Logs
I had to log this one as a DNF. I think the turtle has swum away with the flood waters.
Found the correct tree but no stash.
Maybe needs to be checked.
Cheers.

Couldn't find a way to get to caches in this area due to flooding on surrounding access roads.
Wish we the grand kids with us when we did this, they love caching even the 4 Y.o, lots of great swaps for them. Great spot, we did a 10K ride around the wetlands on a beautiful sunny day. TFTC
This one had fallen down out of it's hidey hole. We even saw it easily at dark. We hid it a bit better this time.

My first find. Wanted to start easy to get used to what this caching thing is all about. Went with a mate at 11pm just to make it more interesting and muggle free.
Left a calling card as was all I had at the time.

An easy one but even into winter and mozzies are still on the job. TNL cow TFTH Madstars
Cache was exposed and clearly visible from the track. I hid it better after signing the log. TFTC
A nice spot for a cache despite the mozzies. The nearby wildlife park was very noisy on their Suzuki motor bikes. TFTC SL left an eraser and a bit of blood.

After dropping Master E off for the paws walk, we raced around to grab this cache. Miss E had it spotted a fair distance off. Swapped a necklace and bangle for a k-bear, rather quickly due to the mozzies. A quick cache indeed. TFTH
The mossies are the worst I've ever seen.Use Bushmans spray before entering wet land areas. Nice easy spot for the kids.

We decided to go for a Sunday afternoon walk on Mothers Day (except Geo kids didn't want to drag themselves from their laptops!!!) It started out to be a nice day (for Autumn), but sure enough, it started raining during our walk. I was going to go and get this one about a week ago when it was first published, but was beaten to it. Anyhow walk and cache find accomplished.
Be sure you take mosquito repellant, they are pretty hungry!!!
Thanks Madstars for the cache. TNLN SL.

This big kid called in here on my way back from Port Albert. I love these wetlands areas. So relaxing just walking about. Feels like a hundred miles from anywhere. Cache slightly exposed so I just tucked it in a little. TNLN Thanks MADSTARS for the hide.
FTF sorry kids. Wasn't an easy find in the dark and GPS performing poorly. Would highly recommend for taking you kids to find thus one. They may have more luck spotting the turtle then you and madstar has stocked with toys. Tftc.
