Found during our NW coast caching weekend. We spotted the cache quite quickly but could not retrieve the log because the lid was stuck fast. TFTC
Sited cache but needed back up. Found help but stuck tight. Multi grips might be the tool needed. Was going to be the first for the day. Out with Heazle1 on my Tassie trip. Great hide.
Finally put this one to rest. Found easily this time around. All logs except a small piece of paper left by recent cachers were satched....so discarded. Needs a new log roll. Maybe a bison tube with log may do the trick. Enjoyed the hunt...many thanks FTC tattsus...Cheers.
Found it and had to come back to open it. Really screwed with our mind trying to get to it. Lol.
A reeally good hide! Walked right past it the first time, but then took a better look on the way back through again - saw something out of place and tried my luck! Unfortunately, the log has become wet, so I was unable to sign the log! TFTC though - a very good hide!
Found this cache as part of my and Geo Son E's caching and soccer trip to Burnie. Geo Kid E was playing in a regional cup in Burnie, so we left early and had a great time caching across to Marrawah and back through Burnie and Ulverstone areas.
Thank you for the cache
Found on the way home after three games for Geo Kid E. I had been here before and could not extact the log book. This time I came prepared

Took a little time and it was a bit muddy underfoot but found it and managed to extract it after using a hanky to dry the lid. Very good hide.
thinks his was the first find Of the day and one of the favourites well done on the camo
Our trip around Tassie saw us in and around the beautiful area of central north Tassie. On a nice day we started early after staying at the free campsite in Burnie.
A quick scratch around had the cache in hand. It's holiday season and plenty of muggles about, we were patient though. Easily opened and log signed.

Did not need any tools it opened easy by hand. The pen is not there so bring your own.
Well a dnf of a type. I found the container but I could not under do the lid. After leaving I spoke to white webs who confirmed I had the cache in hand. I will be back with a pair of pliers. Tftc
Hi tattsus
Actually found this cache on the 14th Jan 2013 but was unable to do the cache so thought it may not be it. Tried it twice that day.
On the fifth, tried it three times but again no success.
Just read your log granting permission for those who had found it to make a found log.
Claiming a find on that premis.
A great hide.
TFTC and cheers

I found this one a while ago. I have been back twice with tools to try ad open it but no luck. I have a photo of the cache to send as proof if needed but if that's not enough I will delete the log. Some maintenance might be needed?
Maintenance has been performed, sincere apologies to those cachers that were unable to sign the log. If you are one of the caches that found this cache but were unable to sign log, please feel free to log as a find.
After some back and forwarding and up and down (and up and down some more), we eventually found this very clever cache. However, we were unable to undo the cache to sign the log. With tattsus' recent blessing to log it as a find, I declare this one found and added to my favourite list. When we're in Burnie next, we'll sign the log, now that it has had maintenance.
TFTC tattsus!
TFTC tattsus!
We found this one, and it's very clever, but there was no way were able to get it open. We got a photo - would this do as a "Found" if we send to you as proof? We may not be in Burnie again for a while.
Found but couldn't undo even got a spanner oops I mean pliers then broke cammo and had to buy glue to fix, sorry. I think it needs maintenance regarding undoing. Great idea. Have photo which we send CO when we get to computer.

Bugger! I should have read the logs more closely before leaving home. Oh well, another time.
We just couldn't find it.
This was a cache was not found on Spreyton22's Thorne St to Bass Hwy expedition, July 2012!

A very clever cammo. Found it easy enough but almost had to return to the car for my pliers , ended up managing to get it open with my fingers. TFTC
I just loved this one! A really clever and fun find. I found it but needed some help from mr Geo.
Sneaky hide - we fixed the container (used some dip stick oil from the car) and replaced the log and bag. Thanks tattsus
First: Best. Cache. Ever! The thread on the lid could use a little grease or Vaseline. The log book in completely saturated, but could be dried out and rescued.
After a communication with tattsus confirmed that I was in the right spot, I thought I'd have another go on my way back to Hobart today. Took something along just to give me that little something extra...which combined with tattsus' check (which I think left it not as tight as it had been) I was able to easily unscrew it this time. Absolutely top-rate cammo, overall top cache tattsus! Thanks for the prompt check too, which meant I was able to get back to log it while I was up for the weekend. I may have logged it the 11th, but it was today the 9th, just don't know my dates.
Now that I've read the logs I'm sure I found it. I normally know how to unscrew a screwtop, but it was like it was unscrewing, but not coming out. Tried to help it along with the help of a key but didn't want to damage it, so no success. I don't know whether to go back with pliers or whether it needs checking.
Too many muggles on school holidays so could only do a quick search no luck this time
On a brisk morning found this one in no time what a great cammo. Although fingers didn't want to co-operate I managed to get log signed and replace cache quickly. Thanx tattsus for another well hidden cache
We were very impressed with this clever hide, great cammo and hiding spot. This deserves a spot on our favourites list TFTC tattsus
Back in Burnie for our 3rd visit this year. Great to find there is a new cache on each of our visits.
This one had us a bit intrigued as we set off to find it, guessing as to possible hides.
We were not disappointed. A great hide, and luckily no muggles about.
Congratulations tattsus on a great cache. Innivative and challenging.

