So close to giving up on this one being so long since last find. Poked and prodded looked around. Re assessed and read the logs. Mini geo found under camo i had bypassed ! Added stuff took nothing. Log dry and in good condition! Thank you for your hide and maintenance!
Found It!
Spotted this one after a bit of poking around in all the tree remains. A nice day for a walk today.

In the area and made the stop at this one. Did not find this one many years ago when I was here. Found today. Thanks
Extremely well hidden challenging cache thank you! What’s with the weird dog/cat toy with the bug eyes???
Picked this up on a 5km late afternoon walk - nice views from this ridge.
Thanks for placing. Good boy, Woodleigh!

With @jesswrigley available for geocaching once again after past weekends performing work and aerials, it was time for a planned out-of-Adelaide outing. We attended the nearby 5 km parkrun, and later, called past the annual pi approximate event, before heading to Mount Crawford with our mountain bikes. We then proceeded to ride up the Heysen Trail for a small segment (definitely not suitable for bikes as we walked half that), and then around the fire tracks collecting the *K9-GPS* series, *Weird & Cool Facts* series, *Animal Fiction* series, and *Animal Facts* series of geocaches. We then had a pizza dinner at Birdwood with a few final finds around there. A little windy that felt more attuned to a sunny winter day.
This cache was found whilst cycling around in an anti-clockwise direction in Mount Crawford surrounds. The hint was very fitting for this one... trunk graveyard indeed . The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Team Jansons for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I set myself two caching goals at the start of this year.
1) Reduce the number of days in my calendar that I hadn't found a mystery cache to satisfy a challenge cache.
2) Complete my calendar so that I had a minimum of 5 cache finds per day. Tick - done.
Then half way through the year I heard a whisper about another challenge cache in the pipeline that required a Multi cache on every calendar day. At that time still needed 129 days so 3) reduce those days became yet another goal.
Then Groundspeak wanted to start a streak at the end of August to get a souvenir. So I did. And I am still on that streak so I guess I now need to achieve 4) goals.
Today I needed to find a cache to continue the streak. But with no caches within 20 kms of home and having to drive 45 minutes to my target area for today I was not going to do just one! I decided on a nice little 5 km circle walk from Mount Road up into the Little Mount Crawford Forest Reserve and along the Heysen Trail for a while before taking a fire track back to Mount Road and back to the car.
Result 9 caches found and 1 DNF. An enjoyable little walk. [8)] Unless stated below all caches and logs in good condition.
Wow. So many possible hiding places for this one. I scrambled all over this one before spotting something a little out of place. [^] Sure enough that is where I found the cache. Time to head back down to Mount Road and back to the car.
**Thanks Team Jansons for this cache. **

This was the main attack of the day, most of the caches were easily found apart from a few which took some searching. Some of the log books are almost full and will need replacing in the next few months.
Today I headed up north to Nuriootpa for an event put on by snappytomcats, with plans not going to plan in the morning I set off early and decided to do some caching along the way instead of doing it on the way home. But the bike in the car and decided I would go for a ride around mount Crawford then collect a few on the way to Nuriootpa. Overall a total of 42 caches for the day.

Lovely spring day for a ride around Crawford Forest with Pony1966, but mostly pushing them at this stage! TFTC
This morning we headed out on a huge walk to collect caches to get to 6000 caches and that we did. It was a funny old day weather wise pretty cold with plenty of rain showers. We had a fab day and have walked about 20 km my Apple Watch is very impressed. TFTC and series
what better way to celebrate the long weekend than being in Mt Crawford, all the campsites are full but everyone just sitting around their fires, just means the air smells beautiful. TFTC
Trekked to this end from Minotaur, along a fire track, to save walking that hill twice!
A quick find in the spot next to the obvious spot.

TFTC. Previously attempted cache was a DNF for me. Saw this one hadn't been found for a while. But gave it a crack and had success. Yay!
Another delightful cache find on me stroll through this delightful strip of native bushland among the pines
G'day to the K9
But a word to the wise in these areas !!
They are laced with 1080 baits to control feral dogs, cats and foxes !! [^]
The baits make no distinction between feral and tame animals however [:o]
Let the pooch off of a tight leash and it may be fatal !! [:o]
Meanwhile the cache was found in the obvious spot

With a couple of days off and a let up in the storms we decided a walk in the forest would stretch the leg muscles, a enjoyable stroll and found after a short search TFTC Team Jansons
Out with micaparamedic and The Drovers for another days caching in the great area we decided to try our luck at this series after we had completed the nearby Animal Facts run. This little walk turned out to be a bit harder than we thought but are happy to say we located all the hides and added our names as CDM to save room in the log books.
Apologies for the generic log but being out with a fun loving group competing for each find we did not take note of each cache.
Many thanks Team Jansons for placing this cache and bringing us to this area.

Out with Team Crackers and the Drovers today, we had a quite day with just three hours caching as a trip to Adelaide Airport was needed to collect another member of our group for the Yorke Peninsula assault. We had a relaxed and enjoyable day with plenty of laughter and frivolity being shared by all.
Thanks Team Jansons for placing this cache.

