Last few people haven't found it, it might be gone. will have a look next time I can come into town.
Found it with a friend one time but couldn’t find it today maybe another time it may need to be investigated
Had a good look around, couldn't see anything. Think it's missing, unless I'm blind
Found after a short wander around. Not the 1lt sistema I was looking for! Thanks for the hide
Came for a drive to Portland with my Mum & sister, TT016 & Nana, hevwalker.

This was the last of the Heywood caches we had to find and used hint to make the find. Nice looking building from this side. TFTC
On the way through Heywood, this cache seemed the easiest to find. Hmmm...This one took way longer than expected but after a bit of time and lots of sweet we found it. It was darn hot.

What a cute little Railway Station! What a pity it's no longer used. Plenty of potential to make it into a tea room art gallery. Dropped off some swag. TFTC SL although is wet through.
Found on a break in the drive from Warrnambool to Hatherleigh on Sunday 2nd Dec 2018.
What a shame the trains don't run through here anymore. Thanks to the CO for placing this cache. Found, signed and tucked away again.

Apart from the fact that the container has shrunk from 1lt to about 300ml, it was a relative quick grab although the log was quite wet. Managed to sign the log. TFTC.
School Holiday time. I joined becca85, GemmaSistema, boo09, Ad & Luke for a roadtrip from Maryborough to Mount Gambier to the Glow worms and back again. So much fun. Thanks for the cache.
School Holiday time so we formed our Clarmensma family team and headed to Mount Gambier then home via glow worms for a mini road trip.
Lots of fun had on our trip. Sorry for late, generic logging. TFTC

Good spot for a cache.
School holidays yet again which means we form Team Clarmensma (myself, GemmaSistema, boo09, neisha07, AdamSistema & LukeSistema), choose a destination and off we go.
Mount Gambier was the chosen location this time with a 3 days trip, ending in a detour via the Otways to see some Glow worms. Lots of km traveled and caches found. A fun getaway yet again. TFTC

A double approach here where one spotted from one side and the other retrieved!
School holidays means a geocaching road trip for Team Clarmensma (me, becca85 and our 4 geokids - AdamSistema, LukeSistema, neisha07 and boo09). This time we headed west to Mount Gambier for a few days of exploring. Over the 3 days we did lots of kilometres travelling from Ballarat/Maryborough across to the Mount and then back via the Otways. We really appreciate all the teams who put caches out for us to find as without you there would be no geocaching! So many many thanks!

Found on another road trip with Dr Owl, this time focussing on multi's with other caches thrown in along the way.
Dr Owl found this cache while I looked in the other obvious location.
Thanks for the cache Marshall's Geelong.

Owl and Sushilord were on a south-eastern adventure. After breakfast and a few caches with Owl's aunt, they headed east in search of caching gold. This took some time to find the right access to GZ, at which point the Fish went off to search something he thought matched the clue, while Owl was more sensible and found the cache. (That's her story and she's sticking to it.)
I was just passing by. Nice easy one for a change.
The log book is wet, Unfortunately I am not travelling with my usual kit
so I couldn't fix it.

Cache had been totally destroyed and only fragments of the log were laying around .....so we replaced the cache. Its now a screw topped plastic container ..... cammo green. Inside is a logbook in a ziplock bag, a pencil and a couple of small swaps. Placed below the hint. Thanks for the hide!!
Completing a road trip with CPwanderer via Warrnambool,
there was no one here at Heywood Station today & no problems getting to gz.
But we were disappointed to find the state of the cache & decided to do our good deed for the day.
As CP had plenty of containers & logs to choose from, a replacement cache was soon placed.
Thanks for bringing us here Marshall's Geelong

Quick find. Logbook is in poor condition.
I caught a train here in the early 90s from mt Gambier. It was a stream train that ran from Adelaide to Melbourne via Mt Gambier behind R761. We stopped here for lunch on the local bowling club. Amazing trip and sadly confined to history with the lines no longer able to be used.
From Aarat we went to Ballarat and then via North Geelong. Out of Aarat the driver opened up the regulator and we were whizzing past cars on the adjacent Highway I estimate we were doing around 130kmh. Great trip.

Continuing my journey through Victoria to pick up caches for the Victorian LGA Polygon Challenge & Victoria Country Road Atlas Challenge. Manged to get another 2 maps ticked off and 6 LGA's. TFTC.
Great spot.
Then cache was visible and open. I walked around the other side of the fence as I could not quite reach it. Put back safely so the next cacher will find it not dramas.
Found as part of my 2017 Alexandra Mega experience. This cache added to the fun and enjoyment of my trek to the east and back from Adelaide. While there were a few thunder storms, there were mainly clear skies and I never saw a snake!
Thanks to Marshall's Geelong and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

No trouble in locating this little hide. Although log book is a little damp it is still writable. TFTC
Heading towards Mt. Gambier for the weekend picking up a few caches a long the way as we enjoyed the winter's sunny day. Enjoyed a quick stop here , taking a few photos and signing the log. Thanks Marshall's Geelong for the placement here in this historic railway station.
Easy cache, however it desperately needs maintenance.. very waterlogged.

This took longer than it should have, the hint threw us off completely, read back through the logs and found where we'd made our mistake. By now it was daylight, and the cache was an easy find after all. Muggle Hubby and I both laughed at the simplicity. Thanks for putting a smile on our faces, and another smiley on our map.
This was our first stop on the way home from the Portland event.

I was on the wrong side of the fence to start with. I made an assumption, and I was wrong. LOL. Never mind, a bit of extra exercise. The cache is fairly well exposed (sort of), but replaced as found. It would be fantastic to see this Station bought back to life, even if not used, just for historical purposes. So many of these sitting around now, just falling to ruin. Thanks to Marshall's Geelong for the hide, and for bringing me here today.
TFTC. We are camped at Sawpit for the few days before the Portland event. We have friends in Heywood, so what do cachers do enroute when they have time on their side? Cache of course. This cache was on our route. A quick and easy find, everything in good order.
As we were signing this cache a train came through the station and the driver waved to us, does he know about the cache we wonder. SL TFTC
We're on our way to the Mega at Alice Springs and traveling all the back roads finding some great camps along the way.

Found on our way home from a three day break in the Portland region. We initially went to the wrong side of the fence for this, but soon worked it out. Thankyou for showing us this old station Marshall's Geelong.
Took us a little while, but we eventually found. Thought it was inside the station, but nope, outside. Tftc
This find was a long time coming. We stayed in Heywood overnight for a family member's b'day so I walked over and found it. Since we had started caching I had wanted to get this one when visiting family but never had enough time to stop by.

Day three of my travels, heading back to Warrnambool from Mt Gambier, collecting a few caches along the way to break my journey. I found the cache container without any trouble, but it was open and the log book was on the ground. the log had obviously previously been wet as all the pages were stuck together, but was now completely dry. I also found some contents which I placed in the cache. I grabbed a plastic bag from the car and placed the log in it.
My thanks to Marshall's Geelong for the cache.
