A quick caching jaunt on the way back to our Airbnb after dinner. The second most troublesome find of the evening but mainly because I didnt place enough faith in my GPS. Exploring a little further along I spied something a little different from the others. Thanks Riser5#5562
I am taking advantage of an extra long weekend to visit my parents, up north, for a couple of days. I decided to take a detour along Cemetery Road and collect the caches along here. I parked up in the cemetery and crossed the road to access this ground zero. I quickly spotted the hide for a super quick find. The base is no longer attached to the container as the latches have come away. Cheers for the cache placement!
TFTC (13) Getting back in to the game. Beautiful spot. The tree memorial is always a soft spot for me.
"that doesn't look like a real rock mum" miss 5 well done! Thanks for the hide a lovely find just down from the inlaws
Had to do a bit of reading of previous logs to narrow down the search
The container has fallen to bits. You don't need to move any stones, just stand back and look

Quick find by Ⓑarefootguru Ⓘnfoferret ⒸrystalFairy, nice wall, thanks Riser5!
Final day (3) of our three day Geocaching trip to Whangarei. This stage included a large loop to the West of Whangarei picking up solved puzzles and then heading south getting some of the most northern caches in Auckland and then heading back to the airport for a flight back to Wellington. It rained on and off through the morning and some caches were done in pouring rain whilst others were in gaps in between. We signed the log as BIC for BFG, Infoferret and CrystalFairy.
Next up was the MM series. Quite a few DNF's but could have been due to rain that we didn't find them. Luckily some of them were "inside" and so we had a reprive from the rain. Thanks for the puzzles and series..
Quick find.. Please don't destroy the wall in the process of finding it..

10:37 Final day of a 3 day expedition to the areas north of Auckland with Crystal Fairy and Barefootguru, most logs signed as BIC to save space and time. The focus of the trip was to find a number of puzzle caches solved over the last couple of years, plus other caches of interest we passed. The rain has arrived with a vengeance, so being somewhat selective in the ones we stop for & how long we search...
TFTC Riser5 for placing this cache, number 11970 for me.

We had to drive out this way to visit a knitting supply store, so I was allowed to grab a few at the nearby cemetery. TFTC.
The Narcissus were in full flower and the sun was shining as we came to check out the cemetery and pick up a couple of caches. Tftc
Spotted the cache camo straight away. Easy park and grab. TFTC Found with Yvettetb
After checking out the church up the road I headed down here on my bike. Nice hiding place, TFTC
Last on the loop and that makes the targeted 5 finds today. As we approached there was one thing that was different and that was the cache. Nice camo and container here.
A Sunday trip up to Whanagarei area to drop off some birthday presents for grandchildren upcoming birthdays, and Easter eggs and general visiting and hanging out. I'd put a few options into my phone in case we got a chance to cache and towards the end of the visit there was a marketplace collection for our daughter so me Kylo, Jaylen and their Dad Ed jumped in the car to do the tasks. Also managed 5 caches including the almost obligatory Riser5 caches, just another 4 towards the century of finds of his, yay. All good and thanks to the COs.

Managed to find it further down the wall than my first attempt. Cache in great condition. Found while in whangarei post daughters surgery and waiting for her to be let out. TFTC
As a visitor to this region this weekend, I’m fascinated with these lovely rock walls that are all around. Quick find, easy to spot.
Came up to Whangarei to drop my daughter back and, although it was much later in the day than originally planned I decided to do a tiny bit of caching before heading back home. Thankfully this was a quick find. Replaced as found. Thanks for placing Riser4 and MiniMaxy.
Great to finish with an easier one!
After spending a long time searching in vain at the other stone wall!

Another wall crawl here but the hunt not nearly so long. Tagged. Cheers Now lets move on.
Monday - New Years Eve - day seventeen - Whangarei - Dargarville - Whangarei today in Toby. Zara gets another rest. So lets go exploring!!
Its another epic 3+ week geocaching adventure with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and William to the Far North. What an amazing place to explore. Lots of walks, gravel roads and sand. Lots of amazing trees, beaches and interesting POIs. Lots of kilometers traveled by vehicle and foot. Vehicle breakdowns, making new friends and catching up with old friends and family. Snagged a couple of FTF's, lots of lonely caches and the odd event along the way. Lots of cache maintenance and replaced caches on this trip. But what an incredible adventure!!. Thanks to all the CO's who have made this trip so memorable..

