unfortunately I need to place a new cache tonight (I promised for a caching team's 1000th find ) and I completely overlooked this maintenance issue. I will have to archive the cache.
The number of times I've driven past these shops and not called in here. Seems there are quite the bargains to be had. Today though it was just the cache that I grabbed. Will have to come back next time I need new clothes or sunnies. TFTC. SL.
A clever method of retaining the logbook in the cache while it's got no lid, yet keeping most the moisture out. Horribly hot with the sun at my back reflecting off the concrete and metal, so I was glad it didn't take too long to spot it, with The Marble doing to honours here. Even though the shops were open, we weren't disturbed in our search, and happily they weren't too busy, allowing us to park almost on GZ itself. TFTC, bristracker. =^.^=
Reading some of the logs gave a handy hint which thanfully hastened our search. It was sooo hot! Thanks bristracker.
Shops were closed as it was a Sunday afternoon, so nobody in site, we quickly grabbed the cache and returned to our holiday cabin nearby TFTC
Great hiding spot but cache has no lid so log has deteriorated slightly. Might need some maintenance.
On day 5 on my Queensland caching trip I was able to grab 65 caches for the day. Had a great sleep and started early to beat the heat. Plenty of great caches today and thanks once again to all the CO's.
Found with Poynts95 and Sportacuss. Out and about around the Gold Coast. A bit to search, but got it in the end. TFTC.

Visiting from Newcastle, found with my brother (frayeromm) from Nerang, TFTC bristracker!!
On very tired feet, I walked over a km more than I needed by not knowing where the paths lead behind these shops. Just as I surfaced on Clear View Boulevard (to discover I needed to walk a further 600m!!) it started to drizzle. As I neared GZ it started to rain quite heavily.....what to do???? All those surf shops!!!! It was only a 5 minute detour and even that cost me $50 and an even fuller suitcase. The lid of the cache was magnetised to the side of the tin and the log was on the ground. The log has holes chewed in it but remains serviceable. I added my initials and continued my journey. Thanks for the cache bristracker.
After introducing some friends to the cache world I've become very busy caching with them. It's been fun enjoying their enthusiasm to get started and fun to watch them at spots I've been already. After getting to the GZ and waiting for everyone to try and decipher the clues and hint we had the cache in hand. TFTC TNLNSL good cache to do at night with no interruptions
Found on return visit to cache. 28/04/13 3:20 PM tftc. Found as per normal after 1 minute. Isnt that always the way. Why didnt I look there last time.
This one had both bristracker and I searching. The vine has grown and thickened up quite a bit since the cache was placed apparently. I managed to find it. I signed the log and we replaced the cache. Bristracker was happy to know that it was still in place.
Came down to the shops on my lunch break and grabbed this little sucker. Nice hide. TFTC. SL.
Nice easy find but a bit higher than the clue said but put it back at the right height
As I am also 165cm tall I thought I was the perfect height for this....but my geoniece beat me to it. 6th one today with Jejoje and Jemaika SL TFTC
Happy New Caching Year. Second find for the day, have visited this one a few times at various times of the day. New years day, the place is deserted & had a quick easy find. I must've stared at this one before (literally) & just not seen it.
Took a little bit of searching but then cache was soon in hand. Found with JJBoards TFTC
Out caching at night while driving the truck.Ten at night is a great time for looking for this one,not a muggle in sight.Log is full, had to write over some other writing.Nice shoping area.TFTC. bristracker.
Took quite awhile to find this cache. All those damm vines keeping it well hidden.

I came up to do a bit of shopping for some snowboard gear at Billabong etc and thought I would find this one as it was so close to where we parked. Found the cache much easier than a ski jacket! The log will need replacing, it's full. TFTC!
# 460 Another long week and I was looking forwar to getting out of there and blowing off some steam. No work this weekend either so I should be able to rack up some numbers. Have plans to get out and about and collect some of the more tricky caches in the area as well.
I was on the phone to the Boss Lady as I pulled into the carpark, and mistakenly mentioned the sort of shops here. I now have to come back here when it's open and buy a long list of stuff. Thanks for that.
On a serious note, an easy find at this time of night with not a single sole around to trouble me.

On a trip to the Gold Coast to watch the daughter run in the Marathon and thought we would find some caches too. On the way to the coast and decided to pick this one up. Nice easy find.

