location has become overgrown with prickly weeds, houses spiders and possibly snakes.
The last Wednesday Wanderings for the puzzled puzzlers before heading off over the border for the Melbourne Mega next week. So Anymules has started his leave for that and today's crew was him, myself, S.A. Sewer Rats and Doctor Owl. Heading southwards today towards Victor we took two cars so the Owl could fly off early. A very long day (and night) that stretched into the next day before I got home but plenty of smilies, laughs and three of those dreaded DNF's.
But first I had to get down to the rendezvous point on the southern suburbs. So of course I made the detour to grab a few caches along the way.
Oh the screening prickles (Acacia Bastardo) are growing quite nicely. No way to get the cache with a scratch or two. So a couple of scratches and cache was in hand.
**Thanks Team GeoMac for this cache. **

Loved having trek up into the unknown! Switched out a toy skateboard for and metal toy car!
Could not found it we were right on top of it according to the map. we looked in all the prickle bushes but no luck
An Owl and a Rat set out to find caches around some maintenance Owl had to do. They didn't start well, with almost as many DNFs as finds. After lunch things got better, if a bit more confused. (Owl blames the lack of coffee!) This one took some searching, as Tracy likes to hide her treasure in unpleasant places.
An Owl and a Rat went a caching on a lovely sunny day.
Found the cache, but had to devise a way to get the cache without getting scratched.
Not a fan of these bushes.
The Owl found away to get the cache. Tftc

Left the hound at home and headed out to find a few caches south of home. Got to make the most of not being at work TFTC
Very easy find it was hanging right out of its hiding spot. Put back a little better hidden but still visible.

A short walk from the car, assumed where I had to trek and there it was, right in front of me when I stopped. A little to obvious unfortunately.
No prickle worries, though the cache is well protected by them.
Put back in its hi-die hole, a little more concealed though

Visiting friends in Woodcroft with TT016...a quick find though a tad prickly getting it...TFTC Team GeoMac
The streak continues at 95 days now.
I had been refereeing volleyball at Noarlunga Leisure Centre and Chelle and came to pick me up.
She couldn't believe she hadn't found this one and it seemed a good candidate to get our cache today.
Avoided all obstacles and enjoyed the city lights from up here.

I walked straight past it and didn't see it for looking! Good thing Apty did
Quite a dumping area around here, sadly. The lights are pretty at night, though.

Decided to go for a walk around the block...this big block and grab some caches. Found this one in the middle of a prickle bush. Managed to pick it out without too many scratches. Tftc.
An after work Wednesday caching run with Moneydork and locus cache where we hit up the south again, to grab some of the new listings as well as avenge some old DNF's.
The last find for the evening for me, and it was a team effort. Moneydork held the spiky plant life back, and reached in and grabbed the hide.
This was find number 15 of 15 for the evening for me. TFTC Team GeoMac!

Sticks, spider webs and a snake but nothing stopped me conquering this cache! Thanks!
Found It!
I had to park a bit up the road but a quick find after walking back to GZ. Nice views from up here!

A quick find by my geo-son with his keen eyes. What a beautiful morning.
Thanks

Prickle bush wasn't fun easy find but nearly wasn't going to bother because of bush TFTC
Damn prickle bushes - I bet they weren't that overgrown when the cache was placed .

Here with a previous finder, no luck for us today the only part we found was the stash note, while on a afternoon's caching down south with Mattycat and Sebastbat TFTC
Dropped in here while caching the area with Sebastbat and Froghoppin.
Despite previously finding the cache, today no sign of it. Almost.
In amongst the roadside rubbish, Sebastbat found a small stash note.
At best, the cache is missing its stash note, at worst it needs replacing.
Might be worth a check, Team GeoMac thanks.

After finishing work at woodcroft decided to grab a few local caches before heading home, log book was outside of the cache container, was about to head back to the car to get a container when i spotted it under the plastic bag. TFTC
I am right on top of it, according to the map, but was unable to find it. Disappointed, as this was my first one.
TFTC! Great hiding spot! Took me a while to find it. Got a thorn in my finger ouch
Visited the cache this afternoon to freshen up contents and ensure enough log roll left.
I had an appointment in Strathalbyn, so left muggle partner at his mother's and I drove through to Strath.
Found 2 caches and had 1 DNF on my return journey.
A quick find, SL and then off again.
That's some treasure inside the fence

A quick detour on our way home from work soon had this cache in hand.
We lived not far from here a few years ago and we must say this is one busy road these days.
Thanks Team GeoMac for the cache, the clue was handy as we needed this to be quick before people wondered what we were up to.
Found, signed and replaced safe and sound.

Felt a bit like playing frogga when crossing the road!!! Nothing like muggles watching you from their cars. Haha tftc!
There are quite a number of stumps along this particular stretch of road, but we located the correct one on our third try.

Came riding up here with fredfonky... quite a hill. Found the cache without too much trouble but was disappointed with the lack of treasure. Never mind. Got honked at by a passing car... honestly... can't people accept there is a logical and legal reason for doing something that looks exactly like a drug swap?
