I noticed yesterday when I ran a "my finds" query to keep my finds in GSAK up to date... it so happened that I was in the area this evening, so took a short walk into the scrub to retrieve the container.
The sistema's degraded to the point of the lid being very brittle, and the puzzle has definitely been forced.
Thanks for placing this fun cache, bubblezdee, and keeping it in play for so long. I remember the thrill of getting a tick on the checker in my first year of caching, and then that of working out how to get to the log.

I knew I was going to be geocaching in this area this weekend, so managed to get this one solved last week. Unfortunately the checker did not go green for me, but I was pretty certain I had the right answer and having perused some previous logs, it looked like something might be awry. A quick check with a previous finder (Thanks!) showed me that I did indeed have the correct coordinates and so we made a nice quick find at GZ. As others have said, a shame that the container at GZ was broken. TFTC!

A great puzzle solved during the lockdown 1 in Melbourne. A type of puzzle that I enjoy and quickly had solved. Never had time or a car to pick this up in the past. Up in the area for sport, and stunning weather gave us all the reason to seek it out.
A quick find, like other hiders the main part of the puzzle needs fixing as we didn’t need to complete the field puzzle. Great cache otherwise.
Solved this one awhile ago but had not come to find the cache. After brunch picking up post for the post office decided as the weather was nice to walk up the hill and see what was up here. Then remembered hadn’t come to find the cache yet so here I am. The water tank up here is pretty spectacular if you are into that sort of thing, covered in graffiti art. Pitty about the dumped spray cans though
Logic puzzles are not my forte, but with a little bit of persistent, I finally got the green tick. Yay!
Today we targeted two caches in the area. They were close by to each, so close in fact that we thought we must have made an error, but we had nothing to lose by checking anyway. Luckily we came in winter and didn’t have to worry about any wriggling sticks as we made our way to GZ.
We were surprised and rapt to find the cache, but unfortunately we missed out on the puzzle to open the container as the lid had been broken, making it now easy to access the logbook.
Thank you bubblzdee for a fun puzzle and bringing us here today.

Solved the puzzle but checker did not agree, so was ready to ditch this one. read some logs and decided to look anyway, and made an easy find. Field puzzle has been wet and bits have unglued so made it very easy to open. Gets a favorite from us.
40 mins of searching turned up nothing - will have to try again another day. I just want to know if I should trust the Geochecker or not!!
This has been on my "solved" list since the covid lockdown, so I was very pleased to be in the area today. I had CrustyK9 with me, but the signs stated that she was not welcome, so we took a walk around the streets before I went into the bush alone.
The cache was found just where it should be, but the container had me thinking. Unfortunately, I think one of the panels that should have been glued, is not, so my retrieval was made easier.
Thanks for the puzzle, and your work on the cache container, bubblzdee. A favourite point from me.

We drove down to Melbourne today for a family wedding. We arrived in the area with about an hour to spend. So what does one do to kill time? Go and find a couple of caches that are high on the "must do" list.
The puzzle was solved long ago, and as others had noted, we too got a different answer for one of the letters, but a bit of tweaking of numbers on the checker forced it to turn green. Today the cache was easily found. The lid of the outer 2L sistema is cracked and it is obvious that the puzzle box has previously been sitting in water as everything was very swollen and stiff. After a little while we worked out what was needed to eventually get it to open and now our name is in the log. TFTC and puzzle bubblzdee.

As we drove towards this one, we were surprised that we hadn't looked for it before as we had been very close not long ago and this has been solved for quite some time. There were some fairly ugly cache guardians blocking the way but eventually the container was located.
Not wanting to give anything away but this was very hard to extract as it was swimming in about half a container of water. Thanks for the puzzle and bringing us here. Glad it wasn't any hotter as the grass is quite long and dry.

