Driving from Clyde to Dunedin today. Stopped for a very small number of caches, the weather being cold and raining at times. It was wet when I went after this one. Fortunately it was a quick find! #7354. TFTC.
Nice cache to stop for, although my main motivation to get this cache specifically is to fill in a Hidden Date gap. All fine here, although the very long grass made it slightly precarious to get down to. Tftc!
Got this on the 21st of the 8th with hookednz but only now on another trip through the gorges have i seen i forgot to log it
Parked up off the road a little way from the location on a side road and spotted the cute little old railway building which I have never noticed before despite driving by this way many times. Then took a bit of a wrong path - thought cache would be on the rail trail cycle way near the old rail building so wandered down the cycle path, wasn't until I checked my app that I realised it was actually right on the roadside, so backtracked, took a roadside walk instead, and easily found it. Tftc.
Watching where we parked, MrVDH56 found this one, Nice day and interesting to see things being restored. Thanks to P&Vee and Hubbies for a great days caching. TFTC
After a lovely lunch at the Beaumont Hotel we are returning home with Mr & Mrs VDH56 from completing (apart from one cache)on the back road to Beaumont. Mr VDH56 did the work to find this one. The shed is covered in scaffolding so nice to see it being done up.
Quick park and grab here. Highway quite busy as everyone is heading home to go back to work tomorrow. Me included!
Thanks for the cache, Onslow Fisherman

Need 50 today for a Geocaching Licence Challenge. Thanks for all CO's placing these, especially those with safe parking. This is number 45. Nearly there.
Cache 802 Yay that 3 for 3 caches in this little town, cache is a quick park and grab just mind the fast flowing traffic if crossing the road, cache is in excellent condition T4TC
First find traveling up to Hawea today. Traveled past many times, stopped once but cant remember why it was a DNF. Easy find today.
I've often passed this and wondered what it had been. The station building looks to have been restored now, though the goods building still in original state. Great to have some info on it. The replacement log is still nice and dry and in place. TFTC.
A wonderful day for a day trip to central and to find/place geocaches around the area. Also got some shopping done at the fruit and veg stalls. Got to this one before sunset or the rain started. All good thanks to TD replacement.

* 20+ years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* All the 20s and now 21 as well!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](http://nzmega.com) - you won't want to miss it!

Wednesday 11 November. Its Balclutha, Stirling, Tokomairiro, Waitahuna, Mt Stewart windfarm and back to Balclutha today. Lets get exploring.
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Parked outside the Farm Supplier's yard across the road since we were heading north to Lawrence and walked over the Geo Zone. It is a wery busy road and I had my best caching camouflage on, farming olive drab greens. I have perfected the art of Performing important-looking fence inspections aha ha ha but don't forget to wave with one hand while you are hiding the cache in the other hand tucked under jersey. Found a wee wet box in the hide at the hint place and cleaned the seals up a bit after wiping out the plastic con. After threw in some swag, the goods got grabbed a new poly baggy. Might last a little longer with good carers. Thanks for all your caches Jim aka Onslow Fisherman.

Quick find after a long walk back along the road, because we went past it.
Cache all good.
Cache all good.
A quick find, hardest part is park close enough and getting to the cache without getting muddy. But Jo did a fine job, all good here, TFTC Onslow Fisherman.
Day three of a week on the road, Wanaka to Dunedin.
As we had a late arrival into Wanaka the previous night, it would be a shame to leave this town without checking out the views. So a cool morning and a walk around the waterfront to get some caches and photo ops, then after that a visit to Puzzle World, where Jo has never been.
After that, our targets were pretty loose - three caches around Roxburgh (one DNF), and a couple of others on the way there. Then, once we had made contact with the family and had rendezvous details for Dunedin we grabbed some PnGs on the way - just ones our side of the road worked well as a plan and got us to Dunners on time.
Got into our excellent digs, settled in with a walk round the neighbourhood and caught up on gossip. TFTC to all COs of the caches we found on the way.

Shows what 50 years of neglect does to a building. I can remember when the branch line was still operating.
Logged with GCDroid. On a quick trip to the big smoke to do a bit of retail therapy. Handy grab roadside. Cautious not to look too suspicious to passers by. Great cache. Tfth
Driving from Dunedin to Alexandra. A quick stop and find. TFTC Onslow Fisherman.
FITW FMZ & rosmar
On a road trip around South Island. We started from Christchurch yesterday late evening. After driving through the night we managed to pick some old caches and have a brief stop over at Omaru geofest. We ran into rosmar at some point and now we are heading for another FTF attempt together. Had no trouble in finding this one. tftc.

Down for a weekend roadtrip with harisree and ran into rosmar so headed off for some caching together and an FTF. Stopped here for a quick find on the way past.
After an early start this morning and then a flight from Auckland we were really looking forward to a weekend of caching in our old stomping ground.
By coincidence we caught up with some caching friends at a cache in Mosgiel so we continue our adventures in convoy.
No problems with the find but it’s starting to get a bit chilly and we’ll soon need the head lamps TFTC.

Yes the log is still damp - but I used ink instead of lead and it worked fine - more exchanges made here
SL with the little woman. She cleaned and dried the seals and I didn't find the logbook to be too bad to sign. These little boxes are quite good wee caches if no dirt or grass gets into the seals when they're getting found regularly. TFTC Onslow Fisherman. Cache might last for a wee bit longer if it's cared for better.
Spotted something moving around in the grass as I wen for this one. Dont know who was the most scared
The goods have seen better days. Good views of them from GZ though. They could probably tell a story or two as well. TFTC #9928
Day # 2 in New Zealand on a geocaching holiday-trip covering Thailand, Australia and finally my beloved NZ .
I had so much looked forward to return to this beautiful country, and now I'm here again - awesome!
Today the journey took me southward from Dunedin to Invercargill and Bluff . Took a detour to cover more caches on the route
Mission accomplished!
At the end of the busy day I arrived in Bluff after driving approximately 300 km with my cute little green car and had happily collected 28 caches on the route and in Buff [^].
Here another cute little Takeaway at the side of the road.
Hey - New Zealand, you have awesome caches [^] [:X]! Almost all in great shape. [^]
So thanks to all the Owners involved [:X] [:X] for hiding and maintaining. [^]
Cheers from Germany

This was a cache that i had found on an earlier trip but had not logged so i checked today that i had signed it. and took a photo this time of the terminus.
I am en route to central Otago after flying into Dunedin and picking up daughters car left at the airport for me, to look after grand kiddies for a couple of weeks, which will be a great delight as i dont get to see them very often living so far from us, in the North Island.
Many thanks for this cache and another smiley face.

Well have an opp on my shoulder about 4 weeks ago and still got about 4 weeks to go before I'm back at work so I thought I would come visit some friends in Cromwell for a few day. Great location Shame the buildings have gone to ruin but I suppose it costs a lot of money to keep these buildings looking good. Lots of wild life making lots of noise as I approached the GZ some ducks and weka. Container was wet on the inside but log was ok a wee bit damp to TFTC ☺
Parked the camper down the nearby street and walked back. Great to see the old buildings still standing tftc
Thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found today on our way from Milton to Lawrence and Roxburgh.
TFTC and greetings from Belgium.

A clamber down the bank of a busy road soon had this cache in hand. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
