Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. Started on the 17th September in Cairns. Our plan is driving.along the eastcoast down. Then in the south on to Adelaide and from there ending the 31th October in Alice Springs.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case groovydoo, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.
On my roundtrip along Australia with Oopie we are douing always some caches. All COs thanks for bringing us on this nice places and making this caches.
after 2nd look I found it
Day 3

#6990 Day 3 of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. A few showers at times today, but on the whole it was a very productive and interesting day. The highlight for me was the caches around Dorrigo. Quite a different feel to the coastal towns we have visited so far. We couldn't get far up "Waterfall Way" due to a landslide, but still managed to grab a lot today.
Quite spidery here today.
Thanks groovydoo

We were driving through here and had to stop for a "call of nature". Took the opportunity to have a bit of a look about at the creek, crossing and surrounds. Of course the fact that there was a nearby geocache did not escape me. Within moments I had tracked down and captured the enemy. That was easier than expected, which I was grateful for, as we had to get back on the road.
Cheers groovydoo, I appreciate you placing this cache at a lovely spot in the countryside.

With Fangsoki, Crew153 and 1MinnieMoo we have hit the Dorrigo Plateau for the weekend - having arrived up the range we did a quick loop of the area - a quick stop here checking out the river we had been seeing so far.
Thanks groovydoo for entertaining me at this location.

A road trip long weekend with Fangsoki, PPrime and Crew153, staying in Dorrigo. We could see the cache as we walked up to it from the pull in.
Thanks for the cache groovydoo.

Thanks for the cache groovydoo.
I was on an Australia Day long weekend road trip with Pprime, Fangsoki and 1MinniMoo and we had targeted caches in the area which would help us to qualify for a number of challenges.
Fangsoki and i stayed at the car and let 1MinniMoo and Pprime head to the search area as there was not that much save room near it. They had no trouble finding the cache.

1MinnieMoo, Crew 153, Pprime, and I were heading out of Dorrigo and this one was one our list to grab.
This was found after a small hunt. Pprime wanted me to pick him up on the wrong side of the road on a blind corner! Lazy git

Found in the company of alisontaylor on a glorious winter's day caching around Dorrigo. Logs signed bg&at to save space.
We stopped and had a look at the river here, then I walked up for an easy find.
Staying around Dorrigo for a few days, camping and geocaching.
A nice quick find, we took a few minutes to admire the river before we headed off in search of another cache.
Thanks for the cache

We have been staying at the free camp in Thora with our caravan and using it as a base to cache around Bellingen and Dorrigo to as far as Ebor. Fabulous countryside and we have loved the creative hides. Thankyou groovydoo for placement of this cache and sharing this special spot with us.
Today we are lucky, no flood, no rain here.
So just a cache at 10.20 a. m.

A short walk down the hill from our farmstay brought us to the very pretty river. We were soon at GZ but had to look for quite a while before I could see any part of the cache, very well hidden. Thanks to groovydo for a great cache in another top setting.
Think this maybe could do with a check over by the CO, I had a good look and was accompanied by a previous finder but to no avail. The smell from the poor demised animal drove us away.
Another groovy spot to stop on me tour of the backblocks of Coff's today
Me GPS pointied me in the wrong direction to start with
Or more correctly I just assumed where the cache was and ignored the GPS
Yeah !! I never learn !!
Fools rush in where GPS' fear to tread
Anyhoo !! After taking note of the GPS screen, I wandered back out of the muddy field and over to the nice dry spot where the cache was actually hiding
Easy find after that !!

Went straight to GZ. Looking, carefully touching - it's very cobwebby (that should be a word). Nearly gave up as I am not the tallest. Geohusband to the rescue and we had it in hand. Thanks.

After dropping our caravan at Dangar Falls Camping area its off to do the circuit.
A great Saturday morning drive, so glad we decided to do I as soon as we arrived as rain has set in this afternoon. Great country views & such a variety of caches to be found.
Obvious this isn't the area they go whit water rafting in.
Thanks groovydoo for placing these caches.

The log was wet and difficult to write on. Sorry we didn't have time to let it dry out. TFTC
this has a seriously damp log, hard to write on and re-roll without tearing. the cows nearby were quite interested in what i was doing as well. TFTC.
Found while returning home after attending Christmas in June Stanthorpe 2013 and also travelling through the Granite Belt Country, Great Cache. TFTC
After some other caches gone better stop to check, well it was still there.

Young Mitch home due to teacher strike found this moments before I saw it!! Well done Mitch!!
A quick stop and grab..nice to stop and look at these spots instead of just flashing by..Thanks Groovydoo
Found at 3.00pm GAFF1. We spotted this cache as we were approaching in the vehicle even though it was raining. That's because the container was half hanging out and it glistened in the light.
Thanks groovydoo.
Thanks groovydoo.
Could see where the Nymboida river had swallowed up a fence and left the remnants at the bridge. TFTC groovydoo.
With a week in Coffs, we spent 1 day driving around.
Kids didn't find it first go, so I stepped in. Haha kids, got it.
Thanks - Geoff Mel Leah Tara

We were listening to an exciting audio book as we were driving around today and drove past this cache and had to back up. Nice quick find here once we'd stopped near to GZ. Thanks for the geocache Groovydoo.
