Logs
Caching in the Lower Bluies with Its_Dozzie this morning.DNF revenge. Thanks for replacing. TFTC
#14822 10:15With Gavino4's event in Glenbrook this morning, Brewmaker and I set out for an early start. After coffee we headed off to find a number of caches from the Glenbrook Ramble series.Wow, nice spot with the cut-out for an old railway line. A quick find!TFTC
SurdiVisio and I had a lovely short walk here. Struggled to find it on both sides. He went that way, I went here and was excited to make our find!
Another singular find to maintain my streak. Geocaching with Graubunden who beat me to claim this cache. Thrilled, one log gave us the whereabouts, yet we had to put in the effort. TFTC whitemushroom and others for keeping this in play!
Ive been staying nearby in Glenbrook; there was a conference last week and therell be a conference next week and five of us women are staying here for the weekend. This morning we got up to find glorious sunshine to accompany our plans for a bush walk. This was the sixth of six geocaches in our two-hour walk. We also saw beautiful landscapes and wonderful views. It was lovely to hear the wind song and bird song. It was around here that we got talking to some locals who directed us to the lookout. What a great view! Now that weve got our steps up for the day we can go off to high tea in KatoombaThanks for the cache, whitemushroom, wackydo and eaviate
Really enjoyed walking up through the cutting, I remember mudwort great movie but also so disturbing lol I'll never get over what happened to Artax!!Nice camouflaged hideThanks for the cache
Looked for close to an hour, absolutely nothing. Not doubting the replacement cache but surely I would have stumbled on it after this lengthy search
Lot of eyes searching all levels both sides with no luck. But I did find a new golf ball, how weird!
No. Five of us, including 2 previous finders. Looked high and low, but saw nothing.
Ok so this one made us think.. but we soon had cache in hand. Found with Storeyteller. Great location for a cache - love the container too!! Tftc
I was looking low and hubby looking high found it and this was our first geo cache. Our son loved the little adventure.
Took a while before I noticed the cache container. I signed the log, but the log has fallen apart, so I just found a blank spot. Tftc.
Absolutely wicked spot, had a few spiders protecting it too, don't know if they are on the payroll but very menacing
Took us a little while to find however the pictures helped! It is higher than eye level but very clever spot to put it! TFTC
It's always an adventure geocaching with Kimbathelion, but got there in the end. Tftc
Wow, we found it! We visited the lookout to regroup after our first attempt, then found it on our return. TFTC
DNF - hints were not the best, we were looking for about 20 mins and couldn’t find it. Good luck
Very familiar with the never ending story! And I knew what this creature was but I never knew the real name so my nickname was very helpful tFTC, a peaceful and cool walk along here today
Found on a lovely sunny day cache trip before a picnic. The hint was too hard for us, but thanks to people’s photos we knew what we were looking for. GPS jumping around a bit in the gully but put us close enough to search the few logical places. A few muggles around but avoidable. Fun hide. TFTC
Great find but forget about the clue. It has close to nothing to do with the find. TFTC
Another clever cache, TFTC. Made a mistake and climber the wrong side first.
Today we avenged a DNF from June 2020. Last time we clearly underestimated the size of a Mudwart. Mr Gaztek rose to the challenge today and found the clever little bugger. A lovely day to be in the mountains. Meanwhile Mrs G dialled into an international Zoom to friends in California who were suitably impressed with the cutting and the sight of Mr G reaching for GZ. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
After the community event is was time to grab a few more caches in the area so headed over. A nice walk along the old tram line and cuttings. We picked up a number along here with nice views just near the old winding house station. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
quick find with Ris768 for the daily cache thanks Whitemushroom for adopting & maintaining this cache

Lost count the number of times I've ridden a long this track. Kids had fun climbing. TFTC
Quick find with Deep_99 to keep the streak going. SL #4760 on streak day #3092 TFTC
Nice one! Any cache that references the neverending story is a good one in my book! Tftc!
Found it,
Very fun and hard great hiding spot
Up high and very unusual container good clues

After two DNFs we continued to this cache. Didn't spend too much here, so after about ten minutes we moved on to our next target....another DNF for the day.
N cache and no Mudwart for us today although we gave it a red hot go. Touching, reaching, wiggling, a little climbing/stepping up, poking with a stick x none of these did the trick for us. never mind we enjoyed the hint and the cutting itself. Cheers... Gaztek
Couldn’t find this one Lots of tree branches on path and very wet from recent rain.
Came back today, with a bit more knowledge about mugwarts and high hopes to find it. We thought we were never going to find it, but It was up high, in plain sight and IN a very cool container!

Had no idea where this one was.. maybe we will do a bit of research and come back.
Took a while to get this one. Loved the hiding spot though! Looking closely made it obvious there was something not quite like the others.

Geowife dropped me off at the end of Emu Road and I started to work through a few Tramway Route caches while she got some retail therapy at Penrith Plaza. Just got to the first cache and realised that I left my pen in the car. No worries, I thought, I'll just take a photo of the log as evidence that I had found the cache. As I came to other caches I found that some had writing implements and some didn't and so at the end of the day I had signed some logs and taken photos of others. However, when I came to logging them all tonight I was not sure which photo belonged to which log. So if future cachers see a photo that looks a bit out of place - this is the explanation. Also apologies for the generic logs.
### Welcome to Blue Mountains ###
——
We took a day trip to Penrith, Lapstone and Glenbrook today.
We walked along the tram way and the zig zag way and have enjoyed many other nice beautiful spots
Nice landscape to explore.
We’ve also stopped multiple times along the way and solved some multi caches.
We’ve also found a virtual cache in Glenbrook Park.
Thank you all the owners for the nice caches

Decided to skip this one as previous logs said it was tricky and required a lot of research. I didn't have all the time in the world so carried on for some hopefully quick finds.