So pleased to have found this one finally. Have been so close a couple of times but hadn't noticed for some reason. Had a little trouble with the container and have let the CO know. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
This one took me a while. I did the puzzle twice, getting the same result both times, before realising that my solution was in fact correct, but the geochecker is wrong! All good - I now had some viable coordinates in an area that I had passed through a number of times, although I had always taken the same path. This time, I had to figure out how to get to the right place - and discovered a new path! Still not smooth sailing though - a fair degree of overgrowth and underbrush hampered my progress, before finally locating the cache! Whew, I thought....however I had forgotten the nature of he cache - it is another (ingenious) puzzle. Took me a good ten minutes to figure it out, but I got there. This cache made me work for that logbook......and I loved it! Well done on a great cache.
Great little cache, and really enjoyed the field puzzle too.
Took us a little while to solve the puzzle but eventually the box sprung open and the logbook was in hand.
Unfortunately the pen had fallen from my pocket so couldn’t make my mark - see photo of logbook and container as backup. TFTC, bug dropped.

That was a fun puzzle and a nice bit of bush, i am enjoying discovering these hidden areas.
Logbook pretty full, cache in good condition.
First hike attempt post-lockdown, wasn't feeling great about fighting the traffic all the way to dandenong so stopped to get a couple that we'd previously solved last time we thought we were going to be freed.
Appreciate the handy hint that was left at GZ, not sure if that was intentional given how random the object is, but it did the job!
TFTC, really neat one to solve and find

Needing some fresh air I headed out for a few caches.
I little playing about at GZ and finally it revealed itself.
Thanks to bubblzdee for the placement and fun.

In looking for an outing for today, this looked like a good place to go, and it was. We came for a different solved puzzle, but seeing this was nearby we set about solving before we left. It turned out it was really close to the other GZ.
My daughter and I really like this type of puzzle and worked together to complete the tables and find the solution.
THE CHECKER STILL DOESN'T WORK, however we were confident with our solution. We were correct too. The 'boxy' puzzle at GZ was good fun too. The outer container does need a new lid.
We discovered a hut and rope swing nearby, and had a good walk finding some good nature and more caches.
Thanks for the great puzzle bubblzdee, a great cache all round.

Don't remember solving this puzzle but realised while in the are I had a solution saved so decided to give it a go. Luckily it turned out to be correct and we quickly found the hide. Only to realise there was another puzzle to solve. This was soon done. The box has a split in it and the log is nearly full. Suggest the box is replaced soon. Tftc
We finished the puzzle yesterday and headed out on our bikes to find it (even though the coordinate checker didn't give us a correct). However, we soon discovered that we couldn't take our bikes in to GZ. So, we came back today on foot. A bit of scouting around soon led us to the cache (and yes, the lid of the plastic container is cracked). The kids needed me to figure out the puzzle box and I did. TFTC!

It would seem the issues associated with this cache have been resolved.
The last log does indicate the container is no longer weatherproof - perhaps the 'local maintainer' might like to address this on behalf of the CO?

*Cache find # 11215.*
I had been looking at solving this cache on and off for years now but have never finished it off.
This morning for some reason it came to mind so I sat down and went through the puzzle a couple of times and came up with the same result but I couldn’t get the checker to agree with what I had come up with.
I was fairly sure I was in the right area so I decided to go for a drive to see if I could find it.
I arrived at a place I had visited 8 years ago to find another cache in the area and headed up the hill to the coordinates that I had worked out.
I left the trail and slowly made my way towards the prize and then I saw it, my coordinates weren’t spot on but they were close enough so that I was able to find it.
Then the next puzzle began but that wasn’t too bad at all and I had soon stamped the log book.
The lid of the container as seen a bit too much sunlight in its day and now has a crack in the lid, I have placed the container on its side to try and keep any water out but it will need replacing.
**Thanks to bubblzdee for placing this cache.**

I love these sorts of puzzles so this one was on my list for lockdown. Was great to get out to search and was thankful it was not buried deep in the bushes!
Thanks bubblzdee for placing the hide!

