Went to check on this one and it appears to be gone,as it was put here to entice people to other caches close by which we had to archive, might do the same with this one,we'll come up with something else where.
Lots of pine litter. Scratched for a while but gave up. 1m from path isn't far, saw no spots it could have been.
Started with Captain Terror's coordinates from the start on this one. Surprised and lucky to uncover this one so quickly. TFTC Fergclan.
This one took a bit of effort to find but eventually we got there, log signed and back in its hidy hole TFTC
Nearly gave up on this one, but one last determined search and we uncoverd it.
Quite evasive this one, thanks Fergclan

Is it bad to say that this area is just under 3km from home but we've never been there? So finding the cache not only gave us a smiley but also a few ideas of whats on the other side of that section sound barrier as we zoom past on the M1.
Maybe the caching gods were with us, but we had no difficulties in finding it. It just seemed to be in a logical spot.
Thanks for the cache.

I had the whole day free and the perfect opportunity to do my favourite game and to go for the goal of our 500th find by the end of the day. The target "Paradise Tranquility".
I had been down this way some time back and this one had eluded me so I was looking forward to making it a smiley.
The area behind GZ had totally changed since last time and they were doing a lot of earth moving ready for construction I assume. Anyway no one was near GZ so I was happy to be able to search freely.
I was having a fantastic day with no DNF's on the score board and this wasn't going to change that as I found its hidy hole quite quickly.
Thanks Fergclan TFTC SL TNLN

Found this one with Captain Terror after completing a mountain hike nearby with some other crazy fellow cachers.... although I think the super crazy badge might go to the Captain and myself for climbing around these hills when our legs were screaming NO! No matter... we achieved our objective and snags us some finds... this was our second to last find in the area... the Captain found it nice and easy in the first place he looked

Headed home after a strenuous hike and I noted this nice bunch of caches too close to ignore so decided to grab them all. Maybe traipsing all over this hill after that hike wasn't the greatest idea I've ever had. This was the furthest Whint and I had to walk from the car and were thankful for just that. As we passed the park and headed up a bit more hill, the GPS overshot and upon reading the logs, knew there may be a fair hunt involved. Thankfully though, the cache was in the first place I felt More luck than good co-ords for me. I posted the numbers that worked for me today. TFTC, now to turn around and head home
After three days of persistent rain we thought that this area would be took muddy underfoot to wander through looking for caches. We were very pleasantly surprised that, even though it was damp, the walking conditions were very good and we decided to tackle all the caches in the area. The cache was not where our GPS thought it should be but after widening our search area we located the cache in a good hide. TFTC Fergclan.
TFTC. My GPS was a bit out with this one but little Jackson found it after scratching around for a while.
Out and about down the coast way today grabbing a few caches.
A quick walk from the parking spot. I had a bit of a search looking for this one. I'm blaming the GPSr for taking its time to settle down.
The cache is dry. Thanks for the cache.

Found eventually, our GPS was a bit off, lucky no muggles were going past. Found with Bubblegum14. TFTC.
Lots of building going on over the fence, but they didn't see us hunting around thank goodness.
Once located we all sat down and enjoyed the swaps, return to hidey spot safe and sound.

Nice stroll through the park and up the track. Had as guy on the scooter whizz by. I hid in the bush. Found cache safe and sound. TFTC.
I happened to be in Coolangatta on business, so when finished I turned the GPS on and came up with a little cluster of caches just asking to be found. Stormy weather but there was a brollie in the car so I decided to brave it.
Decided to read the logs before hunting too much. Thanks LLJ for the best hint. I had just put the cache down on the path and pulled out the log when a postie on a motor scooter came roaring around the corner. I don't know who got the bigger fright.
Seven caches completed, now how the heck do I get back to the car without completely retracing my steps? Advice to others. Just retrace your steps!! I ended up taking a longer hillier way back and if it wasn't for the GPS I'd probably still be out there.

Scratched around for a while, like others, adding to the goescars. Then read the clue. My advise to others, read the clue, take a tape measure. . Thanks.
My last cache on Tugun Hill. Now to walk all the way back to the car at the starting point.
No DNF's on the walk that included 7 caches.
A fine start to 2012
Thanks

We walked to this one to find people on the path, the usual thought "oh no, hope they keep moving". But these people were looking for something, I so wanted to do the innocence act and say "have you lost something?" but instead just asked if they had found it. We were blessed that this then gave us many more eyes to help us hunt. It is really great to meet other cachers and confirm you are not the only mad people out there. TNLN TFTC
Tables were turned this time for a change. Mr L&L had this in hand while I was trying to make some sense of the GPS.
Log signed and cache returned. TFTC

Parked in the cul-de-sac as suggested and strolled to this GZ. Must be nice to have the government/council go to the trouble of building you a personal overbridge. I wonder if they cut off access with the bypass, or the property owner is just super rich? Found the cache after a few false starts. I gotta say, I HATE 'EM IN PINE NEEDLES TN/LN/SL and set off for the two nearby caches.
Second time here found it with more eyes and more hands makes it easyer thanks muff1 met more geocachers TFTC
Mrs Mad found this one - dog is still barking madly!!! Some
swapping of items was done but we left more swaps behind than we took! Thanks
For the cache relieved to find it after Mr Mad argued with the gps and it's mapping and we did some
Driving both ways on the freeway!!!!

