Found it two days ago but forgot to Log it but unfortunately didn't have a pen on me Tftc
Stopped by here on the way home to increase our find count. The hint was helpful so went straight to it, a great way to do this kind of hide, thanks, keeps it safe and findable in all seasons. Thanks for hiding it, I enjoyed finding it.
After visiting the pools, I noticed this handy cache nearby. Great hint, yup there it is, TFTC
TFTC. Great clue once I had correct step up. GPS bounced around a bit in the trees. Great place to hide.
Excellent hiding spot. When I arrived thought I might be in danger from magpie muggles, but they werent interested in this bunch of trees. Thanks for the hide
The hint made more sense once we had found the cache. We were dodging youngsters playing Frisbee, but eventually success. All safe and dry. Thanks for the placement.
A bit of toing and froing for me! I was sure I had the right coords and the right hint item so I was beating my head in on one tree. Stepped back, changed my orientation, had it in seconds. Quality hide. Well done. The crisp new log was quite satisfying.
The Container should have been on the hook to keep dry but the hook was missing and the Cache was lying in the wet..All good to be found again Happy Caching Cheers us Wombles..
We called by to check on it,and found it lying in the wet leaves..There is a hook in there for you to hang it on,to hopefully keep it dry..So please make sure you do..Cheers us Wombles..
It's been a few weeks since my last great Sat morning exped. Weather and work have conspired against me. But no excuses this morning. Very clever. Gotta remind myself to give the GPS a few moments to settle. Sent me of on a bit of a search to some likely candidates, but then I saw the meaning of the hint, and there it was .. Cheers!
A great wee hide!!!
Sneaky
The clue was a bit cryptic but super helpful once in the vicinity
Have replaced as found on said hook.

This area has changed so much over the years, shame it's still not a golf course but glad most of the trees are still around. Log was wet but TFTC
A bit of an amble back and forwards trying out a couple of hints in the wrong places, then bingo! TFTC!
14 January 2022 15:09. A quick dash around the area included this one in my haul . The hint made perfect sense when I was there! TFTC Wombles B.J&T
Forgot to log that cache. Before going to the pool, we decided to stop at this cache, the first thing we spotted was a ruru, we spent quite some time looking at her, before carefully moving away and looking for the cache. Container was in good condition, the logbook was not 100% dry, but still able to write on it. After we did the paperwork, we walk to see the ruru again, but it was gone hiding in a better spot. That was a great encounter. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache!
Nice quick find after a few hours at the gym watched g the Pacific Rim trials for the New Zealand womens team. Tftc
We were heading along the ring road and wanted to find a cache nearby. This one looked a possibility. Parked in the QEll grounds and walked across to it. Took a moment or two to locate. #3053. TFTC.
In Chch for My nephews 1st birthday party. So got up this morning for a wee walk to try clear my mind about how bloody cruel life can be..thought I’d check to see if there were any caches around me and this one was not far so thought I’d grab it. Awesome wee find thank you!
It was a really great hiding place and really fun to look for!
We forgot to take a pen with us so didn't sig the log book.
We left a little swap!

Caching in the area today whilst visiting family and making the most of the great weather and caches along the way.
Nice walk in the sun here with a few people out, but all quiet at GZ and after a couple of false starts the cache was soon in hand and I was away again to the next.
Cool spot - TFTC

I didn’t realise that we were staying so close to QE II park.
The last time I was here was in 1974 for the games
Nice hiding spot.