Having solved this one a while ago, I was a littler perplexed by the coordinates. But the checker said yes. Today I headed up to find a very nearby cache and located this one as well. Thanks for placing the cache bubblzdee and for the puzzle.
That box was great! Took me longer than it should have to open (overthinking it a bit). As others said the coordinate checker said it was wrong but coordinates dead on.
These types of puzzles are my fave. To have a logic puzzle mixed with my new fave activity and then to top it all off with a puzzle box gets a fave point from me! Thanks so much bubblzdee for bringing me to this spot and for the thought that has gone into creating this puzzle.
Solved this a few weeks ago (and like others, the coordinate checker said wrong, but we were sure our logic was correct). After finding cache, it took a little to solve the box and was able to sign. TFTC it was a really involved cache
Found with Michelle, solved a while ago but just had to commit to the walk out here. Enjoyed the puzzle and always a fan of puzzle boxes. FP from me.

Also struck out with the Geo-checker, but like previous cachers took a chance and found the goods. Nice little hill that I haven't been on before. Would be a great view to the East without those trees in the way TFTC
The geochecker didn’t work for me, but other finders have said the same and the coordinates were plausible, so I came here this afternoon. And found! And signed! Took a tb. Thanks bubblezdee
Visiting from Queensland and was excited to take our dad out for some geocaching yesterday. After a wet morning, we came inside to attempt a puzzle cache. An hour later, and we thought we had it sorted, so we head to our new waypoint. Nope, we got it wrong. So we employed some more help back at home, and when we all confidently came to a solution (the geochecker wasn’t much help) we put it aside for today. At last, the cache was in our hands. It took us a little while, passing around the puzzle box before we finally got pen to paper and signed the log book. We dropped two TBs, taking the one that was there. Awesome cache, great puzzles, thanks for showing us what Melbourne cachers are about!
Found with Pigfork. A great puzzle and a great cache, but the coordinate checker told me the correct coordinates were wrong, which really threw us for a loop (we were so sure!!). Nonetheless, thanks for the cache!
First find of the day on the way to Plenty Gorge for a walk. I needed this one for a couple of challenges I am slowly working towards completing and n0w0rries hadn't found it yet. After figuring out the way in (we found the far quicker and better marked trail on the way out, of course) we arrived at GZ. A group effort here with n0w0rries finding a little bit which was moveable and I giving it the smack which loosened things sufficiently to open the field puzzle.
The next couple of days and the past week were not suitable for a walk but this particular day had a forecast temperature of somewhere in the mid to high 20s just perfect for a walk. I contacted n0w0rries and nirgalagrin to see whether they'd like to get some exercise and both replied in the affirmative.
So we all spent the next few hours in the southern part of Plenty Gorge Park walking along the extensive bike trails and crossing over the creek a couple of times.
All in all a top day with both n0w0rries and myself finding 25 caches in total whilst nirgalagrin could only log a select few seeing as he had already found the bulk of them. All of us however could log two FTFs!

Big day out with leafotwind.
First find, on our way to Plenty Gorge.
It took us a few minutes to open the box at GZ but we managed.
Thanks for the cache, the puzzle and the walk in an area not yet visited.

This one was hard. The puzzle took quite a bit of thinking and a few attempts. Then I checked out the location of the cache on google maps. There must be a path, I thought. Nope. Off on a bush trek. Found the cache, excellent. Then half an hour later I am still trying to sign the log. No way was I giving up. I fiddled and fiddled and fiddled. I though I may have to humiliate myself and return with muggle husband in tow to help. This would be bad. So I fiddled some more and eventually came up with the right method. Log signed so all good. This is a brilliant cache on all levels.
Drove MIL to a party in Eltham with the deal I get to go caching while she is there. Rain has held off too: double win
A very tricky puzzle at the final, puzzle itself time consuming but not too hard! Youtube helped in the end after bush bashing through wet grass at night. But hey, we got there! Cheers and thanks