Diane was able to find cheap airfares to the gold coast on a weekend that all three members of Team Crackers could organise time off. After the booking was confirmed we realised it was the start of schoolies so we decided on a Southern Queensland / Northern New South Wales inland assault. We pulled up and thought for a brief second that the cache may be hidden on the play equipment but a quick glance at the GPSr showed us that this was not the case. We headed off along this great little walking track following the needle until it indicated that we had arrived at GZ. A quick search soon saw us adding our name to the log before rehding the container. That has to one of the most elaborate driveways we have ever seen, whoever lives there must be very influential or very rich (likely both).
Thanks Fergclan for the cache.

Little way off with the co-ords for us here. widened the search zone a little further up the path and located a nicely hidden cache. Now only one more to track down, and it's on the way back to the car. Great lets get going.

This one had us scratching around for a while until Stairman1 uncovered it. Signed the log and then had to decide the best way to get back to the car. TFTC
Well hidden. Dog didn't want me to find it. Took 2nd visit to find

We enjoyed our walk in the area. Found after a short hunt and now it's back to the car at the top of Tugun Hill! TFTC.
Dropped the wife off to do some shopping, and i would do some caching for a few hours

Couldn't get much closer to the bypass than this. Amazingly not too noisy. Cache found without too much trouble. TFTC
We were in the area for the weekend and headed out just on dusk to look for the cache which we found after a short search. TFTC Fergclan
Found it No. 3777 ... tricky area to find ... easy located ... took geocoin and left Chinese Coins ... TFTC
Where? Logging this in Coolangatta but when I wrote the log thought we'd probably be home in Auckland by the time we submitted it. This is our 8th find today and likely last of this trip. We've had great fun caching and otherwise. Amazing that the fancy overpass is private and also that the wall so effectively blocks noise. PINO TFTC
Found this one in a few moments. Travel near there every day! Great little playground too for the geo jnrs. Swapped green pop thingy for geocoin Pigs Might Fly. Little piggy had a prolonged layover due to engine maintenance aircraft. Piggy flies again. Thanks
Looked for about an hour, followed the decryption, but still couldn't find it. Very grassy also didn't want to run into any snakes! Might look again soon.
EDIT: Looked for it a few hours later and found it within a few minutes TFTC

Neat hidden location. After clue cache quickly in hand.Impressive overpass in the distance. TFTC.
Cache 7 for the day. Its well hidden, but the real challenge was trying to not look suspicious when the muggles were walking past.
Search a 'little high and a little low' for about 15 minutes but got no rewards. Logs say its there so will be back.
Good hide found at 13:10. Had to use the phone a friend option. I was right on GZ but didn't look hard enough. found in the end by looking a bit harder.

Thx Fergs for the cache.

I was checking out the area with Fangsoki and Team Lokipagan.
We had a few set of eyes and after a bit of scratching around the cache was found.
Thanks for the cache Fergclan.
While signing the log one of those pesky cache stalking ninjas jumped on in.

Took a bit of scratching around before Radnoski got this one. Ahh so that's what the overpass is for! We were curious. Thanks Fergclan
This was in an interesting area I had never been in before. My help on the search for this one was limited while helping a friend with another cache on the phone. Thankfully Radnoski spotted the well hidden beast. It was in good condition. TFTC Fergclan
After completing the nearby series, we decided to go and search for this one – after all, we have found all the Fergclan’s other caches! We walked up toward GZ and looked high and low, but turned up empty handed. After 20 minutes of searching, we decided to go and grab some lunch. I might need to ‘phone a friend’ for this one, and come back next time I’m in Tugan.
After a stroll around the park found this cache just before it started to rain
grabbed it s/l then back to the car thanks for the cache Fergclan

Local knowledge allowed me to get through the back streets. Left a frog took nothing signed the log. 3rd to find. After the find I went to my brother's place and delivered a princess/Cinderella dress and jewels for my 8yr old niece's birthday. She loved it.
I have heard that the private bridge was built at the expense of the GCCC! The resident of that plush house didn't want an entrance off the motorway and demanded the council put the bridge in!!! Amazing what money can do.
Co -ords are for parking for a short walk.

A nice new cache and a new book. Fourth to find... No prizes for fourth...lol
A nice excuse to see another part of QLD that I wouldn't have visited otherwise. Thanks Ferglan. TNLN.

In this area not too far away today, but could not leave for an hour or so. Found our way round to gz thinking there must be some local cachers who would have grabbed the chance for a FTF before we arrived - found the cache, wow...no other logs - a FTF for us!! Thanks Fergclan for this new cache and the FTF flag. Logged at 2.45pm. Back down the track and met Aussie Liahona just parking up - that was close!
Thanks for the new cache Fergclan. We were very, very busy today cleaning up the garage. Didn't get to look at the computer for hours and when I finally did there was a new cache published. Had to make hubby a couple of sandwiches, he was starving, that he could eat on the way down while I drove. Darn! Had he stayed hungry we could have been first to find. PPTrekerz beat us to it by only a few minutes. Congrats PPTrekerz. Nice cache, all clean except for one log, hee, hee. Added our signature, in second place, and left to place a few caches not very far away.
