We couldn't find it.
Cache probably lost, Gardeners worked the area recently.

Went to replace this cache only to find the garden has gone! Saw the slip but not the cache. Will have to wait and see what the WDC are planning for the area.
Found it after we finished our tour to the white island . Very nice case . TFTC and greetings from Germany
Just finished the set around the Tois track so thought I had better get this one too. YFTC
Found this while visiting friends in NZ. Beautiful area to visit and cache in. TFTC
We had seen the slip on our previous visit, which was just as well because tonight it was hidden in the darkness and rain. Did manage to see the cache though, thanks.

Checked this out yesterday in the pouring rain to make sure we had one for 29th Feb. Easily found and logged today after a trip to White Island. First of 4. Better weather too! TFTC
We're surprised many more of the houses below that slope have not been relocated. Guess at present it looks stable. NINO TFTC
Pleased I don't have a house anywhere near this slip. Good to have a cache here... Thanks.
Not hard to miss the slip!!!! jeepers, wouldn't want to be living behind that ticking time bomb. Nice little cache grab after a trip to the movies. Thanks Geckoh!
Not sure we'd want that slip coming down behind our house, bit of a worry! Quick find. TFTC.
I arrived at this one but couldn't see the slip [?] Maybe I wasn't looking in the right spot for the slip as well as the cache . Read the clue and realised the numbers had changed [?]. Widened my search and quickly found the container . TFTC
Last time we were here was the time of the floods and the sea was wild, much calmer this visit. Quick find TFTC.
The last one for the afternoon. We had some shopping to do in Whakatane so good excuse to check out some of the Geckoh caches. Thanks very much for lots of interesting caches, Geckoh. We look forward to checking more of them out sometime.
what a rocking way to start the week. Nice to grab a geckoh cache in his home town. TFTC

Family holiday, quick find for husband. Thought this one was pretty nifty. TFTC
We'd read the description, so had a good idea of what we'd be looking for. Found during a break in the traffic. Such a nice spot, we decided to have our morning cuppa here, overlooking the boats - accompanied by the seagulls. Thank you!
11.25am - No muggles around could be due to the huge down pour which seems to a flooded half of Whakatane. SL>TFTC
Parked right there so didn't need to get our Hides too wet as we slipped out to collect the Key to 2248, TFTC!
One thing about geocaching on a damp sort of day, is that keeps the muggles at bay!

Trying to get as many of the high muggle potential caches found before the general public get up an about. Cheers
Mothers Day afternoon caching - yes - all the males in my family taking pot shots at ducks so headed out for the arvo, but found LOTS of families at the Ocean playground, once again forgot my tool for Kauri Grove but did manage this one. That slip is truely amazing we know people in the flash apartments and they are sooo **** Not charging off to the new one at Everies Rd will save it for a paddle day Thanks
FTF but only just.
After walking back from dinner with friends I saw the 2 new caches and as supercacher had put them out headed off for another drive/walk. While putting it back a lovely couple of ladies walked out of the gloom. Thought damn they will have seen me and as I turned the car around they headed straight towards it. I stopped and asked if they new what they were looking for hoping to put them off. They answered "A nano?" No need to worry afterall. Watched and chatted to one while her friend took some time to find the cache. I said that she is probably looking at it but can't see it.
It looks like a good day for the dutch girls to enjoy the Toi's walk.
Thanks Geckoh

After my sister and I had a first and second log near the playground, that was only 500 meters from our campsite, we walked on to this one in the hope that we could get another FTF. Bad luck, just when we arrived we saw Mac Ross putting the cache back. Thought it would be easy to find it, but I didn't read the cache description very well and overlooked it several times before it hit me. Thanks for the caches!

After finding the cache at the playground we walked on to find this cache. When we arrived Mac Ross was just putting it back. Chatted for a bit, nice to meet a local cacher, hadn't met any other Kiwi cachers yet. Really nice hide, hadn't seen one of those before.