I knew I was going to be around the area today and so I decided to check if there were any caches in the area. This one was a bit tricky - I solved it, well I thought I did, but the checker said no. So I tweaked it (without much confidence) and tried again - still no and no. So I started from scratch using a different method and got the same answer as the first time. I tried the checker and again no. By that time it was getting late, so I gave up and went to bed. While out today I decided to try the coordinates that I got. I found the cache in seconds flat! Then it was onto the next stage. Yep. Seen this type before, but how did we solve it? I tried this and that and soon had it dismantled... nice!
Could the CO check the checker? My coordinates seemed spot on and the ratio of correct to incorrect checks on the checker would point to something not quite right.

Bit slow at work today so I decided to tackle this one. Logic puzzles are one of my favourites and I reckon im pretty good at them but this one...OMG. I printed 2 copies just in case i made a mistake. I tried 4 times, each time having to go print another copy and hope nobody noticed me up and down to the printer when there was no work to be printed! I gave up and when GeowifeE came to visit in my lunchbreak I gave her a go. All confident she breezed though it...until I hear "oh no", she fluffed it. Luckily I had printed her a spare to take home. Back after lunch and still all quiet at work so I thought id have another crack. This time I was more successful although I must admit I had to take a guess with 2 pieces of missing info. So glad to finally get a green tick...hope to get this cache on Sunday!
I saw this puzzle at home and decided to do the puzzle. It was fun and reminded me of the kind of exercise you would see at school. I tried it and came up with some coordinates I was happy with. Geochecker said I was wrong but that didn't hinder me. I set out at night after spending the evening with my grandparents. I came across a big huntsman and there were plenty of bugs around. I reached GZ and found the clever puzzle. Not over thinking it, I quickly had the log book. This was a really clever cache and the puzzle in the description was fun. Worth a try if you have an hour or so! Full moon out tonight as well, not as dark!
Long time to come and find this cache have worked it out a while ago. Stumbled across another cache that now we will work on how to solve as it's being a mystery. TFTC
Catching up on some late forgotten logs. Found with omegaman1971 while grabbing a few caches in the area, with having the puzzle worked out and solved it was a case of making our way past the gz today and going for a short stroll and search and we soon had the cache in hand. Thanks bubblzdee for the hide.

Love them!!!!!
But definitely took the long way to the cache.
Cheers for the cache.

I love this type of puzzle and find them logical, but often lengthy. Each entry on the grid has to be validated to make sure it agrees with the clues. Once ICW and I had worked through the calculations we hit the "click to verify coordinates" link, but the cupboard was bare! We got a "server not found" error message.
We were confident of our result and set out for our calculated GZ and soon found the cache. I didn't get a look in at the final test of dexterity as ICW quickly solved it.
Thank you for a great puzzle and a fav point from me.

TFTC, very quiet spot. Ninja Tortoise and I worked it out the other day, compared answers and off we went as checker didn't seem to work. Success yay!
I loved this puzzles, I wish there were more like this.
I had this nutted out in about an hour.
We set out today after school and loved finding this little pocket of bushland. The kids enjoyed exploring along the trail until GeoSon took a tumble, you would have thought the world had ended.
Really enjoyed this one TFTC

Wow I didn't read to the end before doing the last part of this cache! Yes, logic puzzle solved after a couple of tries. Then what a surprise! Real bush. No tame parkland like all the others in these suburbs. THEN another puzzle! In the end I had to go back to the car to consult with the Brains Trust. With a joint effort we opened the box to reveal the log, but in the end we succeeded! Boy that was tough! Earns a favourite point from me. TFTC
Have tried and tried to do this puzzle even though I love them . Checker not working so I have left it for a while. Back onto it today and have a lot of contradictions of answers .. what am I missing . Co owner has given me a clue but it's still not coming together . I'm bashing away on the iPad every time i do it in frustration. I Will get it one day .!! Just not today .!!!
Well I solved this twice. I wrote the puzzle carefully out in my notebook, I solved it and got a Red Cross on the checker. Darn. Wrote it all out again, solved it - flipped the page and was disappointed to see I had the self same solution ... Did the questions again ... D'oh! I'd recorded the wrong figure on one, and this time the checker said "woohoo" and so did I. Fast forward. I got to a local area way too early so I thought I would grab this while I had time. I went and found the second art of this puzzle. I squatted and fiddled with the thing.

