This one was veryyyyy difficult, had to send my litte brother in to retrieve the cache hahaha tftc
M15 went ahead and searched for the cache, and after a few mins, he found it and celebrated, a little too loud for the archers nearby. Log all good here. TFTC.
Found this great cache with Bapboy, a little difficult for me being a taller person to find
Despite being not too far from me at the moment, I've left this one for a while, not feeling quite up to the adventure I felt this required. Well, I was out and about with NuclearGunter today, and he's more adventurous than I am, so we made this one our last find of the day. Thankfully, this was easier than I expected, despite my stature, and NuclearGunter made quick work of this one. Log signed as NuclearBapboy, and I'm adding an FP here for getting me out of my comfort zone. TFTC!
Borrowed my mates gumboots and away I went. Can't believe this one has survived the Auckland floods Great cache. Great adventure.Fav point. Thank you.
Goodness. Waaaay out of my comfort zone! But I did it!!! Yippie. The photo of the two children definitely helped to overcome my unwillingness to go in there. So that's it for today, I 've been brave, time for my couch now.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining.

Got dirty wet and smelly but I found it! Hmm maybe should not have worn my work clothes .... nah it was worth it! Tftc
Looked for this early last year on a very wet and windy day but quickly gave up. Came back at the end of the year with GeohoundandI who had looked at the terrain rating and sussed out where it was. Of course Robin Hood was watching and the insects were biting. I'm back today to collect the other child from holiday training so made sure I had time to get down on my knees. If I had been in any doubt as to where the cache was, a spoiler picture from a previous finder confirmed it's location.
Quick find today, although Daddypig123 started looking from the other end and scared the crap out of me. Almost a suitable place for that, too.

This sure was tricky! Had to make my little brothers go in and get it for me. Good find tho. Very smart!
We had just parked and we walked to GZ. Between me and Master 10 we managed to find it. My son was brave enough to go in first, but finally decided to join in. TFTC. Definitely one of our favourites (I don't know how to add a Favourite point)
This was the last of the day. And what a way to end the day. Arrive at gz and spot something thinking it was it. But it wasn't. So Dot decided he would get out of the car and join me in the rain and have a look around too. Funny enough he was wearing his hi vis jumper he wears for work. Lol!!! So we get down to the hunt. After ruling out possibilities had a fair idea now this is about to get cold. Lol!!! And it has been raining heaps!! Not put off I make the plunge. Sure enough I come up with the find. This was so much fun today. Was the highlight of the day. A fp. Tftc
Spotted this popular highly-favourited cache and decided today was the day to have a look. Parked really close and checked up the underside of a few metal pipes as someone had mentioned an encounter with a spider. Nope, at least I got to clean all the webs out though. Headed somewhere different, a tight squeeze and feet mostly dry and the cache was found by touch, gotcha. Added a small mark and replaced as found. FP here for a different hide and a good one too.
Left the office before lunch today to take in a few caches on the way back West and to finish of todays work from home. A few stop-offs, a few DNFs and a few finds - which was nice. The weather held pleasant and it was t-shirt weather all along the trails. Thanks to all COs whose caches I found.

Interesting cache, definitely different to the others. Signed as team BDM tftc
Awesome hide! I did get a massive scare when I found the cache with a large spider clinging onto it. Fortunately, it seemed to be more afraid of me and quickly crawled off. TFTC!
Wow what a cool hide! Judging by the terrain rating and the "Bullsye coordinates" I knew where the cache would be lying. Found it pretty soon afterwards and this definitely deserves a Fp! TFTC (I didnt sign log because of covid but I took a photo of the log)
Interesting how you can still get wet feet even after weeks of drought. Not recommended for tall people. Was a bit scared of possible spiders but no problems.
While waiting for a new car stereo to be installed, tried the two events centre caches. After reading other logs, I knew some athleticism was required. Wasnt too long before a location was different to the others. TFTC.
Good spot. DO NOT DO IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEES. Luckily I'm a kid TFTC
This was a solo effort for Mr Coblet who was keen to look for this one and headed out at dusk.
There was no archery going on this evening, in fact no muggles were around at all so it was the perfect time to search, or maybe not quite the perfect time as the fading light did make it harder to spot the cache.
Once it was determined where the cache must be a spider monkey impression was needed to access GZ as it was a bit wet underfoot.
Despite having an idea as to where it would be it was still nearly missed it as it blended in so well.
This is a fantastic spot for a cache and is a great example of geocaching at its best. So much more satisfying than most uban hides.
Great cache, great camo, great location. A favourite point for sure. Thanks G-2.

