this cache needs some Maintenance as it looks like its gone
maybe the cache owner could make it magnetic to keep it out of the way of muggles

We accidentally disturbed a family of four snails when retrieving this, hopefully they find their way home! We took a dog themed trackable from the cache to introduce it to the geodogs back at home. Tftc!
Camped at the sports ground and enjoyed this beautiful little town on our way to Dungog for a ukulele ho-down. Took nothing and left a little jewellery pouch found near a GZ in Morisset. TFTC
We planned a roadside caching afternoon today, as master 3 year old was coming, then changed his mind! It rained anyway, so perfect park and grab weather, less muggles too.... Newcastle out to Paterson today, 12 finds and 2 DNFs. Great weather for ducks.....
We leapt out of the car in the rain, found the cache in the first spot we looked, and took it back to the car to open in the dry.... We dropped off 2 travel bugs to continue their journeys.
Thanks for a nice little cache horseybunch

Found with my Dad on our trip to Paterson.... The biggest container of the day! TFTC
Cool spot no one around this morning made it easy. I'm staying a night here in Paterson while working not far away. Tftc
There was a work crew repairing and repainting the old station when I arrived here.
Having stopped here specially on my way from Sydney to Dungog I decided to just go for it and walked boldly up to GZ, prepared to explaing geocaching and my presence. The workers never gave me a second look. Perhaps they're getting used to people grovelling around in this spot.
Quickly had CIH, SL, rehid cache and continued on my journey.
TFTC # 1375 Maybe one day I'll come out here by train!

Had breakfast at the Riverview Deck and then went over to grab this cache. Spotted straight away. Left some toys.
nice easy find today with team lewin - spotted it straight away no muggles today. thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
nice quick find thanks for the cache did this with aussie ben on a hot 40 degree day!
Quaint little station in a beautiful little town. Must give the train a run to Dungog one of these days. Tftc

Nice find, this one gave me flash backed from my early high school days. Used to catch the train from this station every morning.
Cute little station, thankfully no-one around, and I soon found the cache and added my name to the log. I note this is a single platform station with a second rail for passing, not sure I've seen too many railway stations like this is Australia. Looks like they have got a decent amount of stock to play with at the Rail Motor group across the other side of the rails. Thanks for the cache!

Decided to go for a drive out this way today and grab a couple of caches along the way. Had the place to myself which was good but the cache was an easy find anyway. After signing the log I put it in a new plastic bag as the old one was torn then replaced back where it was found.
Thanks horseybunch for this cache and a reason to visit this old station.

A nice easy find, which was good cause I couldnt get hints from my phone as no connection TFTC
Catching up on some caches done while on holidays.
I have been to this station quite a few times but haven't had time to do the cache. Today was a lunch break and rest on the caching day while we waited for a freight train that Trainsport wanted to photograph. Perfect timing to do the cache.

I had actually been out to Vacy to look for Don't Just Pass Through, but there were people watching me from across the street. On my way back I stopped under the train bridge and wondered why there was no cache there. Then I stopped here and found this cache, nicely tucked away.
Thanks for the country drive and cache!

Found on a Saturday afternoon after visiting the grandparents for Easter. Cache easily found as there was no one around the station but plenty down the corner at the tavern. TFTC!
Found at 9:25 AM GAFF1. Gosh "an opportunity to live in a train carriage.." That doesn't sound much like fun to me
Thanks horseybunch.
Thanks horseybunch.
TFTC. Found our third trackable in our possession at one time - wow!!!!! Will take down south coast of nsw.
Nice cache! Not sure what we took. Some people were looking at us weirdly, but we were acting as if we were waiting for someone.
Not sure what we traded.
Chuk and Chukymum found it.

1550 GAFF1 Almost able to find it with just the car GPSr, but still well hidden.
We were on our way to Mangrove Mountain and the Blue Mountains when distracted by a few caches on the way. There was a HUGE gathering at the corner of locals, right across the road, but no muggles in sight here
Left: a Correct Site Marker - surgical marking pen
Brought through for mileage: 3 Bros, Aust Light Houses, B 2 B ingot, I Bashed at MidWest 2007, Iconic Bridges, cache critters Baa, Neigh Neddy, and Oink, and N-JOYO TB and trackable shirt.

Reperio at 0920.
Headed out this way to pay a visit to Paterson and find a few caches as well...and it was a good time to be here as there wasn't a soul around. Pulled up and parked right next to GZ, and after a brief search the cache was found. I enjoy visiting these lovely old stations.
Gratias horseybunch.

A nice quick find. Had a look at the station while there, the plants look to be suffering from the heat.
Thanks horseybunch

The cache was located very quickly by Miss Shifter on our way home from a Guides camp at Brookfield where Mrs Shifter introduced geocaching to a group of Girl Guides.
Just when we thought that Miss Shifter was losing interest in geocaching, our trip to Port Macquarie and this weekend seems to have rejuvinated her interest.
Thanks for the cache horseybunch.

After a disappointing start in bolwarra, not wanting to waist a great afternoon the hunt moved to Paterson. Here we found our first of 3 caches for the afternoon. TFTC
I quick park and grab at a deserted station. Not sure how often the trains arrive but it was very quiet today. TFTC horseybunch, the cache is in good nick.

TFTC.
Just as i arrived at GZ it started to rain (just my luck).
Decided to do the dash and had the cache in hands in less than a minute.

It is indeed a pretty little station.
And never realised the tavern existed, although we've been to Paterson many times.

Nice hide, we were just about to go to the cache and bus full of people turned up lol..lucky was just passing by for a minute.
I ended up here on the way to Swamp Monster, so stopped here first. A quick and easy find, while checking out the carriages across the tracks.
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache horseybunch,
best wishes,

Our 5252nd overall find.
Sorry for the late log, life has gotten in the way of caching of late. We found this one heading to Dungog to visit some family. Shell didn't like the branch in the back while trying to retreive the cache...
Thanks to horseybunch for the cache.

We took a little detour on the way home to this lovely little station. The cottage flowers give it a lovely country air. We recommend a walk along the small platform just to check out the rather old padlocks that are still in use on all the doors. TFTC.
We thought we might be in the running for an FTF but GD__ had beat us to it. We've been to Paterson before a couple of times to find caches and it is a lovely place. A nice quick find at this lovely spot. TNLNSL TFTC
Dropped off TB and was glad to see that several people had found cache already!
Found today with the family while on a tour of the Hunter Valley.
This is a beautiful little station that I have previously been to as part of Steamfest when some of the trains ran to Paterson before going back to Maitland. Nice to see the old carriages being restored.
Mini Cash Man made the find here and ripped the cache open in excitment when I told him it may be a FTF but that had already been claimed.
Thanks horseybunch

After picking up a *FTF* in Greta I decided to head out here and see if this one was still available. A quick battery change and the GPS lead me straight to the empty log book. A nice looking station even at night.
Thanks.
Thanks.
