While in chch for a few days after the mega event in Dunedin i caught a bus into town and spent a day in the inner city and then the next day used son's car and visited other cache not too far away . At first i was at the wrong concrete post but it was soon located , signed and replaced to its hide . Thank you for this cache and i took nothing and left nothing .
I've been here before apparently. Many years ago. It's not familiar to me today. Logged again anyway. Container damp but log dry.
I am staying in Christchurch with a geocaching friend for an extra long long weekend. But her family are NOT morning people, so after the three S's and some breakfast and still no sign from the rest of the household I grabbed the keys and headed out the door.Normally when I see two DNFs I think there is a chance that the cache might be missing, but with recent yo-yo finds and DNFs I suspected this is more tricky than average. But no, not really.Alas the log bags are a bit big and the last finder did not take care and so was sticking out through the seal. Which meant the seal didn't. Which meant a lot of water in the container. Great containers, these, but they do require people to be sensible. I drained the water out and luckily found the log was still good. Put it all back together with more care than the last person and returned to its hide.
Spent about 20 minutes trying to find it sadly to no avail it's either in a really good spot or it's gone.
A perfect afternoon in the park. I found a geocache about 5 m from my Ground Zero, but it was exactly as described in the hint. Thanks for the fun!
Find number 5 today.I spent a bit of time in the wrong place before diving in and coming up with an immediate find.Cache in good shape, and there was enough room in there to drop a couple of trackables. TFTC Nessenoo. With most of the pressing preparations for Christmas Day out of the way, and a few hours before family are due to visit, I jumped on the bike for a quick tour around Casebrook and the neighbouring area to get some caches.A bit hit and miss today. Some easy finds, some DNFs. The main drama was misplacing my glasses and having to backtrack a few times before I found them under a bush. Could have done without that drama, but happy for the lucky find in the end. Thanks all COs. Bigger caching days to come hopefully.
We have found it a long way from it's coordinates so we have placed it back underneath where it should be. Let's hope it stays there. Happy finding.
Took us a while to find this one.
I was about to give up when I spotted something a few metres away from where we had concentrated most of the search.
I think the original hide is dead/bare as we found it under nearby shrubbery (tussock)
Container and contents are safe, dry and in good condition.
TFTC

Went on a Geocahing spree while on call with a friend (who was also caching)
Went back after loging a DNF and I found it instantly XD

Bit of a search, and then, how could I have missed that?!? As the last log days, log is soaked. Cheers!
Drowned cache, container and plastic bag with log was full of water. I think last finder didn’t close the container properly. Make sure to cover the cache afterwards
Found a poo bag hope that wasn’t it, it was saying I was right in top of it still can’t see it
Great first experience of geocaching! So fun! My son wanted to go look for another one straight away.
Was so looking forward to finding it but alas after a lot of searching it did not happen.
As we explore playgrounds (and cache locations) around town, we were pleased with this one. Nice container, in good condition, as the logbook. Lots of trade item, difficult to choose one. Thanks for hiding this, it was a bit tricky to retrieve and replace, but didn't get to many scratched on my hands.
That was tricky, but found just tricky to get out from hiding place! Don’t over think it! Looked like a mad mad climbing in bushes when it wasn’t necessary ha ha
Nice spot. Tricky to extract, choose you approach wisely or be ready for scratches up hands and arms ha. Tftc
Easy find. Don't get confused with the white rock and the tall tree. I took that as stone collum.
I keep checking it every time someone marks a DNF and i can confirm it's definitely still there. Keep lifting the leaves, stick your hand right in the middle if you have to
Awesome cache! It was hard to find amongst the branches and thick leaves, but we found it!
Betty's wee bike found her way all the way down to the South Island a few days ago, now she will continue her journey from here.
A quick detour to get this one on a dot day. All good here. Had to dodge the dog walkers. Busy little area.

This time it was an easy find. Was definitely not hidden like this the last time I came around.
Nice park and beautiful colourful autumn leaves.
The container is also pretty cool with that latching mechanism.
Kia ora! Paldies!

Took a trip down my cache to deliver this bug after working in Auckland for a few months!
Still there!! After some searching i found it. someone had put it back a few meters away in a different foliage. Please ensure you return me to the exact place you found me!! Help us to continue the fun for all.
Only DNFs around Northwood for me today...
A shame as I'm specifically hunting for the Victoria Falls natural wonder and this is the 2nd DNF for a cache containing it...

I have oiled the hinges and gave it a bit of a clean. Ready for the next geocacher!
logging this as a find, however, neither of us could physically open the cache container. Very frustrating!! Lyttletonwitch took a photo of the find, you can delete the logs if you feel the need to. Will put a watch on this to see if we were totally dense - or there is an issue with the container. TFTH
Found the cache easily enough but we just couldn’t figure out how to open it and didn’t want to break it. Took a photo with cache in the hands of Busypaws and I will email the photo on behalf of both of us.
Hello!
Our cache is definitely still there. Hasn't been taken. I checked it at the beginning of July and beginning of August and it's definitely there. I have recently made it easier within the small area it's in to find but still at the same co-ords.
thanks

Was unable to find this Geocache, the owner likely needs to do a proper check themselves of where it was originally hidden, it has also been marked as Needs Maintenance by another Geocacher, the owner also said in the Geocache description that it has had a history of being stolen.
Great for the kids to find and a nice surprise for the owner of the cache to be walking past at the time to help give them a hint!
We were in Northwood last weekend cleaning up as many caches as we could, but came back again today to get Slitherlink Laves. Noticing that _Spring Water_ had just been reenabled we dropped by. It took a bit of ferreting around in the leaves, after which we can clarify that "left" means left when facing away from the park towards the road. Opening the lunch box was quite some effort. We added a plastic bag to try to keep the log dry, as it was rather damp. This is a delightful little reserve. Thanks for bringing us here!
I have finally found the right kind of container as well as the time to go back and place my cache. Sorry to everyone that may have missed out on grabbing this while I had disabled it. And thank you for reminding me that I needed to put it back! All back hidden where it belongs. Nothing I can find will stop it getting wet unfortunately. Happy cacheing
Needs maintenance obviously so will take it away for a few days til I dry it out and replace the log etc
A nice easy find here. Unfortunately the cache and the inner bag were full of water. The log is sodden but usable. TFTC.
The kids loved this one! thanks for a great geocache, the box is in great condition still - no water damage.
This was a surprise location to discover. Great co-ords and I was rewarded not with a tiny container but one that is a decent size. Had a bit of water in it which I tipped out but the log was good and dry so now it has my name in there. Thanks Nessenoo.
I forgot to log my other two attempts but I finally found it! Went with my bf when it was dark (not the best idea) and looked in a place that I’d skimmed over before and there it was! Forgot to take a swap with me to leave there so I’ll go tomorrow and leave one. TYFTC!
Tftc. Found with Unbrokensoul1011 while on our nightly walk. Was the second time we went looking for this one. Determined to not give up.
Just checked the cache and it was definitely still there! Might have to lift foliage or bushes if you can't spot it. It's not has hard as you think, the container isn't small.
This was my first geocaching adventure, and either the cache has been stolen or I haven't quite gotten the hang of this yet! I'm disappointed but not discouraged
I have returned and replaced the log book and cache. Please let me know if it's no good. Should be alright for over the summer. Happy finding.
The whole cache was full of water, my attempts at getting a good waterproof container has failed once again. I have removed it, dried it out and i'm in the process of getting new logs for the spring and summer months. Hoping for less rain this time maybe?! No promises in Christchurch these days!
