Velk cesta do Ocenie - den 57 - Invercargill, Southland - Te Anau, Fjordland, South Island, Nov Zland (asi 250 km) Uvtalo m slunen rno a 15C a motorki vude kolem. Southern Scenic Route je zejm vyhledvan nejen turisty. Po sndani jsem polovila pr keek ve mst a stavila se v zednsk li na WC a pak jela do Bluff, nejjinjho msteka Jinho ostrova. Tady cesta kon a zem taky. Cel den bylo ndhern kolem 17C a slunce a v horskm dol pak naveer a 21C. Proda vude krsn. Jela jsem kolem nkolika jezer a mokad, pes ky, kde jsou jednoproud mostky, i mal osady a provoz tu byl u minimln. Cestou jsem lovila keky a dky nim navtvila teba starou kolu z 19.stolet i pkn star etzov most. In the morning I found a few caches in the city and then went to Bluff to the land end and to get an old cache on the hill. Again, a bit of a struggle with nature, but not so terrible. If you hit the right path, it works. Then I continued along the Southern Scenic Route around the coast and caches and reached the lake in Te Anau in Fjordland. Along the way, I saw a lot of beautiful places like the old chain bridge or the old school. I had a nice day. Thanks to everyone for the caches and greetings from the Czech Republic.
Collected this on the way back to Invercargill as it's another minute for the SI 300 Minutes challenge. Already qualify but I thought it'd be cool to see how many minutes I could get, so I'm still working on this. Another quick stop and find, thanks for the placement TFTC farmer2some, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 4 find(s) of 6 today, making this find #4374
We are heading out exploring Southland after a weekend of BMXing. This is our first for the day. Yahoo! TFTC and the smiley .
Main objective today again was logging solved puzzle caches and anything else on the way. It was a great day with even the tide cooperating. TFTC
Out and about finding caches in the wider Riverton area, some solved puzzles and a mix of other types.
Thank you for the cache.

It didn't take us long to discover this cache. The log book is a bit of a mess, but usable. Thanks for placing this cache.

We are slowly heading back home after finishing the hump ridge track , picking up few caches on the way. It was an incredible three days of pure magic. Thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.
First searched the very obvious spot but dont know.. going blind may be.. then widened the search area and after spending almost 5 whole minutes at every possible place, found it ultimately from the first spot itself. Story of a cacher eh..

Lovely place, beautiful late afternoon. It may need new box and plastic bag, log book very wet. Cheers.
Nice hide although quite in the view of muggles. Logbook is very wet as bag is broken. Very nice spot!
I am enjoying a little holiday in Southland and Stewart Island and today I'm based in Riverton and exploring the surrounding area. A quick find here, the log book is very damp. Tftc!

(# 6119). Day 8 of my South Island odyssey. Today is getting some caches between Dunedin and Invercargill/Riverton as well as having a good look around. A quick find in a nice hide. Everything in order. TFTC
Cache 165 nice quick park and grab on the way into Riverton, I did wonder how many eyes were on me from the rest home . Got back to the car to find the dogs had stood on the keys and locked me out thank god I had the back window open enough I could reach in and unlock the door PHEW lesson learnt always take keys with you! Rock bug added to cache T4TC
Day 15 of my 2020 NZE (New Zealand Experience).
(My apologies for the delayed logging but I'm still in catch-up mode)
Seeing as I can't be in America right now, I'm touring around the South Island instead. During my time here I am aiming to find as many of the TMGT caches as I can (preferably all 41) and also as many Virtuals, Earthcaches and Letterbox Hybrids as possible, plus any Trads or others that will fill a hole in my D/T grid, my Jasmer grid, or else the last 3 remaining Hidden Dates on that grid.
I haven't been this far south since my very first holiday to NZ back in 1988, so this part of my tour is a chance to pay Southland a long overdue visit. And of course this is my first time here as a geocacher, so plenty of scope to find caches galore! Today's plan was to spend the morning in and around Invercargill before making my way over towards Monkey Island and then meandering my way up to hopefully get to Queenstown by nightfall. Having had a bit of damp weather over the last day or so, it was good to get the sun back today.
There was no other vehicles around as I pulled off the highway, so I was able to walk over to GZ and conduct my search without interruption. No problems finding this cache and there were no issues with the cache or the log, so I was able to complete the usual caching administration before the whole lot was replaced exactly as found.
Thanks for placing this cache.

Eighth day of a two week motorhome excursion, heading via the Coast to the lower South Island, picking up a few caches along the way – eight today. Meandering from Tuatapere to Invercargill today. Took a moment or two to figure out where this one was. Good hide! #3364. TFTC.
The reserve looked interesting but paths very overgrown

Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.
