Accio 08:06:04The long drive Canberra to Brisbane, and a few LGA-stops around Sydney. Took a moment searching the wrong location before the hint made sense and cache-in-hand.Thanks soupbones for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12727}*
Nice find. Hard not to look suspicious pulling trust out inconspicuously! Lol.Log needs attention. TFTC
I was heading to Canberra for the night from Parramatta feeling uncomfortable with wet feet from caching this morning. Needing new hicking boots I decided a detour to the nearest Kathmandu to get them would make me feel a lot better. After grabbing the new boots before I hit the highway again I just had to grab a cache in the area first.Parking in the garden centre I was soon at GZ on the hunt. I didn't understand the hint until I made the find teh the penny dropped. how did I not see that.Thank you Team Soupbones for the smiley
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Bt. Logbook wet so we photo it.
Parked inside the flower power car park with a short walk over and a quick find too, thanks
Quick find using geosenses as coords were 4m out. Signed log and replaced as found. TFTC
Had trouble finding this one today. Will come back when there are less muggles around.
Finally made the effort to stop here Also headed into the shops for a poke around. Bought some mustard sprout seeds, as the chooks got out and dug up the garden Thought Id do the right thing. Its called integrity Wandered out to GZ and thought, I bet thats Yup, it sure is! Top a bit stiff but yanked and eventually it got off TFTC TSB Heres a **FAVE** for you. Nicely constructed. Seen lots of these in my travels
A quick find here, back in 2011 this was probably an odd ball hide! I guess it has become a bit more common these days, so I had my hands on it quickly!
Thanks, my last cache here before heading out onto the highway to continue south!

I had a DNF here over 10 years ago (I didn't think it was that long ago!) and it's been on my mind every time I've been into Flower Power.
Today was the day for another attempt before going plant shopping.
It was reasonably quiet around here at about 8:00 on a Sunday morning.
Made my way to GZ pondering what the hint could mean.
Looked for a little bit but nothing really stood out. Then I focused on a slightly different area. Ohhh I wonder if it could be in there, and suddenly the hint made sense! Waited for a passing car before making the retrieval. A bigger container than normal for this type of hide. Was a bit difficult to open but I got there.

Found while passing through the area. It took a few minutes to find it. Great hint! Photo of cache sent to CO as proof of find. TFTH
Quick find, on stop and swap drivers, only thanks to some pictures. Its so overgrown that I would have searched all the wrong places first discarding GZ. Saw a giant red belly balck snake in the river bed below. Good distance to check it out without a panic.
Thank you soupbones for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Found this nice Cache together with Dino and Flintstones. Thank you for putting it out and maintaining it soupbones.
Fairly quick find after reading the hint and others reports about vicious flora! Spotted something out of the ordinary and made the quick grab getting spiked in the process. Ouch! Signed and was about to replace when a muggle and her small son came by. I just stood there with the cache in hand until they’d passed them replaced, again getting spiked! TFTC
Wear gloves be good idea , those thorns can be dangerous. The hide was brilliant. Took a while that it looked different further along . Bring a pen. Another golden paper clip dropped off . TFTC
Quick and easy find, but still awesome! Great hint TFTC I’ll drop my next favourite point here
Awesome find , had to really use the brains , log was damage placed new log in
Find #450 on streak day #143.
After having a very busy weekend, the late afternoon rolled in and a cache was my next goal before going home to relax. Driving past this one regularly, I had always left it for another time. And that time was today. I parked the geomobile up the street and walked on down. Getting to ha I had a quick look around then went back through logs for a bit of a hint. I soon found one and had CIH quickly. And I can say that I wasn’t injured in the process. I completed signing duties and replaced. *Managed to squeeze my name onto the full log. But I did notice that the CO may want to check up on this. There are a few log sheets in there now and a couple so old they are crumbling to ash.* TFTC!

Awesome spot, took us about 15 minutes, we’ve seen one like this before! The hint was lost on me
Probably not this best time to go when flower power are having a big sale. The place was packed. Thankfully it was a quick find. Bigger then what I expected. Love these hides
Hoping that the rain hasn't been too bad out here yet, I popped out in the morning for a cache before the weather is expected to get worse. Parking at Flower power (not possible at night ) I popped over to GZ and ducked down to not be seen by cars. Since I had expected it to be raining, I'd already checked out the clue and very quickly put things together and found the cache. Logbook is full, but I squeezed my name in. Thank you for the cache!
Holy cow, suddenly working out that hint was so freaking exciting

Quick find for me today while out on a walk in Mt Annan. Cool cache!! The last person to put a little swap in here before I found it gave me a fright when I opened it Tftc!!
An easy find for crazeecat and myself after visiting the botanic Gardens with crazeecat's sister
I’ve been driving by this cache for a couple of years and even walked passed it thinking, I should grab this one day. So it was today. Thought I would nail it with the hint, but I’ve got to say that even though I got it (the cache), I didn’t really get it. But don’t worry, that’s just me.

Thanks for the cache.
Out for a drive with the geofam. Thought we’d cross this one off our list. Signed G, K, M & P (Gundrills, KnightJR, macka4867 & Panda_Girl65). TFTC
Out for a morning drive with geo fam getting a few caches. Been wanting to do this one for a long time. Nice to be able to tick it off. All made sense when I worked out the clue.
Got the hint eventually and had CIH for our first (not last) find for the afternoon. Power to the people. TFTC
Was searching for about 5 minutes before we finally clocked onto the hint! Nice cache!
found it! this cache has always stumped me and i came here 4-5 years ago and looks for ages and i only found it just now such a sneaky sneaky cache
We got to GZ and after a looking around, we noticed something interesting. A little exploration and the cache was in hand, but not without losing a little claret. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks soupbones for the cache.
Been having a great time with the Mega up at Wollongong. Also picked up some other caches around in the area. Cool idea. TFTC
Today I teamed up again with marj01 for another day of caching, this time around the Narellan/Camden/Cobbity areas. We had a very enjoyable and adventurous day visiting the cache locations, finding a heap of hides but also a few DNF's along the way.
A quick find with the hint. TFTC.

