Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Looks like this one has gone missing. We will replace next time we are up this way. Shouldn't be too long.
A DNF for us here this evening. Our indicated GZ was wandering around 15m back and forth along the track, but there seemed to be one spot more likely than the rest. Even so, some careful searching failed to produce the cache. Phoned a friend, who confirmed that we'd been looking in the right place. Hope it is still there somewhere. Thanks anyway to RollaB, KatKids and jackam.
DNF in the company of maccamob and Robmc at 6:04:41 PM.
After a very successful day caching in the Mornington Peninsula we thought we do a few caches in the hills before returning to our temporary home in Monbulk. We found the right track and then promptly went straight past GZ and searched around in the general bush for a few minutes. We then started to think of the most likely spot and it was confirmed later on by Alansee (a previous finder) that where we were looking was pretty much where the cache was situated - however we could not see a thing and we got quite muddy in the process (maybe not a 1.5 terrain after all!)
Sorry ther isn't a story about a loved one in this log - will have to wait when we actually find it.
Thanks Gloria for showing us this part of the hills.

Unfortunately, as Pprass says, we were not successful here today.
A really nice spot for a walk. We were looking at all the slippery logs over the creek knowing we need to cross it some time. Fortunately, someone had provided a bridge. We had a good look around there.
We shall return.
Thanks, Robmc.

After being sick for the best part of two days, I had to get out of the house this fine sunday morning.
There were quite a few muggles on the nearby oval, but once I got to GZ, not a single person about. Watch out for leeches when heading to this cache. A nice easy find. TNLN
Thanks to Rolla B for the cache.

Second Cache ever, found it with my step sister after an unsuccessful first attempt. Left some lovesick poems, hope they give someone a laugh or are of use to some creative person. Took a Travel Bug, Sam the Koala, not sure what that means yet but I will find out! Lovely spot.
Make sure you visit Monbulk Swimming Pool while you're around, and look out for the lifeguard called Helen (me!):)

A quick find in a classic spot for a cache. Peacful walk in and lucky as there were very few muggles around. Left TB "Koala" took nothing. TFTC RollaB

Out caching with Slink1 and Combust4 while on a quick visit back home. Caching is as caching does. TFTC SL
Last one for the afternoon as the light was now almost gone. Recent rain gave the forest a wonderful smell. The GPS was wandering so thanks for the clue! Slink 1 found this one as I was trying to keep the boys out of the creek! TFTC Nice location.
Tnln tftc. School holidays, muggles around but the track was clear of people. Nice easy find.
Like others my GPS was pointing away from the obvious place, but logic won out. Thanks for the cache in a lovely spot.
ok so we all most waded across the creek, hehe glad we spotted the bridge, we soon found the cache as we could see it from some distance away.

Found this one whilst assisting a friend with an event, tootled off down the track with my trusty GPS and torch to discover it was going to be a harder find than expected.. I overshot where my GPS was pointing and went straight to where it turned out to be, however it was another 5mins at least before I found it.. I should have had a propper look.. Instead I returned to where my GPS was pointing, then tried everywhere within 15m before returning to where I'd first looked.. Thanks RollaB for find # 1243..
This is a wonderful area, and a great one for a cache. With the heavy tree cover, my GPS initially led me a few metres further along the track. I didn't think it likely, but gave it a cursory glance. When I returned to where I thought it would be, I discovered it out in the open and very plainly visible.
After logging my find, I gave the owner a call to verify where it should be. My suspicions were confirmed, and the cache was returned to its proper hiding spot. I'm surprised that no-one had touched it since the last finder. Thanks RollaB, KatKids and jackam for an enjoyable cache in a great area.

Nice clean & dry cache, very muddy and slippery next to the creek BE CAREFUL or you'll be swimming with the fishes. Nice photo of Gloria, glad to visit her here. Very nice place, understand your feeling for the area.
