It is time to go for this cache. It is due to the blackberries being overgrown. Thank you for finding it in the past. Lava
A nice early Spring day grabbing a few caches around Heathfield, Longwood, Ironbank and Scott Creek. Spent some time in the beautiful Mark Oliphant Conservation Park too??
We searched for quite a while here including using other cachers coords but didn’t find the cache. The blackberries are making a come back here??
Many thanks anyway Lava12????

We took the wrong track, but eventually found go. Then we found the wrong hole, sent a while searching the undergrowth incase it had fallen out and rolled away, but then Erin found another hole, and in it a cache! TFTC
Took us a while as we found a decoy hole and were sure it was missing. Located as soon as we were about to give up! TFTC
Container found, but lid wasn't sealed after last person and was a bit damp on the inside. Still signed and returned. Should dry out hopefully
great spot and perfect for a six year old to find. Love the history. Thanks
Today with looming COVID-19 lockdown impacts growing closer every day, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I were still determined to head out for some hiking and fitness whilst we still had the freedoms. Hence, I suggested we head down to Scott Creek Conservation Park to complete the infamous *Scott Creek Multiple" multi-cache that was the oldest multi-cache in South Australia. I had thought about doing this one for some time, so it was good to have had the weather on the right side, and only a 30 min drive from home. I never realised the history of this area, and enjoyed seeing the old buildings and shafts of the copper and silver mining that had once taken place here.
Our first stop at Scott Creek Oval, and second geocache for the day. A fair amount of blackberries along the ground, and kangaroo poo lining the area, but at least they didn't give us too many issues. I started checking the usual spots for a cache, but it was [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) with the right instincts that found the cache. The coordinates for me were about 10 m away, with my GPS indicating the cache located at S 35° 02.991' E 138° 42.473'. In defence of the coordinates, there was a lot of trees in the area causing the coordinates to bounce around a bit. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Lava12 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Gee I didn't like this one at all. Lots of blackberries which was annoying and finally found the way in. Got to GZ and searched in the obvious spots. Nothing. Expanded my search and bingo. Lots of creepy noises too which spooked me out. TNLN. Cheers.
It was a lovely day to visit Scott Creek. We had visited the Scott Creek mine site earlier this year but had not ventured any further into the area. We loved the views we enjoyed as we drove along. This cache took a little while to get to, because of the blackberries and other undergrowth, and to find. After not finding the cache at the published coordinates, we widened the search area and eventually found the cache in a good hide about 9m away. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Lava12 for the cache.
Went for a walk, the hard way in, a quick find after navigating through the prickly bushes.

Came up today to do some cache maintenance after a controlled burn destroyed the cache. found in the logical spot with good co ords.
It was raining while I was biking to the cache, but fortunately the rain quickly stopped when I got to the oval. I love the location. In the area I got to see a large variety of plants and moss, as well as a hunting kookaburra and a galah that looked like it was feeding its chicks. Very well camouflaged container, I had trouble noticing it even when I was very close to it. Favourite for this one. TFTC.
The sat-lock with the phones was jumping around a bit due to the tree cover and the cloudy day, and we found the perfect hidey spot but it was empty. We knew that a Lava cache should still be around, as they are carefully maintained, so we kept looking and then found it well camouflaged in another hidey hole - nice spot to hide - thanks for the cache!
Found on a smilie hunt almost directly south from home.
Thanks for the cache Lava12

Went to the playground here with the kids and looked on my phone. A geocache! And I haven't found it yet! Off I go while the kids played. A quick and easy one as the container was hanging out. Tried to cover it a bit better for the next person. TNLN. Cheers.
The ground on the way here was very soggy. Squelch, squelch under foot the whole way. At least the find at GZ was nice and dry. TFTC. 22/10/16, 3:50 pm Find #2976.
I was on my way home from a couple of days in Mannum and I just let the GPS take me on a leisurely drive in the hills along some of the lesser known roads and I saw these two caches come up.
After moving the car and walking the long way to GZ I realised it would have been quicker to get this one from the last one...duh.
But I did have a nice walk along the bank of the flowing creek, then had to negotiate some very wet ground underfoot before I got to GZ.
The country is so different at different times of the year and each season has its own special feel, it was really lovely here today.
Thanks for the cache Lava.

Found on a sunny Saturday with The Supermonkeys and geoDad on 20-Sep-2014. We all enjoyed a play on the nearby playground. Lots of noisy lorikeets in the trees today.
Played in the playground. Then looked here, looked there, looked everywhere. Finally found it on Saturday, 20-Sept-2014.
Did the walk from the oval to the reserve,
is quite different contrast in area in such a short space.
My conservation friend says that it's her favourite place when she need solitude.
I have to agree, it's like walking into another world [^]
So thank you lava12 for bringing me here, also liked the hidey hole.
Fav point from me

Lol- pigeon has been trying to nest here! Old log book still good, lovely and quiet today..
Found GC with GC and family after an adventure in the playground. Clever hide.
Found with Featherlump despite very unstable satelite readings and numerous cache like hidy holes to distract us from the actual hide.
Thanks lava12 for the cache.

Out early with Mogni and CpWanderer to get some nearby puzzles and anything close, ahead of the warm weather and snakes! . By now the weather was warming and my snakometre was reading 'likely' as I walked towarded the dense undergrowth. Luckily the hide was not deep in the forest and quickly found, signed and on our way across the oval. Thanks lava12.
Out for some early Sunday morning caching in the hills. A quick find and then off to the next one before we started to melt.
Thanks
Thanks
Very pretty place and great hiding spot! Some local bunnies lead the way!
Went on a huge trek for this one...should have parked near the cricket oval, but we did have fun finding a way over the creek! Love your work Lava! TFTC!
Maybe the ghost of Scott is playing silly buggers with this cache? We found it safe and sound exactly where it ought to be, but there is a wig hanging in a tree only metres from the cache. Very spooky.
Thanks lava12.
Thanks lava12.
Re-visit today and found it.
In the meantime I had sought help from Lava.
So armed with some fresh info, headed in to find.
Damn sure it wasnt there last time.
Actually there is some graffiti type writing in it, presumably from muggles, after woods entry.
Great spot

Found on pure fluke about 150m from gz. Just stumbled upon it. Placed back where I believe I should be. Lava12 contact me and I'll tell you the exact location.
Massive fail here, to my defence I can see a lot of searching has occurred around gz, so I am not the only one who doesnt see the hide first up? Lol

Looked for this one a while ago but the grass was long and the thought of snakes kept me from it.
Today however nice short grass, wet weather and a cache just waiting to be found.

A quick find in the first place I looked on a beautiful afternoon. No one around so I had the place all to myself!
Thanks to lava12 and clear skies from TeamAstro.

Made our way over from the other cache 190m away, and then weren't sure if we would find this one as we only came out for a drive with thongs on! In the end the Oregon settled down and we made a nice easy find without having to worry about snakes.

Found this one no worries today, could actually see it from a distance. Left a tb . thx lava12 for the hide.
Found in the company of mtbikeroz on a lovely day out caching.
Dad wandered off to find this while I watched the youngest cub on the much desired playground, starting to get quite cold at sundown here.
