Found it with the same. Peeps in the same day! We were a bit stuck looking under the wrong tree haha!
This one was really fun to find! even th we were looking under the wrong tree we still managed to find it and left a little thing!
Out and about enjoying the end of 2023. We were supposed to be in at St Bathans for the Christmas New Year break but the winds decided differently for us, so now having road trips instead. Pleased to start 2024 with a smilely .... now to keep going and make 2024 a great year
Cycling from Millers Flat to Lawrence. Day 3 of our adventure and a relatively short ride today. There were two conifers over the fence, freshly primed. We couldnt find anything on the road side of their bases.
Day 4 on our holiday in New Zealand. On the way from Te Anau to Queenstown over Dunedin, we also visited this traditional cache, found it, and signed the logbook.
***T4T$ - Many Thanks to Onslow Fisherman for hiding and maintaining of this cache s*** ️

JDScout and I stayed at Lawrence last night and will stay here another night. There's plenty to explore in this area. Your cache helped me discover that. I dropped off a travel
After a lovely lunch at the Beaumont Hotel we are returning home with Mr & Mrs VDH56 from completing (apart from one cache)on the back road to Beaumont Once again Mr VDH56 found this one.
Just the most minor of minor detours off the cycle trail to collect this one. TFTC
Travelling through to Cromwell grabbing a few smilies on the way. Cool history from the legendary OF yet again. Cache in good order a fairly easy find.
Need 50 today for a Geocaching Licence Challenge. Thanks for all CO's placing these, especially those with safe parking. This is number 48. Picked up TB.
Out and about in my cachemobile trying to locate caches between Beaumont and Lawrence.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Cache 808 nice quick easy park and grab even though you need quite long arms…. There is a TB “the butterfly effect” in the cache atm I have only discovered it leaving it there for someone else to help along, cache is in great condition T4TC
Left my calling card here. Cheers. Is this on private property??
Thursday 12 November. Its exploring the Clutha River today to Beaumont and back down to Lawrence. Lets get moving Toby.
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Thanks stopped for the cache under the bridge for the shadow in the latest challenge so got my head light out of the car to walk down and find this one. Phone light not the best to find cache and sign the log.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 8 of our extended Easter break, today we are travelling from Clyde to Dunedin via Lake Mahinerangi on a beautiful Anzac day.
A short detour on a side road to get this one. TFTC.

Stopped for a quick park and grab, didn't hang around long as there was a wedding up the road so quite a few cars around. TFTC
Found on a cycle ride down the Clutha Gold Trail Roxburgh to Lawrence. A lovely ride with vistas of the Clutha River, the soft spring green growth on the willows and snow on the tops TFTC

Smallest chick was rather fascinated with the small shed on the property! Easy cache to find but we covered it up a bit.
Stopped by this wee spot this beautiful morning and thought I'd drop a TB in, as Ive had it longer than I should....
Quite out in the open, so placed a wee blanket from the surrounding locale - will keep the frosts off.
This cache has been receiving some maintenance from the little ladies. OF must've been a hell of a good sort to have so many friends. I am aware from the logs that the property owner knows about the cache and the gate isn't locked. I did however have no trouble reaching through the fence to grab the cache so there really is no need to cross the fence but I seen someone has pushed the wire down a little. The cache was just sitting there nice and dry under the big tree in the first place I looked, not hidden. I SL and the cachette changed the big bag keeping all the goodies together. Staying at Miller's Flat Campground, travelling to Gabriel's Gulley & Lawrence & pick up a few caches along the way. An easy find. Logbook lovely & dry. TFTC
On my way from Dunedin to Alexandra, I wanted to find some caches along the way. Today it's Good Friday and all the people that only drive on days like this were in front of me. From Allanton to Glenore I never exceeded 80, pfff.... So I was very happy to pull out of that slow stream and started caching.
Think I saw another Geocacher at Chinese Camp while passing it. Read his nickname in this log book, dated today. But I'm not so sure about this cache; it looks like it has been placed on private land, hence the closed gate (with lock) and the fence you need to bend over to reach the cache, but not a word about it in the description. That's strange.

The crossing is currently sporting a string of Chinese Lantern fairy lights. TFTC #9950
Things are heating up in Lawrence. Not quite the crucible like Alex but a nice breeze keep the heat in check. No need to cross any fences or pass through any gates. The 400ml was kinda just sitting there under the hint, easily grabbed though the fence. SL, threw in some swag in new baggy and popped it back, under a stump. TFTC Jim.
Today We Decided an exploration trip was required to check out Lawrence rather than just past through as normal and as this was on the way a quick stop was required. The cache was quickly located and with a stretch retrieved, signed and replaced. All ok with the cache here. Thank you for the cache and another smiley face.
A quick park and grab on while on my way home from Cromwell. Left Cromwell early today so I had time to stop and get a few caches that I have been past many time and never had time to stop. So TFTC
Wanted to find and where necessary help maintain Onslow's caches in the area. This one is all good, nice dry, plenty of log space and container all good.
The farmer came past as I was replacing and asked me if I found it ok He said since the cache was placed they had to put a fence up but the gate is never locked so instead of jumping the fence could have walked around lol.

The cache seems to be hidden on private property and the cache page doesn't say that it was placed with permission, so we decided not to look for this one.
Interesting spot with excellent interpretative panel near by. Such a pity the rail trail doesnt follow the orginal.
My 1000th find. Yay. Was out in the open so replaced to meet the description criteria.
Worth the short walk from the main road to see the older type houses. Cache very easy to find
A slight detour off the bike track while on the return leg to Lawrence after bike ride to Beaumont.
Quickly found after having to jump the fence onto private property?, Love the history of the area in this series, TFTC OF
As there is no hint in the description that this cache has been hidden with the permission of the property owner we were a bit reluctant to jump over the fence to look for the cache. But anyway, we did and found the cache.
The final part of the trail to Lawrence was great- it follows the Evans Flat loop, past the stockyards and the station platform, and thanks to this cache writeup we knew what we were biking over. Thanks OF!
Have just seen Woody's log- nice of the property owner to humour us!

Found with Hinemoana on our way to queenstown had a nice break to stretch our legs.

Have been meaning to get this one a few times when driving past on the main highway but somehow the turnoff escaped me made a point of stopping today on the way to Queenstown for a nice quick find - TFTC!!!
Watched by the farmer down the rode, he drove past on his ATV having a good look. TFTC #690

Firsy in a day going up the Clutha to see the gold dredge in action. Stopped off here to grab the cache and sign log book. Thanks Onslow Fisherman.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We are currently on holiday in Southland, visiting from Auckland, together with HOLE-IN-ONE2, who is visiting from the UK. Today we decided to tackle a challenge we have been meaning to do for a while and with a big drive planned today thought it would be a good chance to complete it, 50 caches in one day, each cache at least 1km apart from all the others! A nice quick easy find, TFTC