Tftc. Very well hidden. Amatures helped very much. Great photo. Great disguise. Gets a fav point.
Cache No 4 of 4 on my shortcut to the Caching Connoiseur Souvenir (on Day 1 as well). This cache had fooled me the last time I came round here but perseverance paid off here today (with the help of a particular previous log) to confirm the co-ords were in fact spot on. Thankfully I came prepared with the right footwear and TOTT's and the cache eventually was in hand. Nice work here Glyn, worth every FP given so far and worthy of one extra from me. TFTC
Stopped here first but it began to rain so had to move on before coming back after the shower had past. I had trouble pin pointing where I should be the first time around and thought it was because of the weather, but we figured it out the second time and shortly after found the well hidden cache. Really nicely done here and FP for something different. TFTC
Thought I was looking for something bigger until we re-read the description again.
Early start meant I had the area to myself, there really was only one place it could be, so made my way deep undercover, checking a few areas along the way. Eventually came across something suspicious, which luckily turned out to be the cache. Thanks G-2 for the hide, and bringing me here
Called in with yk83 to take a look for this one while in the area. After looking around a few spots, we decided to trust the GPS and look somewhere a bit different and soon discovered this nicely hidden cache. TFTC - favourite point added!
Vistra and I had decided to kick off the Planetary pursue this morning and had some caches we were going to target, along with grabbing some of the local owls from the Big Hoot. I had on the suitable shoes this morning so made the uncomfortable shuffle of GZ and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
Should have had a proper read of the attributes on this one before I visited. Have an idea on where this one is, but will need to return with the proper equipment and most likely a buddy knowing what I'm like!
My car was getting some work done so I went for a quick walk to grab some nearby caches and this was cache number two.
After much searching in the most likely areas I went to try something else that looked likely - it wasn't the cache but it did (eventually) lead me to the right spot. I took two passes to find it as it's very well done and gets an FP from me.

At long last! After 33 months and three visits, travelling over 72,000 km, I found this cache at 1920Hr on 01 Nov 2017
We were caching out in beach haven enjoying the views but I noticed we were almost at our 600th find so stopped one short and decided we would make our 600th a bit more special. This meant basing it on favorites. After a bit of a hunt, we saw 31 here, well after the drive and experience, we can see why! Thank you for a fun 600th cache and here's another favorite point to add to the list (: sorry about the spoilers in the log, have amended it now (:
Jag50, Aiden29 and I decided to collect some more of the Shore caches. After a bit of a search we decided there was only one place it could be and yes it was, another sneaky hide!
Out caching in the area with Merlot58 and Jag50. Took a bit to figure out the hint, but this helped us realise where to focus, after we had exhausted all other options. Luckily I had my waterproof boots on, so I didn't hesitate to jump in and get wet. Very sneaky hide.
Out caching in the North Shore area with Merlot58 and Aiden29. Lucky we had waterproof shoes and boots, so we didn't mind getting them wet. The nearby archers must have wondered what we were up to as we appeared on the other side of the road. A cunning hide and our favourite for the day, so earns a FP.
Such a cunning hide. Nice and quiet here at night, and soon realised where I actually needed to be. Good fun, cheers
FITW Gorby
Out for some caching with gorby. I was here before, but couldn't try it as I clearly knew where the hide will be. Today Gorby was in Jandals, so volunteered to get this one. Cache is all good here. tftc.

Out and about with (Mrs) harisree and little daughter and when we came here we knew straight away who was going to search for this one! I had the jandals on she had the shoes on, so it was me that did the work here. Didn't take long to locate the goodies, but for the life of me can't understand the hint, very oblique! Nice hide G.
In the HOOD up to no good and spotted this highly favourited cache. Got to GZ and knew that the coords had to be off so looked in a couple of likely places. Then realised something that suggested GZ was probably exactly right! A great mini adventure cache, excellent camo (but I clocked it straightaway for once) and an easy fav point. Earned my Get Outdoors Day souvenir with this one! Thanks for the adventure! My first of this kind I think!
A trip up from Tauranga because the missus had to visit the Gluten Free & Allergy Show. I took the opportunity to grab as many caches as I could while she was indulging on interesting food samples. While she was in the warm and dry event center, I was out in the occasional rain downpours of typical Auckland style, but it didnt put a dampener on my hunt.
Attempted this from behind the archery clubrooms, but as soon as I came out in front of it, I realised that the whole thing was open and there were people in there. I quickly retreated as I was way too exposed for a hunt. I guess you could say, I felt like a big target and in an archery field, that aint a good thing.