We got sprung while doing this one by the same person as Coachman, she works in the area and is very interested in cachers. We nearly jumped out of our skin as we felt very suspicious slinking around the carpark, were we about to steal a car? TFTC TNLNSL
Oh so good. I parked here on Labour day so it was very quiet. I headed for the first spot to look and saw a sprinkler that got my attention, checked it out and dismissed it then looked at the GPS, Oh 7m to the right. okay then so I headed round the car to search properly and darn, there was another car parked right on GZ. grrr, ok think, stand around with iPhone doing facebook chats and leaning on the car, glancing as best I could to get a look from different angles. Only had to wait a couple of minutes and the owner came back with his shopping and took his car away. I then spent ages checking all around GZ with no luck. I gave up and went to buy us a drink and a Mars bar from the open chemist. I came back and sat in the car getting the next co-ordinates ready to head out and I said to EmBem, Just one more look. I jumped out of the car and checked the only place I hadnt looked - the spot I was first headed to. Well LOOK AT THAT! I walked right to it! So I logged it, grabbed the Geocoin "Peta" and placed the cache back with a little birdy added. Glad that wasnt a DNF in the end. Goes to prove that "A Mars a Day helps you work, rest and PLAY (Geocaching!).
Easy find after our well deserved lunch at the shopping centre. TNLNSL, TFTC Bristracker.
The description for this one had me worried, but I see now that the co-ords have already been updated. Very few muggles around today so managed to park close and with Xusia with me, started the hunt. We had to avoid a discarded nappy very close to the cache, but as we poked around looking, it was my systematic sweep that revealed the cache. Out it came for the log signing and no shops for us today, this cache express is stopping for tupperware only I'm afraid. TFTC bristracker
Tool a bit to find but once we actually thought about the clue and the description had it in hand pretty quick. Dropped PETA tb. TFTC!
With the children over on Stradie for the day we,Geo Mum and I (GeoDad) were free to have a day of caching caching caching.
We decided to concentrate on this area so we could try for a good number of smileys.
We searched for a little while uninterupted then a voice pipes up and says "Have you lost something, have you lost your keys". We try and do the story routine and in the end has to tell the whole story. Luckily the muggle is the owner of the eyewear store and is very interested in this game called Geocaching.
We continue our search, come up with the prize and we decide to show her what we are talking about (Not showing her where it is hidden of course). Do we have another convert to our amazing game.
Thanks bristracker TFTC SL

Found just on dusk while out for a run. Literally put my hand on this one before I saw it. TFTC bristracker!
Wasn't trempted by the shops. More caches to find. Only just spotted this by accident.
Thanks
Thanks
I seem to have been here before, near the flag pole last time. Made the find and then realised my pen had gone walkies. Back to the car for a frantic hunt or maybe a spare. Zip. Then spotted on the ground a couple of metres away. Phew, panic over. Back to sign the log at my leisure.

Parked further along to the east, so was able to walk back and duck around the corner. This was a clever hide, and thankfully I was able to see it without needing to move anything. Thanks for the cache.
Gps took us straight to this cache.. Was an easy find between muggles driving and walking past.
I was the only vehicle in the carpark today, so had an easy time searching. Found the cache after a few false starts, TN/LN/SL and set off to amble around Ashmore.
Not many people shopping today and I soon zeroed in on the cache.
Thanks bristracker.
Thanks bristracker.
After a false start with a sprinkler we looked a bit harder and Mrs Herbz came up trumps. TFTC BT.
An almost empty car park when I arrived just before 8 am.
A quick search had me the cache.

We decided to grab this one before heading to Main Beach. After a quick hunt Stairman1 had the cache in hand. There were lots of muggles around so I pretended to check geodog's paw while Stairman1 signed the log and replaced it . Thanks bristracker

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Started look at the listed co-ords, however these are clearly wrong. Maybe they could be updated?
Didn't have the log for Aussie L or Fangsoki, so a quick search on the web, and we eventually had some co-ords
A nice easy find in the end

Have relisted the co-ords as GPX files only have the last 5 logs

M-Dolphin and us headed in for this one, Muff1 hubby had it to hand very quickly and pocketed it while the others kept looking he he he. TFTC
As per previous logs coords a biy mysterious, but logs led to a quick find. TFTC.
Lokipagan and I initially looked in the wrong area for this one. But Aussie Liahona's alternative co-ords pointed us in the right direction (Have re-posted them up). A nearby muggle worker was paying no attention to us and the cache was found easily and in good condition. TFTC bristracker
Wasn't quite where we thought it was at first but a quick read of the cache page had it in our hands in no time
Found it - 1st for today caching in company of Gunnie69...
Initial co-ords had us off a bit but checking clues soon sorted the issue
Cache soon located

On arrival it GZ, Kaisho53 and I zeroed in and quickly figured out that there was an error in the coords. A scan around highlighted where we should be looking so we headed in for the hunt. Within a minute or so Kaisho53 had the container... [^]
The hint helped with this one...
Cheers bristracker.

Read cache page and a few logs, and the hint and it all fell into place.

Armed with the new set of co-ords from Aussie L and a bit more daylight I went after this cache.
After a short wait for a muggle to un-muggle themselves, the search started and the cache was found quickly. (Maybe my eyes were painted on last time)
Thanks for the cache bristracker.

This one wasn't too far from home so I headed off in search of a FTF. I searched for a quite a while but could not find the cache or an item matching the clue near the GZ.
The Krugers turned up and also had a search but still no luck.
Maybe the daylight might help.

Thought we had seen the Krugers turn up at another nearby cache, but we didn't run into anyone at this one. We wondered if they had been here already. We searched for a while but just couldn't come up with anything. The only thing matching the hint near to GZ was clean - not there. Other things near to indicated co-ordinates didn't match the clue. We tried for a nearby likely location where we did eventually find the cache. And, yes! We were FTF at 6:25pm. This cache was very well hidden and it was very hard to find in the dark. But, yep, there it was. Phew! Sorry Radnoski and Krugers, but we found it. Our co-ordinates are not always the best, but it seemed to us that S27 59.212 and E153 21.721 might give you a better starting point for the hunt. Our iPhone said GZ was 20 metres away. Picked up a very nice little pin for our troubles.