Unfortunately while I was trying to find that, sign that and replace it all, in among all the slaps, a few of the mozzies got me in the plumbers smile.
Gah!
That's extraordinarily unsociably itchy.
Thanks for the fun and the extra effort with the container . Next finder- lather on the deet! Yep... Even *there*.

Managed to sit down a couple of nights ago and solve this one without too much trouble. On a rainy Sunday we set off to GZ with umbrellas in hand as the sky looked particularly grey. Fortunately we only had a light sprinkle which stopped as we searched GZ. We soon had the contained in hand and then the puzzle for the log book began. We pushed and pulled all the spots soon enough and soon the log book had our signature. wooohoooo.
Thanks for a great multi puzzle experience.

So accompanied by the hamfish, we set about our task.

I quite like these puzzles. Or at least I do at the point of completing them; they can be a tad excruciating *during* that process. I had come to visit some puzzle GZs in this area in May but apparently hadn't solved this one at that time. This evening I visited with OzHockeyChick and the hamfish and quickly found the cache. After that I relied on the mad skillz of my comrades for the penetration of the inner-most layers. Thanks bubblzdee!
I solved this logic puzzle last year. A few days later I visited this piece of bush and I signed a log that I found near to GZ. After going home to log the find I realised that something was not right.
Today I revisted the area and found the boxy puzzle that contained the correct log book.
I love logic puzzles and boxy puzzles, and today I earned a souvenir as well.
Thank you bubblzdee for these puzzles.

Enjoyed solving this one and was pleased to go find it today! Nice spot and certainly not been there before. I was happy to find it but of course I'd forgotten there was a puzzle to solve! Argh! Luckily didnt take too long amd logged about 3pm. Not the first finder here today! Thanks for the cache
On a puzzle collection afternoon with Jeckleberryandtedd and Charlibear10.
I had solved this puzzle some time ago but filed it away in a place unknown... Recently I went looking for it and thought I'd better go out and gain the smiley before I lost it again.
The walk to the GZ was lovely. No wildlife about today, most likely due to the freezing wind. Pleasantly surprised to see we had another challenge before us to get to the log book.... Took a few false starts before we gained entry when Charlibear10 made a breakthrough move.
Loved the cache and the location. TFTC.

TFTC.
Out with Tinkertraveller (and Geokid Charlibear10 who had wrangled a day off school) for an afternoon of collecting puzzles that we had solved between us.
This is a lovely spot where you'd easily forget that you are in the midst of suburbia. TinkerTraveller made the find, but it was the ten year old who opened the box. There's a reason she's not at school today, and this was it. TFTC. Love the box.

Nice mental puzzle and nice physical puzzle. Unfortunately I did one of those container puzzles yesterday so I got in pretty quick. TFTC
I am down from the ACT, visiting the folks in the Springthorpe area. This morning over breakfast, I spied this puzzle and decided to get it solved. I have always enjoyed logic puzzles, so had no problem working through this. Then it was time to take the dog for a walk...how convenient!! Problem was that the area of GZ meant that dog would need to go with partner, while I snuck off to retreive the cache. On arrival at GZ, I realised I still had a bit to do. Well, it was a nice morning, but I didn't have long until I had to rendevous with partner and pooch. It took a bit of thinking, but I got there and duly signed. TFTC bubblzdee.
Also, with a theme of the Flintstones and happening to have a Yabba Dabba Doo TB, it was only appropriate to drop it off.