Today we ventured out with Team Crackers & Micaparamedic,
to do a section of a nearby power trail, and a few others on the way.
With nice weather, and lots of laughs, a fun day was had.
We signed as CDM, to save on time and log space.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Team Jansons, for us and others to find.

Yes we went down to the woods today
To find us a caching prize
Oh we went down to the woods today
And didn't go in disguise
For every cache that ever there was
was gathered there for certain because
Today's the day we had a caching picnic!
So Purrfect Di and Chloe the geopup joined me for a mini attack on a seemingly tiny corner of the Mt Crawford geo map.
A nice walk, which we must do again soon, but start earlier!
Geopup Chloe was pretty chuffed to find some caches for K9s, so we'll be back to find some more soon.
(Cats need minions/slaves/dogs to do their dirty work )
Mattycat often goes the long way 'round, so between us we found this one easily

Out with Debandy caching the Mt Crawford forest on a bitterly cold day made all the worse by the biting wind chill how ever once we started hiking the hills in search of the many fantastic cache all was good. Many cache were found with many more still to find on another day, one that's a bit warmer I think.
T hanks for the cache!

It has been more than a decade since I last walked this track! Happy to report it hasn't changed a bit. Still a lovely walk in the bush [^]

Still no dogs. No bunnys either.
Our thanks to Team Jansons and clear skies from TeamAstro..
We had our elderly dalmation here today, he stumbled a tad and struggled getting over the fallen logs but had a great time. When he was younger he refused to do anything other than the long way around - weaving continuously on walks as he was bored at how slow we seemed to walk!
Now he is much better at walking in a straight line, and he had a ball exploring this area today. Thanks for the hunt Team Jansons.

So many possible hiding spots here and there.... after walking around in circles and re-checking various spot... red found the treasure!! TFTC!!
We think dogs get a double bonus of all their walks, they not only enjoy the lovely relaxing walk as we do they also appreciate all those lovely smells, and we don't mean the flowers, they seem to enjoy the aroma of roo poo, and stinky moss covered lump of something unable to be identified, etc. etc.
Thanks Team Jansons for the cache, found the cache, signed the log and replaced. Ahh starting to rain so we will cut the loop short to return another day.

Darknstormy and i were heading to Mt Crawford for a nice walk with some good caches and we stopped at a few along the drive to our destination.
The sun was shining and was a bit bitey at times but the wind was cool so it made for a great walking day. Saw lots of Roo's along the way and one bug bunny or perhaps a Hare?
Loved the walk along the Heysen trail too
Thanks for bringing us here and apologies for a generic log

Furrangel and I decided we wanted to go for a hike so we set out a trail it was nice and quite here, no one around just the icy wind.. But the sun game out a bit later to warm us up We are slowing ticking of parts of the Heysen Trail on our bucket list.
We saw plenty of wildlife, lots of birds, kangaroo's and a few lizards... Few big hills that tested our endurance near the end of the walk. Other than that it was great to get out of the house and get the legs moving.
Sorry for the Generic log... after doing so many you can't remember all of them

Another fairly quick find, but the day got away from us. Time to turn down the road and head back to the car before it gets dark. We'll have to tackle the rest of the loop another day. TFTC.
The cache was there. Just there. You know there!

A lovely 10km walk this morning to pick up some animal facts. Lots of mist, lots of roos, and lots of familiar sights along some trails we haven't walked for awhile. Mrs Frozen Feet did the hike in true frozen feet style wearing only sandals... and jumping in muddy puddles.
Still quite misty up here, and it was so quiet around GZ... just a few bird calls now and then.

Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega
Currently camped at Mt Crawford forest we awoke to being blanketed in fog.
So after a late start it was decided Mr Felix would complete the walk and pick up the walking half of this newly formed circuit including the k9 caches that we had wanted to tackle back in April, but ran out of time. With Mrs Felix being chauffeur and dropping him at one end and collecting him at the other
A great winter day, with the fog finally clearing into a sunny afternoon a nice forest walk, saw some huge Kangaroos and also some other cachers out on the trail.

An overcast day with the promise of rain and I decided to hike through Mt Crawford. Yay me. It was a constant drizzle for most of the day but I carried on and actually really enjoyed my hike up here. It's been a long time since my last visit so today was a welcome reminder of how beautiful nature up here on the Heysen trail really is. As I trek back to the geo mobile I am wet, muddy and bleeding. What an awesome day! TFTC (Generic log for this part of my journey as there was quite a few caches)

the weather doing it usual not sure what it was doing got a few drops of rain and spotted that mob of big red again TFTC log is full TNLNSL
Headed back to Crawford today to get these ones of our to do list, i swear we approached these from the wrong direction making it a 3.5 terrain rating, once we found the first one we stuck to the track and life became a lot easier, as we arrived it looked like it might rain so i packed the ponchos "just incase" which paid of as the rain did come ( more a constant drizzle) and the ponchos saved us from becoming very wet, we nearly managed all of them except one : ( it was a good walk through here and we spotted a few roos along the way. Think 3LG and myself went the wrong way up as seemed a lot easier going back.

We have been camping at the nearby Rocky Paddock camping ground and spending our days finding the local geocaches before we set sail again for the SA Mega event. Today we decided to take a morning stroll in the hills with our own geo-K9 in tow. We really enjoyed finding this series of geocaches.
