Travelling around Australia with our Cat.

Staying in Dunolly we made sure to visit most of the caches here in town.

This was a quick sneaky find not many people around so we were able to get this one and sign and out back with out any muglers tftc great 1

Sat around here for a while with Misschief18 waiting on a muggle to disappear and then give this one a good go, we ended p doing phone a friend as we could not find it but it was a slightly higher terrain then we were thinking. We finally got cache in hand and after signing got it safely back.

Found with The 2 Wanderers on our way home after a weekend in Wedderburn. We sat and listened, and then we sat and listened some more. We waited for a muggle in a car to finish her phone call and then eat her lunch before driving away. Eventually phoned a friend who was able to help. Wasn't where we expected it to be or where the GPS was taking us. TFTC

Sat here for ages , two reasons - one, a muggle in a car wouldn't move on and two couldn't sight the cache. With some help from a fellow Geoer we were able to sign the log. Thanks

Suscoe's 13th find of 34 for today.
The weather has improved since yesterday and while there was some cloud, the sun was often shining as we drove the road to Dunolly and beyond.
Well we were very pleased to see that this spot was completely empty of muggle folks and that the surrounding streets were empty too.
So we were able to search with no problems.
The cache was soon spotted.
Thanks to tigersden for placing this cache here, a beaut spot to sit and listen.

Spiffy- and I were on a project to get 500 caches in 4 days that were over 100km from our home locations. We picked this one up on our way into town and was originally worried as it had seemed to be tricky based on other logs but we made a quick find. Thanks to Tigersden for the cache.

Took some looking but finally found it.

Project “Centroid” road trip continued today...after a bit of planning Fleabag and I decided to head towards Adelaide again for the long weekend to get 500 or so caches to move our centroid far enough away from home to complete a challenge cache in Melbourne. We managed to get 501 just for good measure.
Today was the long return drive via the north of Victoria to find a few more LGA zones for a challenge cache back in Melbourne so it took about 12 hours to get back with the diversions.
Was a bit concerned we wouldn't be able to get this one due to the amount of "muggled out" logs so we got one just outside town. Being a public holiday, not a soul around so the find ended up being easy.

Great little hide this one. I didn't do too much listening but definitely engaged a bit of looking. After sitting and looking for a while I thought to myself, hey that's where I would hide the cache. Sure enough I found a magnet... After some novel use of my pen I finally had the cache in hand. Thank you for the cache tigersden

I whistled to see if it would whistle back.

All I could hear was the sounds of the market muggles and traffic [:o]

I searched the spider web encrusted undersides of the sitting area, but could find nothing but spiderwebs.
I was about to leave when a good hiding place said "psssst, up here"

Sit and listen is what I did on my second visit here this week. First time was in a rush, and didn't look hard enough. Second time I reckoned I had it figured, but a muggle arrived and decided to sit with me to have a chat. Very interesting stories of the area, but again meant I was out of time. Today the quiet town was remarkably busy for my short experience of this place. I'd collected la mina from his hpv competition at maryborough and we were waiting for our lunch to cook. In between the drive-by and walk by muggles we made a quick grab , sign & return. Tftc, and the overall experience.

Out today to try and pick up some playing card clues for tigersden's Gin Rummy cache (GC2KNEQ). Only managed to find a couple though during my 241km trip with 27 caches found. I am sure tigersden won't mind me writing this in all cache logs, because most of them were theirs.

I sat and looked rather than listening and lo and behold I spotted a hidden cache. And my 500th find! Thanks tigersden.

Found this cache, for those of you looking for a hint 'look up' TFTC

Out caching with Fergzter on the way to the Wedderburn Event. It was very quick to find when we looked in the right spot. TFTC.

Find Number 3 out of 35 for today as myself and LionJRB headed to the Wedderburn Event. This one took us a bit longer than it should have. We read the cache description a little too literally. After we got off our collective backsides we quickly located the cache. TFTC Tigersden.

This was found on the way home from the CVGT VI event in Echuca. I was keen to make the most of some dedicated caching time. The weather was perfect and I wasn't troubled by muggles at any of the locations.
This was find 23 of 35 for the day.

Would be a trick if there were people here. I'd guess it'd be school kids. Happily was all quite and I was on my way.

Hi, find no 2.
wqe found this at approx 1230 hrs. we had to sit for a while, search the area, few people drove passed, eventually sat down and found it.

A took your advice and sat a while, the sun was baking my head and it took me much longer than it should have to locate this one.
With the thought of a cold beer after completing this cache, my 12th for the day, I was getting frustrated.
Was very pleased when I finally uncovered it.
The cache is in good order.
Thanks for the challenge.

Found it together with omaster and membsec on a geocaching trip to Dunolly. Found quickly and easily. TFTC

It was time for an afternoon of caching so off lenicka.second, membsec and I headed up towards Dunolly to do the caches. We found a lovely set of caches and managed to do all the planned in the time we had set. TFTC

seen some trees with beautiful flowers on them just near the zone would like to have identified them very unusual, nice spot for us to have a rest found cache quickly then went on our way for another find

Took a seat and listened, could hear some birds chirping and cars passing by, cache then located, log signed and back into the geomobile to find a few more caches before heading home. Thanks Tigersden

We were first to sign the new log. Yay. After finding the cache we returned after lunch to sit and have a cuppa. We did notice one muggle who must enjoy getting out and about on his motorised scooter.