Noticed this cache hadn't been found in a while and my eyes lit up when I saw the logic puzzle. Hadn't done this sort of puzzle since I was 10! Managed to impressively screw it up my first time so it took a few goes of going back to the start and working my way through it before I had a working answer. The cache was easy to find but I certainly struggled getting my hands on the log - that box was much more trouble than I expected!
Thanks for the cache, what a delightful excursion.

We were heading to the Mega and we only picked out one cache to nab on our way and this was it.
The puzzle was solved a long time ago so it was exciting to get the chance to cross it off our list.
After a pretty long drive, we parked as close as we could and walked in from there.
We had the Geo-grandson with us who was all full of beans but great grandpop couldn't get his legs working! Gave us a bit of a giggle but he didn't think it was funny at all
It was a great to see the actual cache and lucky for us (we have one of them) it didn't take long and we were signing our names.
Dropped a pathtag and took a yellow golf ball, thanks for the fun bubblzdee [^]

A quick detour on our way to our lodgings for the Mega
and needed a break to stretch our legs. With the Geo-grandson
in tow we headed off for the cache. My legs were giving me hell
and the grandson was amused at my struggle. To his delight it was him
that found that cache!
Thanks bubblzdee!

Worked the puzzle out this morning on my second attempt and then took the short drive to the parking location. After a bit of a walk I located the cache and then spent some time working our how to open it. I'm sure I had played with a similar container as a child but couldn't remember how to open it. Soon enough I had the log book out and signed.
Nicely crafted little puzzle box! After a visit a few months ago when I could not open the box, I returned today with a bit more time (and no rain) and got through within a couple of minutes. I was just focusing on the wrong idea last time. It took me a few months to get back to it as I am visiting from WA. Really enjoyed both the puzzle to GZ and the box, wish I could give a favorite for both! Thank you bubblzdee.

I had met up with a friend and his family for a walk in the park and some caching nearby. We had parted company when his little one had decided that it home time, and I continued on alone.
Knowing I'd be in the area, I had a crack at the puzzle last night, but towards the end of filling the squares, I found that I had a paradox. Obviously I'd made some fundamental blunder in my logic. My wife used to be a fiend for these types of puzzles, so I handed the solving work off to her, and soon she had some numbers which made the geochecker happy.
I made an accidental find on the way here, but then continued on to make this find. I then had a few minutes of additional puzzle solving before I was able to write my name in the log. This was a real treat of a container, and gets a favourite point from me.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

Love this cache on so many levels - definite favourite from us! I'd completely forgotten about these types of logic puzzles, and so finding this cache brought a flood of memories back. I used to buy magazines dedicated to these puzzles. Such a rugged park right in the middle of the estate was our next surprise - I hope this area is conserved in the future.
Finally - the container! What a lovely piece of craft work. Very well done, thanks for providing such an entertaining cache - our 18th of 30 caches for the Mystery Cache Monthly Challenge (GC5MTHY).

A lovely area and a nice quick find, but then it took me about 5 minutes to open the box containing the log book, a very cleverly constructed bamboo container.

Found 11:21, whilst looking through our database to find a suitable puzzle cache with which to finish off the "Geocaching Road Trip", I discovered that we had solved this one some time ago but not gotten around to actually going out and finding the cache, so today was the day
Great cache container we love these
TNLN, thanks bubblzdee.

Well I solved the logic and my 9 and 10 year old geokids opened the puzzle box. Great team effort on our behalf. The kids thought the box was awesome, thanks for the mystery.
I had a day off so what better to do than to clear up a few caches. This was my sixth cache for the day. I had solved the puzzle a while go but never seemed to be in the area. Today I was clearing a few caches in the area so I had a chance to attempt this one.
A quick find when I got to the GZ but I was delayed in signing the log as I took a few minutes to get into the box. TNLN. TFTC.

