Sorry know-mads but we think this one may have flown the nest. Found empty container, searched all round underneath but could not locate any sign of it. Took photo if you need to check. This was on 16/11. Apologies for delay - catching up on log entries.

A cute cache - perhaps a little too cute. Quickly saw what I thought was the cache holder but it was empty. Was about to leave when I saw the actual log holder on the ground. Replaced it but perhaps it is a bit too exposed.

Covered cache as best possible as it was out in open will see how it goes after being recovered.

We were on our way home after a weekend visiting our grandson for his 3rd birthday and then followed by a geo event in Wonthaggi when we found your cache. We tried for this some time ago, but were unsuccessful. Today it was an easy find. Loved the shop on the corner

Found with Geogran1937. The log has suffered some ill-treatment and was disintegrating in part.I did some remedial work to it but perhaps the owner should check it. Also the cache seems very exposed, is this original?

Day 2 of my stay down here. Work has been crazy so i decided once i arrived back at the hotel that i needed a walk. Off to find the closest caches.

It was easy because it said we were getting close right from the start.

On our way to visit the brother in law and the geo toddler could take no more car, so it was decided we would stop here, two birds one stone took a little hunting before wasptor came up with the goods, a very cute hide TFTC

We had issues finding the right place with this cache - the GPS was trying to tell me that streets existing that didn't. And then when we arrived at GZ, we were wandering around in circles for a bit, and trying to keep the kids a bit quieter as there was a muggle proof fence right next to GZ. Somewhere a little further in the bush land with less rubbish and no fences would have been nice. But we spotted the cache, and the cute hide. Thanks for the cache!

had another appointment at Inverloch so decided to go and have quick look for this one. Nice quick find but muggles in one of the adjoining businesses held me up for a short time but what took me the longest was trying to fit the log and bean back into the cache container, but eventually I was successful. TFTC know-mads

A wet and wild day somewhat hampered our caching rate as we negotiated flooded roads, frequent heavy showers and sodden ground, to the extent that during the day we abandoned our assault on four caches. The opportunity to catch up with a local caching identity kept us going. There would seem to be a couple of great story starters at GZ, including the neat hide!

Found this one today with crigithis. This one was a ripper at dark! TFTC know-mads great camo!

Well, decided on another after-dark venture. Wind blowing, trees creaking, but at least it wasn't raining. Those clouds we suspect were playing games with our GPS, and the torchlight hunt was on. Spent way too long looking at and around something that wasn't right, then tried the GPS again and got the a-ha moment. All good with cache. TFTC

GPS was determined to take us somewhere we couldn't access. Just happened to look where we needed and Bugz11 and I had the cache.

We had missed this cache the first time we came here (a year or two ago), this time wasn't looking too good either. We were just about to give up when I gave it a look from a different angle, suddenly it stood out like a sore thumb. Great hide, not surprised that we missed it last time.

No. 4 of 4 caches found on an Inverloch bike ride this morning. Loved this one - well done!

We travelled around the block before we found the way into this little remnant bushland. We strolled along the bush path and found a cute cache GZ. Another nice one know-mads.

# 2606. Caching this afternoon at Inverloch with pprass and Robmc after attending the Pre New Year Event. We took a long time to find a close way to reach the cache. Finally found a parking area and strolled in for a quick find. Nice hide. Very cute. TFTC

During the intervening time between the Pre-Xmas Events we went to Inverloch to do a few caches with Bettyboo3747 and Pprass.
We drove to the wrong side first, and found no way in. Correcting this we found a nice walk into the park, and then to GZ.

On a day we attended two events in the area and caches were completed before, between and after. TFTC Full log to come when we are more awake!!

We decided to sneak in one last find before the Wonthaggi dinner event as we were sure other cachers would understand arriving late to dinner because of the need to find a cache. We’re sure glad we did. K was well off the mark as her GPS was pointing her in the wrong direction. T’s GPS on the other hand (we both have an iPhone 4S incidentally) was behaving and pointing him in the right direction. He soon had the cache in hand. Signed log.

Thank you for a unique cache. This earned a favourite from us.