Spent quite some time here. But once in correct spot it was easily spotted. Nice cache. Fav from us. 3 day road trip from Hawkes bay to Auckland and back. Great few days to grab a number of caches. Tftc
My Policy is to always have Dry Feet, as was the case today. Wet feet are not so comfortable. No need for a jack hammer or digger. TFTC
Had to come pick up Miss NZT for the long weekend so decided to head over early and do a few caches before hand.
Saw that this cache had a huge amount of fav points so we just had to give this a go. Got to GZ and actually found something that had us convinced it was the cache but a closer examination of said object revealed nothing so we had to expand our search.
Mrs NZT read some previous logs and then we knew where we had to be, as Mrs NZT had bad knees this morning Mr NZT volunteered for the recover duties. Still took him a few minutes before shouting out those magic words FOUND IT! Thak goodness it hadn't rained overnight!
A very clever hide and great camo. Gets a fav point from us as well!

Stopped on the way home to try my luck
With this one but was getting a bit to warm for me and the dog
Will return

Excellent camo and spot for a cache Wore my gumboots to make things easier and found it quickly. Great condition. TFTC.
Had some things to do "over the bridge" and stayed on afterwards to get some caches. This was the first of the day and initially there was some confusion over where GZ was. A bit of investigation sorted that and made a quick find without getting wet feet! Spent some time watching the archers too. TFTC
While eldest master Clarksonz was having a driving lesson junior Clarksonz went cache hunting. Great hiding spot. Lots of archery to watch. No wet feet.
I've been back, but still couldn't find it. I even went for an underground stoop, this time, without success!
So that was awesome. Stood at GZ for a full 10 mins contemplating whether I want to tackle this one. I'm glad I did. It wasn't hard to find once I decided that I knew where it was. Note to anyone else attempting this right now: it is wet. Be prepared. Cache was bone dry and beautifully hidden though. Torch came in handy!
Had a good look around but didn't find. Due to amount of water near GZ we'll need to come back on a day when we can get drier access.
Visited with Target Travel Bug Dog Tag to provide visit to archery range.

First of (hopefully) five today with the girls. Very nice location and genius hiding. TFTC!
Nicely placed cache! Lovely quiet day here today, able to get in and it without detection, log nice and dry. Def + fav. TFTC!
Disappointing end to my geocaching day. Found the bend in the road over a stream, but the GPS kept sending me from one end of the pipe to the other
Tried earlier in the evening but abandoned search due to archery in progress. Home for dinner then back later when quiet. Now we only had a White Faced Heron & Black Backed Gull as company. Sent in short person armed with light source and we soon had the cache uncovered. TFTC
Wished I had my gummies. I actually had a tool to use to help me find it. Looked in all the nooks and crannies on the first pass but nothing presented itself. Did a second pass and oh one of these things is not like the others. Very clever hide. TFTC ;D
Came to the North Shore today with Aunty Kym (SethRaven) Uncle Wayne came to get his new car - we dropped him off and this was our last cache for today. We walked a little way from the car and Aunty Kym said oh I know where it is and off we went - she walked in and I crawled . . . . . . . this one? NO. this one? NO. Then I spied it - tis THIS ONE!!! had our tools and a quick retrieval and signed the log book and returned the cache container to where it came from. Thanks for this hide - it was fun!
Over on the Shore this afternoon so the other half could pick up his new car. Jada of JoJa1213 is with me so we loaded a couple of caches to grab whilst over here. I quickly located GZ and in we went . . . . . . didn't need the gumboots today (whew - they were in the boot tho!) . . . . . . . I had a fair idea what we were looking for knowing Glyn and I wasn't let down. Amazeballs I love this one! Miss Jada thought it was pretty good too. We had the required tool in the kit bag and quickly signed the log and replaced the container back where it came from. Fabulous, Glyn never lets us down with his clever hides. Earns a favourite from me.
Well arriving at GZ it had me stumped. It wasnt until I saw the underlying feature of the area that I knew where to look, Just a note to farther cachers, the little black things that look like black nanos are in fact spiders and I would suggest not poking them.
Didn't find robinhood but i found the cache. Awesome hide! Very good effort, glad we went here and gave it a go. TFTC
Came down this evening not realising there was a basketball game on at the events centre. So muggles everywhere! Took a bit of finding but WaffleKitties got it for us