As I was heading for a movie night in this direction, it was a great excuse to go and find a few caches along the way - and finally collect this one! Great hide, but even the replacement log is wet now. TFTC!!
We came to look for this cache after going for a swim at Taiora pool which has recently opened. It was very busy at the pool, school holidays brought the crowds in. This cache was an easy find, thanks to good co-ords and a good hint. However the log was sopping wet and I could not sign it. I dried the bag as best I could and wrote my name on a piece of paper I tore off the flyer of admission charges for the pool. Photo attached. Thanks for the cache.
Found the cache quite deep. It has been rehung but it has seen better days... thank you
A woman and child seemed to be close-ish to where I thought I needed to headed. However as I got closer they went wandering off into the wilderness leaving me to make the find, sign and replace on my own. TFTC # 12,322
I'ive started my beautiful trip of the South Island in Christchurch, I've visited many beautiful locations. I've travelled via Lake Tapeko, from Dunedin to the most southern part of Bluff. I've then continued with a cruise in Milford Sound and then back to Queenstown.
From there on I've visited Wanaka and the Haast pass to the Franz Josef glacier. I went all the way up to the Abel Tasman NP. Richmond und Nelson as the sonnierst cities were on my list as well.
I've soon reached the east coast in Picton and Blenheim.
After a couple of days, I've then travelled back to Christchurch via Kaikoura.
I've spent a couple of days in Christchurch and it's surroundings.
I've visited many geological sites and have found many caches along the way.
I've travelled 3500km and have experienced so much.
Thank you to all the owners

In Christchurch for the weekend with my partner and while she is doing a 2 day course I came up with her as it is the perfect time to log lots of caches and try to log 2000 before next year. TFTC

I came from Frosts Rd, with the main goal to find the NZ Gold mystery but turned out that I probably have my numbers wrong on that one. So I just came to get this one.
I missed the natural step at first but on the second go I used it and got the cache.

In CHCH to visit friends for a long weekend and had an hour time for some geocaching in the area. Easy first find. TFTC
A quick find after a short walk, while our granddaughter is at gymnastics nearby. TFTC
Begins our holiday in NZ in Christchurch, we came from Italy to find our son who lives there for two years.
Long trip, but surprisingly we arrived there very tired, almost two days and two nights without sleep, but it took just 24 hours we got used to the new day.
Today we decided to dedicate the day to the city's parks.
Here we struggled, the hiding places are many but we can find the treasure
TFTC
Greetings from Italy

#2,652: Royal Smiley!
I came out this way to drop GeoYoungling #2 off at a mate's house for a movie. Had some time on my hands, so what better way to spend it than caching! Parked nearby, then walked to GZ. Lots of good places to hide a cache! Not too many walkers around at the time, so I could search in peace. Found after a short search. All in good shape!

Very easy find today. The hint told me all I needed so didn't even need to check it on the gps. Good hiding spot. Tftc
Found on a eastern burbs caching raid with StreetWalker on a sunny spring day. Pity about the beasterly easterly, though.
This cache name rung a bell, and reading through the cache description, realise that we must have found the Mark I version before the poplars went. The GPSrs were a bit skitterish here and had us going up and down the trees a few times before settling. I was pleased to have the hint object as an aid for cache retrieval . TFTC.

#13045. I hadn't realised the golf course was closed (interesting to see how run down it is looking). Took a little while to track down. TFTC.
Day 4 of our Christchurch adventure. A Sunday and our last day before heading home.
The sun shone bright and we enjoyed more caching adventures in the area.
Not a part of the city that I had previously visited, but it was easy to see what impacts this area had borne. There were the familiar geocachers again. Must have slipped in just ahead of us.
A straightforward find. Cache in order; log signed and cache re-hidden safely.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Cache number 109. Stuck my hand inside a tree and it was filled with stagnant water blurrrgggh!. Once I saw the right place the hint made total sense. TFTC
Found while on a walk with my son. Had to think about the clue item to make the find
Sir Balec, his sister and I went out to find this cache after school ,after a quick search we found it.a great hide Thanks for the cache .
TfTC geo boy and I don't usually find things without geo dad but we found this one!! Nice hide!
So many great hiding spots to choose from but we found the right one. Nice little hide and I like the extra effort that was put into it. Tftc.
I needed a cache for the day and after todays rain it cleared up a bit late in the afternoon so it was a rush to get here after dinner.
Cheers for the cache.

Concerned after spotting the previous log, but cache was a relatively quick find in the obvious spot.

Think I found the clue but certainly not the cache. Must be getting out of practice.
Approached with some trepidation given the number of possible spots but no trouble in the end. Good to get a few smilies over here today
Took a few moments to figure out the clue, but found it quickly once sorted. Thanks for the hide.
Our first attempt at Geocaching and our first find without to much difficulty.
Was nice to sit on the nearby seat and enjoy the lovely views on a hot and
sunny day.
Thanks for a great first experience.
