Sat on steps and rummaged for ages without any luck.

18-Feb-14
Sad After all the 'easy' notes in previous logs I was looking forward to this bring a quick stop. So many leaves!!! I probably picked a bad time going at the mozzies' dinner time too but after a fair bit of leaf raking and plenty of bites I'm giving up for today!

16-Feb-14
It had been a long day and I think my patience level wasn't up to this search. Between the leaf litter and the real litter, I had a poke but nothing leapt out at me and I decided to head for a faster find. Thanks anyway, bristracker. =^.^=

Day trip from Brisbane, easy find, covered with dry leaves.

18-Sep-13
On day 5 on my Queensland caching trip I was able to grab 65 caches for the day. Had a great sleep and started early to beat the heat. Plenty of great caches today and thanks once again to all the CO's.

12-Aug-13
Yes co-ords were out on the south. Apologies to all who ran across the road . South should read .923 folks

12-Aug-13
Coordinates changed from:
S 27° 58.933 E 153° 22.623

Coordinates changed to:
S 27° 58.923 E 153° 22.622

Distance from original: 61.2 feet or 18.6 meters.
Apologies toy those who were sent across the road by the misleading co-ordinates.
The principal problem was with the South co-ordinate.
Fortunately people used the cache name to help them.

12-Aug-13
After lunch with OrionJ and the lovely bristracker, we headed out for a few local caches.

This one was just around the corner and we ignored the coords and headed to the obvious location. The CO updated the coords while we did the paperwork. An easy find!

TFTC bristracker, seeing a bit more of the area lest I head south in the future Wink

10-Aug-13
Another day out and about caching on the Gold Coast with Poynts95 and Sportacuss. Had a great day, found a few, including an earth cache, which is always a bonus. Thanks to all CO's for hiding and maintaining their caches....
------------------------------------------------------
At origina coords, GPSr had us on the wrong side of the road, but after reading a few logs, the jig was up, so to speak, and the cace was found.... TFTC.

11-Jul-13
Your listed coordinate is on the wrong side of the street. Thankfully your chose a great title which enabled me to make a quick find. The cache is quite exposed; I tried to cover it with a few leaves. Thanks bristracker.

20-Apr-13
Headed off to this cache and I was ahead of bristracker... totally oblivious to where I was and the name of the cache I kept walking. Bristracker sat down and said where are you going? oops take time to think girl! Found very easily. Sneaky hide right there.

20-Apr-13
To be honest, what I was reading in the description compared to where the GPS was pointing a two very different things. Even where the marker on the map shows for this cache is on the opposite side of the road to where the cache is actually located. It is just lucky that this area poses a very likely position for the cache. Could be worth checking the coords for this one, I would have taken a reading but not going to tempt fate taking a reading with an iphone.

Last find for the day before heading back north to Brisbane.

TFTC

Ooh, a tribute cache and for a top bloke as well. With Xusia today and parked down a side street and wandered up the hill across the road and up a few stairs to this one. Some muggles across the road so I made a covert retrieval and the logbook was passed around for the signing. A strange little spot here, TFTC bristracker Smile

Lucky parked my car close to the stairs as I'm sure a neighbour came out to see what I was doing. While she rearranged dead palm leaves on the ground, I signed the log and quickly put the cache back before she could blink Smile TFTC

20-Jan-12
Found the cache safely tucked away as I made my way up the stairs. After continuing further along, the log was signed and the cache returned safely to its hiding spot. Thanks for the cache.

01-Jan-12
Having met ‘stairman’, been challenged by his caches and enjoyed his company, I just had to find this cache. Didn’t take too long before I was opening the cache and dropping everything ... insert spider dance ... a small spider was trapped in the cache and as soon as the lid was opened, he was on a mission to escape. I can only assume he’d been in there for at least three days, because that was the last find. Anyhow, it scared the hell out of me Red Face. After a suitable recovery period, I TN/LN/SL and put everything back in the hiding spot ... sans spider.

29-Dec-11

Out caching with Mischievous Maverick (we got leave passes from the other halfs - yay!) Great fun TFTH Smile

With a 'Leave Pass' from MrsMischievousMaverick and MrGreenGeckos on a trip to Cape York, MrsGG and I trundled off to the Gold Cast for the weekend to do a spot of Caching. Smile

It wasn't until we had the GeoTruck backed up, down a side street and turned around that we noticed the named suspect. I think it was because we were both focussed on 'old mate' mugglehound hearding the boat trailer back into the driveway...Once we regained sight of our objective, the cache was easily in hand and the log book signed.

A breeze past our GZ of this one had Lokipagan and I confused - and then we noticed Aussie Liahona's alternative logs (which I have re-posted up).

Thankfully no muggles were about today and Loki found the cache well hidden. It is in good condition. TFTC bristracker Smile

A quick find with Mr Gap - I didn't have my GPS on me but with the clues I was able to find it, the big dog nearby gave me a bit of start Red Face

28-May-11
Another bristracker cache requiring stealth & cunning due to location & muggle proximity...

This time sitting on verandah overlooking GZ...

Luckily a small shrub provided enough cover for a stealthy grab & retreat to sign log...

Replacing was just as tricky

TNLNSL

Thanks bristracker for the cache
