ditch had ask a local farmer to pull me out. Which was so nice of him at least he didn't ask me what I was doing there.
12 of 17 find for the day

Found on our first time caching overseas. We have just arrived home from 2 weeks abroad and enjoyed our trip around caching in New Zealand. TFTC.
I love these rural caches. You turn the car off & get out & it's just silent. Bliss! What a great country we live in! TFTC
working just across the road, so had to locate this cache and mark it off my to do list. TFTC
We've passed this spot before and thought it was interesting, good to grab a cache here. TFTC
Way to go!!! Quick find. We were there late in the afternoon and the grass was still wet from the mornings frost. SL. TFTC.
No chance of missing this one! It's a bit of a whakapapa cache for us, since Mr Daywalk's mother was brought up in the yellow farmhouse just a bit further towards Beaumont.
Quite amusing to see something like this, well named cache considering the height attained.
Thanks