Yay finally got it!! Solved the clue a while back and got to GZ only to be defeated at the end - until I got home and then the penny dropped - why is that???? So finally got back there and success - thanks really enjoyed this one
I found a wet and dirty log book on top of a tree stump, at the edge of a track. I think that this needs attention or is it old rubbish. I placed the log book under the stump.
I am not really sure that I can claim a whole smiley for this one.
I solved the puzzle a few nights ago as logic puzzles are a favourite of mine.
Today I was passing nearby so I decided to take the final steps to signing the log.
As I walked up the track I saw a log book and pen on top of a tree stump. I presumed that this was the log but it was not in it's container. I looked around the area and could not find anything else. I was very disappointed and I hope to visit the cache again when it is fixed.

A double puzzle! 11 years ago someone taught me how to do this type of puzzle. At the time I borrowed a book full of them to practise with. And that mental exercise paid off to help me solve this one. And I see that there's are other similar geocache puzzles out there.
At GZ my companion opened the boxy object and I signed the log.
The cache was a bit exposed so I spent some time covering it with all the nearby bark. To the next geocacher the bark pile will be a siren wailing 'cache here!'.
Tks bubblzdee!

Very disappointed to log a DNF for this cache... Enjoyed solving the puzzle back home in Perth before coming over to visit family. The cache is located in a great nature reserve and was an easy find, and I am pretty sure that I worked out how to open the puzzle box, however I couldn't get it to slide... I shouldn't have left it for our last day in Victoria as my non geocaching hubby could have come along and provided a bit more finger strength... Will have to wait a few months until our next visit. Thank you anyway for the puzzle and the walk bubblzdee.
Found this one as the last little bit of light was leaving the horizon. This is my 29th mystery cache for the month, so I was keen to get out and do it. I probably should have waited until I could get here at a more reasonable time, but I was wanting for a few days to get here.
It was a short drive from the Uni where I was, and I brought a non-geocaching friend along. She was keen to see what it was about, and I was glad to have her in the end. She was quite useful with helping to solve the puzzle box. Eventually we got it open, then made the trip back to the car with our phones lighting the way. Solving the puzzle box definitely increase the feeling of reward we got from putting our names in the log.
I come to the forest on occasion, as it is so close to La Trobe Uni. It's always relaxing to be in there, so I'm glad there are a few geocaches to get people to visit.

Came today and finally replaced the box for a new one. All shiny and ready to go.
Always liked this type of puzzle. Got an answer and double checked it with the clues but the checker said it was wrong. Checked clues again and seemed OK so, since I was looking for another cache in the area, decided to try anyway. Found easily so I must have had the right solution- the container wasn't camouflaged at all. The puzzle container was broken so was easy to get into. Did put some covering over it before I left.
This reserve and two others nearby used to be managed by Latrobe University but the 2 Greswell reserves are now looked after by Parks Victoria. I belong to a friends group for the reserves and have spent some time in them removing woody weeds.

1952CF ~ Visiting family in Melbourne, over from UK again, and having a good Christmas & New Year. Because of lack of good internet while over and saved caches on device, only catching up on logging now, sorry for delay CO's. ~ The Lad.
After a very long, busy night I got up and just needed a break, and while out for a walk, I sat down at a bench not too far away in the shade, after awhile I had what I hoped was the final GZ coords.
Walked to GZ and soon found the main container and opened it up, and then smiled. I have one of these types at home, so thought I knew what to expect. Sadly it had been damaged before and was difficult to open. I broke into it, and after signing the log, discovered why I couldn't open it.
A new container is on it's way, and I have informed the CO of the case. I have since then brought Loopygirl105 with her mum to GZ, and shown them it's location so once the new container has arrived, will be replaced.
It can be opened the proper way, but after previous damage and what I had to do, it will be getting some TLC.
TFTC, sorry for the damage, but for the puzzle and the box, have a well deserved FP.