Took us a while to find this last cache of the day.
We didn't know the song and the coordinates were a bit off.
But thanx to some previous logs we knew exactly where to search.
Thanx for the creative hide

After a few finds to bolster my calendar finds on Pi Day. But the weather report for today is a real concern. But the morning should still be OK...
So after dropping Geoson #2 at the station I headed towards Mount Annan for the day’s plunder.
Called it at five as the rain was starting, and I wanted to be home before anything nasty hit. And I see this area was one of those that was hit. Hope everyone local had no problems.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Parked over the road and made my way to GZ.
Checked a few spots before getting the right one. Took a short distance to complete signing duties then back for the replace.
Pretty secure hide methinks.
Now, where to head next?

Found on a hot Sunday afternoon. The guard-plant is vicious, and it took me a bit to figure out the cache location - a bit too long even, given I have seen this type of cache once before! TFTC!
On the 1st Aquilus1 and I were supposed to be first day of a three day adventure going deep into the Heart Of Darkness.... all the way through NSW to Bogan Shire to claim a multitude of counties... but (and there is usually a but) unfortunately I no longer had three days available, just two. So, last minute change of plans was for us go to the coast and go north, and see how we went. I even solved the only puzzle on the road before leaving.
So.... it ended up being a great loop, clearing out the road from Bungendore to Nerriga and going on to claim about a dozen shires. Clearing out an area is always slow going, but we were methodical... No Cache Left Behind as dubya would have said, despite the constant rain.... at least after Nerriga it was more a trip to claim counties than to clean out the map.
Late on the 1st we remembered that we should eat, probably before everything closes... luckily we found a Thai place in Berry that grumpily let us in while staring at the clock.... no mind! The food was great. Frantic internet searching looking for a motel then ensued while waiting for our dinner... all was well, we had fine lodgings awaiting us in Kiama.
On the 2nd the rain was looking like it was going to set in for the day as well, but we soon realised it was the fog that was going to be our nemesis.... it was unbelievable and downright scary... glad I wasn't driving! But, in the pea-souper, we somehow missed our turn to The Shire and ended up near Appin, no mind, we can continue in this direction.
Not sure I can even remember all the councils we passed through and grabbed a cache or two in, but here goes:
Queanbeyan-Palerang,
Goulburn-Mulwaree
Shoalhaven
Jervis Bay
Kiama
Shellharbour
Wollongong
Wollondilly
Campbelltown
Camden
Liverpool
Fairfield
Canterbury-Bankstown
Cumberland
Strathfield
Canada Bay
Burwood
Inner West
Sydney
Woollahra
Waverley
Randwick
Bayside
Georges River
Sutherland Shire
Wingecarribee
Love flowers... found without too much fuss, but loved it. Left a pathtag.... please log it!

With GreyHams we had planned to head out for a three day trip into NSW for some counties, all the way to Bogan Shire! We had 14 counties on the route but a change of plans meant only the two days were available so plan B had us heading towards the coast and up towards Sydney.
All a bit of a last minute change but all good, GreyHams had a plan! Off we set, we had 5 counties on the list and would see how many more we had the time for. The new route had us driving up towards Bungendore to Tarago and then across towards Nerriga to Jervis Bay. A good trail of caches and we searched for them all, a few DNF's but mostly a successful trip through with a variety of caches found and some really great locations visited.
The rain set in about Nerriga, light and steady, and we both ended up more than a little damp at times, super fun when looking for a cache in the wet bushes! Mostly we cleared a nice path along the way with a few caches down some side tracks, a few puddles to play with along them and the only Mystery along the way... Well thanks to GreyHams for knitting that one out!
Stopped in Berry for a nice Thai dinner and then on to Kiama where we stopped for the night.
Woke to more rain but continued on North stopping at each county along the way for a cache and anything else interesting. Thankfully the rain did end up clearing... in its place there was the thickest of fog to navigate through, no worries about that on the Motorway with the traffic and almost no visibility!
Slightly turned about in the fog we did end up off track but worked out well in the end with a new course set and off to conquer the counties along the way into and around Sydney. A surprising 25 counties visited in the end, much more than expected but happy with the result and a good couple of days away to do it in. Thanks to all the CO's for your caches, apologies for the generic log, any additional cache information has been added to the end of this log.
Not what or where expected but logical! Cicadas here, wow, what a song!

Found with cullum68 on our way to sydney to see Phil Collins concert thank you for the cache
Quick find with the clever hint. Interesting to see such a big cache hidden in this manner. Swore at the bush guarding the cache several times. It clearly didn't want me touching its treasure. TFTC- quick one on a hot afternoon.
Farewell Canberra & Goulburn, it's time to turn north & head home to Brisbane but that shouldn't stop us collecting a couple more smilies along the way.
A few minutes spent around GZ & the cache was soon in hand.
Almost fell in the creek but not quite.
So much more to say but don't want to leave spoilers.
Nicely done ...
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Fox in Jox, AngelG27, ZQX and I (Team FATZ), left Canberra at 6am, to do wps 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 of Great Aussie Icon Hunt #3, picking up a cache in each county on the way. Where possible we found high d/t or old caches. We arrived back home just after 10pm, after an enjoyable and productive, but tiring day.
This was the Camden find. Quickly found. From here it was onto the Hume highway and home, only stopping for dinner at Mittagong. TFTC.