Bit of a wall crawl.
Day seventeen of an awesome, tiring, long, three week holiday geocaching with Taybeedragon in the upper north. Today: Dargaville. The whole trip comprised of hours of walking on sand, sliding down sand dunes, hundreds of kilometres of unsealed roads, car breakdowns, paddling out to islands, lighthouses, dolphins, goats, events, FTFs, weird boulders. You name it, we saw it. Lots of bisons, lots of cache maintenance, lots of sunscreen. A month is enough. I am glad to be back home. Except that now I have to write up my trip. We averaged just 20 caches per day, but that is still a lot of logging!
Happy new Planetary Orbit from the Seagnoid!

Went to visit Brian on the 30 year anniversary of his passing and visit my relatives as well. The hide caught my eye from a distance. Nice little trip.
Found this a little further to the left than I was expecting it to be but as soon as I saw it I knew it was the cache. Lovely and dry inside too. Not too much traffic around this afternoon which helped with signing the log discreetly. TFTC
A nice quick find during a pleasant drive around the area. Thanks for placing a cache here.
Visited GZ and found where it should be but couldn't find cache. Read previous comment and stopped looking after we realized. Not too sure if it's gone or not but will come back another time.
Out to visit family in Maungatapere tonight, so stopped off for another look for this one. Again, spent far too much time studying the wall near the avocado stand without luck and nearly ended up like the dead pittosporum behind the wall. Decided to widen the search area and almost immediately, there it was........ I obviously just didn't look far enough away from indicated GZ last time.

Looked for this one after finding the others in the cemetery. Checked out a couple of likely options on top of the wall, but unlike Vistra before me, I wasn't able to walk straight up to it.
Even though it was nearly 7 pm, there was still a fair bit of traffic and it felt very exposed walking along looking at the rock wall, so after 5 more minutes, I flagged it and will maybe try another day.
Thx anyway.

I was to meet up with some other cachers this afternoon to go for a wander around Barge Park. I had a bit of time up my sleeve, so I headed out to the cemetery to locate the caches there. Walked straight up to this one for a nice quick find! TFTC!
Found this a few months ago on an early morning run but I didn't have a pen on me at the time so I thought this would be an easy find this morning. No so! I hunted all up an down the wall for ages before I spotted it. Probably right where it was the first time I found it!
Parked up and had a quick scout, easy to spot as I've found a similar container in Onerahi. Was joined by hubby and mini-us on a family day out.
Spent a good 20 minutes looking along the rock wall. Hint not helpful as road reflector no longer there.
#508 Added a 2nd log sheet. Found it quickly this time except the skies opened up as I grabbed the cache. I had to dash for the geocart to wait out the downpour. TFTC(that makes it rain).
In the area after a funeral. Had a quick look and realised the hint no longer helps as the road marker is now missing. Then I got muggled by 2 car loads of family. Had another look and then spotted the cache. All good with it, just needs a new log sheet - sorry didn't have anything with me today. TFTC
Liked this cache container. Phone was out of batteries so had to use clues to find this. Worked well, thanks
The avocado booth was empty today and the road reflector is no longer there. Even with Pete, Liz and Jared looking for the cache we have to log a "did not find" as we didn't want to spend too much time pulling the stone wall to pieces.
Day 4 of a trip up north.
Good weather and plenty of nice caches to find.
Found this cache quickly.
Thanks for making my trip fun!

5.45pm. Just couldn't find this one despite an extensive look. The road is under repair but we thought we could see where the reflector had been. Plenty of good places however so I suppose we just missed it.

Very nice hide - couldn't find it first time but came back and found it 2nd time
Great little cache, hint is good because it still doesn't give everything away. Thanks!
