Thanks to all and sundry... and to Team Rocket AU for playing so nicely.
GeoPilots and I, with the help of Team Rocket AU are planning to place a new, topical cache in the area.
If you could be so kind as to NOT take up this space with any new cache, it would be greatly appreciated!

It did seem wrong to be in the park this morning and not have fun
The fence of un-funniness was not going to get in my way
A few people passing by paid me not attention as I looked over GZ.
It was less than 10 minutes later that the cache appeared

Find # 4143 on a quick afternoon trip around town,
then met up with the Routers before going to a few more.
GZ was 11m away and the gate is locked so I was not sure if I should be in there.

Found it! I had my doubts about this one after seeing all the DNF's and I had driven past this one a few times but didn't hunt it because of all the muggles. I found the best way have the place to myself was to turn up first thing in the morning while it was still only 3 degrees or so. Trust me, nobody else was there. I only looked in 3 or 4 places before putting my hands straight on it. SL TFTC.

It is nice to have long-legged friends when you need them! Found with friends. TFTC
After playing "it must be there but how do we get there", we cached with someone who could "get there" and so found it. Thanks Apsley. TFTC
At last! Really read the clue this time and were helped by the long legged member of the team. TFTC
Our group decided that it wasn't so much a matter of sacrificing an arm or two, but maybe a leg. Long legs certainly helped. Our GPS's had us in no-man's land, but we used geocachers' intuition to come up with the goods after so many previous failed attempts

#46 in my quest to find 60 caches in one day to celebrate my 60th birthday.
We failed at this one this morning, but with a big hint from the CO it was in our hands in no time the second time around, and that is no yoke....Thanks Sr.

A most exerlent position, I am sure I would not have found it on this day if I had not been tutored by a team of seasond players. Thank you Guys.
Finally can cross this one off. I must admit a call was made to a previous finder for a little help. A great spot for a hide. Put my hand straight on it first time. SL TFTC

Finaaly put this one to bed ! we have been here a few times to this feature but this time put the hand in the right spot, thanx for sending me a little bit crazier, lol, cheers
Well I don't get this one - we read through all the logs and the listing for hints, found nothing at the spot where we zeroed out, and then spent a while going over the most obvious place to place a cache. Nothing for us today, despite having four sets of eyes searching - but this wasn't the only time today!
Alas, no joy for us. We had no idea where it could be. Co-ords put us away from anything from of note, and then we tried something else.
Caching gods not with us.....so be it.

As with Code1, my hours spent looking for this as a difficulty 4 left me quite certain that there was only one serious possibility for the hiding place... And now that it is difficulty 2, I found it in seconds in the second place that I looked. I too had made a very thorough inspection of this area on two precious occasions... Obviously not quite thoroughly enough to gain the FTF honours on the higher difficulty version! TFTC.
Finally....................I found it ..............and I believe an *FTF*
Had some spare time before picking up one of the kids from work so called in to have another go at it, the third visit and almost and a total of 90 minutes searching, not expecting to find it of course.
Imagine my surprise when I put my hand on it in the second spot I tried.
Now I know I had searched/felt there before as my hand almost got stuck, so I can only assume it has changed hiding spots.
Would be interested to know where it was originally.
Left a key chain to hold the log sheets together.

Difficulty reduced and cache re-located to suit difficulty. My little brother found it in about 20 minutes without the hint, so get hunting!!
Was in town with Smelly Belly 8 and after a good look around time run out on us and a council worker drove over in a ute to spread top soil near BBQ shelter. Will have to spend longer here next time.
JABs.

Checked the cache tonight under the cover of darkness, it was hard to reach (some probing must have pushed it higher), but I have short fingers. It's definitely there, and a little easier now. Don't give up and happy hunting!
With the geokids stealth mode turned on we searched and searched and failed to come up trumps
I'll add my name to the ever growing list of DNF's.
Dropped by and picked up Mr Router and headed for the cache site.
There was a few people with little ones about but didn't really take notice of what we were doing.
Had a good search, almost an hour, mainly of the only item within a reasonable distance of zeroing out at the listed co-ords that fitted the terrain rating and hint (our interpretation of it anyway) and came up empty.
Can the 4 difficulty be for the muggle factor or is it that well hidden.
Will return when the co-ords are confirmed as being accurate or a better hint is given. Even what type of container might help.

Another dnf, Code 1 and myself looked pretty hard, does it involve the steam engine ?
Apologies everybody, perhaps we placed it in a place that was a little too hard. We checked the cache today and it is still in place, it will be re-positioned but the hints and description will remain accurate. Happy hunting!
We looked , come back with new batteries, even calibrated the compass on the 60, still came to the same blinkin tree? crossed the fence and looked where the clue made sense still no good ?
Did you set this cache with a proper gps or by other means, because at zero the clue make NO sense, please post a note maybe additional clue.

Early morning second attempt.
Came to try those last two places that even remotely resembled the clue. Still no dice.
Is this single-cache alias just having us on?

Well I too can add my name to the list. Well in a way. Unless you are all girl guides then it is a DNF. I found a girl guide cache which I did write my name in. Hope they enjoy the note.
Will be keeping an eye on this one.

Shame... This was to be my cache of the day, but I'll join marto747 in a DNF. Spent a long time searching, but it was dark, so hopefully next cache will have better luck! Looked high, low, higher and higher still. Looked in, on, under, through, but brought up nothing. Even did as the hint says, but it wasn't nearly as fun as the CO suggests. (and now I smell something fierce! You'll know what I mean if you try what I tried!) I feel like there is nowhere left to look, but I'm sure this 4 difficulty cache will prove me wrong. It WAS placed sometime ago... Could it bs muggled before FTF??
went to check this one out after work, if anyone is thinking about climbing the big wire thing, don't bother. Found nothing, but i haven't given up yet...