Wow a fun cache to find. It pays to be observent to find a cache like this (and to hide a cache here) and i totally enjoyed spending my lunch break snooping around. As always I followed my maxim of not searching for caches in rock walls due to the destruction that caching causes to such features and I was relieved to discover that the hiders avoided the rock wall as well. Thanks tattsus.
Sensational - after two attempts at finding this hide, we finally found it. Very well done on the cammo made it very interesting. CHEERS
Thankyou for the great comments that have been left thus far! Landy_clan I would love to take the glory for this cache but my wife was the one that spotted the hiding place and thought up the cache, all I done was went for a walk with her and supplied the container and (lets just say something) for the cammo and she did the rest . We certainly wont make this our last cache, as we both enjoy putting out a cache or two and looking for caches.
We have to say tattsus YOU ARE THE MAN. WOW what a top hide. This cache is not only well hidden it has taken a heap of thought, skill and dedication to this thing we do, geochaching. Thanks for taking the time to think it through and make that top container. We loved finding it. Left a happy feeling for the rest of our day. All we can say is dont make it your last. Cheers tattsus, Landy_clan
Found it but didn't have a pen. Had to find a shop and buy one and then go back to sign the log. TFTC
After reading the logs we realized why we couldn't find this yesterday. We did have the spot - but yesterday it was only an empty hole. Great cammo. Thanks.
Hell's bells, what a drama this turned out to be...
It started off nice: lovely sunny day walking along the Shorewell Creek path to the cache. Had the GPS with me but didn't need it as I knew where to go, having walked this track many times. I do have an eye for detail so it didn't take long for me to spot the well-cammoed cache. That was when things got... interesting. Let's just say that the cache is very difficult for certain people lacking in certain... attributes. Let's just say I had a hell of a time trying to get the thing out. I was on my own and had no one to help me. In rapidly escalating desperation, I started scrabbling around on the disgusting muddy floor for sticks or something to use as leverage. I discovered a heavy, solid, rusty bit of bike part or some such thing and starting prying away with that, at the same time trying to be gentle so as not to damage the excellent cammo. At one point during my struggles a muggle walked by on the path, giving me a strange look. Well, that was embarrassing...
Anyway, millimetre by painful millimetre the cache came out, until finally the predictable thing happened... no, I wasn't hurt but it made the loudest noise in caching history... then I just wanted to get the hell out of there in case any suspicious muggles came around, so I wandered innocently back along the path a short way. And then... I realised I'd lost my pen! My precious caching pen that I've signed 500 logs with, noooo! In a panic, I retraced my steps, becoming even more horrified about how I was going to sign the log after going to all that damnable effort to get the cache; I started pondering desperate scenarios like maybe making a muddy fingerprint on the log or something like that...
Then I found my pen. So it was all good.
Well, not quite. Because then, you see, I couldn't get the cache back in its spot. Just physically couldn't. This dilemma had occurred to me during my efforts to extract the cache but I had carefully ignored it... till now. So, um, the only thing left to do was... run away!!!
Er, in other words, I took the cache home. I still have it with me, hoping to come back later today with some... assistance. So anyone who was planning to search for this cache today might want to postpone it. Will try to get it back as quickly as possible. Apologies to everyone. I wasn't even the FTF, either.

We will put in the description that cache has a screw top. That way other cachers wont have the same problem as hookline. So sorry about that hookline and after all that effort you were not the FTF .
No problems, tattsus, just glad the cache is back safe in its proper spot. Well done to 2y'stassies for the FTF. 7.00am in the dark is keen!!
Earlier this week we had planned a trip to the West Coast for today. Then this cache appeared on the alerts. Well, no option - had to look for "Under Pass" before heading west. After an initial unsuccessful search in the very dim area, we went back to the car to get torches - made all the difference at 7:00am. After a few minutes, something did look a little out of place. Yes, it was the cache but, in hookline's terms, only one of us had the attribute to retrieve. An excellent hide, very well cammo'd - well done tattus and thanks for the cache. Also, lucky that we got a FTF.