I was planning a trip to this area so thought i would give this puzzle a crack. I remember struggling with these as a kid but I solved one recently for a cache in Adelaide so I was feeling confident. It didn't take me too long even allowing for a silly error on my part that required a little back tracking. A very pleasant area to visit and no problem making the find at GZ. I sat down to give Geobaby a break and to work out the puzzle box. Took a while before the right moves fell into place and I extracted the log. Signed log and grabbed the 2 TBs to move them on. Thanks for the cache bubblzdee. A favourite point from me for the clever container and additional challenge in the field.

Think inside the square
To get you there !
Think outside the box
To see how cache unlocks !
Logistics of this boxy logic task
Could we open it real fast !?
Extra happy to say
A well earned smilie today !! [^]
Solved before leaving NZ, but knew the final cache could be tricky. We were apprehensive as we approached GZ but really excited that the cache opened easily for us. A great puzzle and cache, gets a favourite from us ! If not for geocaching, we would not know areas like this existed. Lots of tiny K9s with big yappy barks nearby.

This was a roller coaster ride of emotion right from the start to the finish.
I was:-
-ecstatic that I solved the logic puzzle after many years of failed attempts.
- happy that it was close to my grandsons' house because I was baby sitting today and had the chance to get it on the way over.
- surprised to see bushland in suburbia
- anxious about where to park and enter the grounds
- enjoyed the short walk to GZ
- happy to locate the cache so quickly
- horrified when I realised that there was another puzzle component at GZ.
So I sat on a nearby log and pondered my predicament. I twisted, turned pushed and wobbled and worried about what to do next. I have been taught and still teach never to force anything. ( somebody has though.).
Suddenly something worked - but not enough. It took a few more minutes before the log was found and signed.
Whew! Completion and finalisation of this challenge.
Loved most minutes (hours) of work involved with this hide. It has earned a favourite point for all of the above reasons.

We enjoy logic puzzles and this was no exception but we did have to maker a second attempt as we made a silly error on our first try. Today, in 32C temperatures, we made the short walk to GZ where accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks bubblzdee for an enjoyable puzzle and for the cache.
After attending the nearby geocaching awards event today and after bidding goodbye to Stemicmitsar after a couple of finds, I headed north to a few solved puzzle caches in the area to fill in my afternoon since I have never come over to this area of town for caching.
This one I spent one of my lunchtimes at work nearly solving and I stuffed up one thing and didn't get a good looking GZ. A workmate pointed out my stupid error and a much better GZ was found, parked nearby and wandered in to GZ to find the next puzzle which I totally forgot about since I had solved the main puzzle.
A little bit of spinning and studying for a few seconds and I had the very cool little container opened, the log signed and I was away.
Thanks for the cache, the puzzle, the hunt and the fun.

it opens easy enough..... no need to use the pen to stab it!

After competing in a nearby golf tournament, it was a good opportunity to grab a few nearby caches in an area that I had not visited before.
When I knew I was coming to this area I spent some time working out this puzzle but needed some help from a previous finder to finish the puzzle. A nice walk to GZ but due to the recent windy weather, had to hurdle a couple of fallen trees. A quick find and I had seen one of these boxes previously but unfortunately a previous cacher must have been a bit rough with the cache. I noticed that a maintenance check has already been logged. I signed the sheet outside the log.
Thanks for this very challenging puzzle and the cache.

Log container is jammed and an end piece is broken.
Hopefully it can be repaired, cheers Phil
Hopefully it can be repaired, cheers Phil
Had solved this some time ago and finally got the chance to head this way to see if I could find it.
That proved the simple part. Unfortunately I have to report that the container is jammed shut and one of the 'keys' has been broken off. I have a couple of these containers at home, and once had a cache in the Marsh using this exact method, until it disappeared after numerous repairs..........
I've signed the sheet outside the logbox, and will log a needs maint shortly.
Shame that a previous cacher has been a bit too rough in their extraction.
Thanks bubblzdee
