Some lazy Monday caching after the MEGA as I decide when I'll point the car towards Christchurch, which is home. Sweeping up some solved puzzles and a couple of others that I'm driving past.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap) Were here for Geo Toroa (Dunedin Mega). Between flight cancellations and re-routing, things could only get better, right? But wait, theres more! Somewhere on our caching escapades, I dropped my wallet (Tuesday) Its still at large, so if anyone finds itOne of us usually drives, the other is the retriever. That works for us. Weve either logged caches with our separate handles, or weve used FANGS to sign the logbook. Using the latter handle is more for mental health and well being. Its tiring having to write 15 + characters on each logbook Weve joined MDF - Our BoP Teammates. Our goal is to put a few more smilies onto our geomap to the north of Dunedin. This was one of the caches we visited and found successfully. Thanks OIL STRIKE. TFTC.
Down here for the Dunedin Geo Toroa Event from the sunny Bay of Plenty,Tauranga and are with some of Team BoP. Great to get together with our fellow cachers. Signed Logs MDF. (McJandals,Davidson clan & NZ Flossy)I am logging using the Cachly App and using their template option which helps with my memory for logging. I genuinely thank every CO for their time and effort put into these caches. Much appreciated.
Down in Dunedin for the Mega event. Travelling with Davidsonclan and McJandals. Really fun to be out and about with the team and catching up with other cachers friends from everywhere. Thanks to all the organisers and all the COs for some great caches. It is certainly a lovely area of New Zealand TFTC
Down in Dunedin for the Mega this weekend with McJandals and NZFLOSSY. Signed the log sheet MDF Thanks for the cache.
Lots of dogs barking opposite else nice and quiet. Looks like an interesting place to visit one day.
Found on a nice drive in the area. Stunning day today. Nearly at my target so will slowly make my way home
After a couple of very wet days in Dunedin, StreetWalkerNZ and I woke to a glimpse of blue sky and sun but with more rain predicted, we started early to make the most of the good weather on our drive north to Moeraki. We had time, to do a wee tiki tour around Palmerston and environs.
There was only one place the cache could be, but it wasn't 1 1/2 terrain but SW scrambled up to look anyway and there was the cache. TFTC.

#19189. Made a quick find once I clambered up to where the cache was. TFTC.
2020 hasn't been the best year for geocaching for a number of reasons so we decided a road trip from Dunedin was in order.
Caching our way from Palmerston, through Macraes and back to Mosgiel via Middlemarch.

Went out today with the aim of changing green boxes on the map to yellow, but unfortunately a few blue popped up too. Most of our finds were nice and simple, but a few took a bit of time.
Cache quickly found. tftc

This loop looked like a good option to start the day and give the caches a bit of attention as most of them have been sitting there for a couple of years without any visits. All good here thanks OIL STRIKE. TFTC # 16,448
Thanks taking a slightly longer way past Palmerston on my way to Naseby. Aiming to find six cache on this loop.
A quick park and grab while out about heading to Cromwell for new years eve. Grabbing a few caches to get my numbers up so I can crack 2000 before the end of the year. TFTC
Heading to Middlemarch for a caching weekend and had the morning to fill in before meeting BCD at Palmerston. First find on my travels around some of the back roads. TFTC
doing some of the caches surrounding Palmerston. Weather a bit drizzly. Picked up a trackable.
Ducked up to find this one on our way to Palmerston today, dropping friends off there so had to just find one. TFTC
Another great find while slowly heading to the Christchurch Mega.

Love all these new caches ! Signed as PEGS, as we are all going to the Mega together.
Haha, revisited this one today accidentally as I had forgot to delete it from my GPS and thought it was a new find, lol. It was dark when we found it the first time, so didn't recognise it, but quickly realised my error once I looked at my caching book once back in the caching mobile, funny. Cache still in good order
We enjoyed the day caching in this area
Tftfun
So many caches done to remember all, but got a kick out of all that we found

Found we had a bit of spare time today so stopped in Palmerston for a coffee and a quick download of a few caches to help occupy the time. Really enjoyed all the finds in this lovely little town.
Many thanks for the placement.

An easy cache discovery on a country road. No problems with this one today the 12-12-12.
Ended up parking further away then we needed to and almost running over some barbed wire.

On our way thru to Ranfurly, crossed off a couple of these slightly off the beaten track caches. Would of liked to have visited the farm across the road, but according to the sign we were 2 hours early. TFTC

I thought it would be pretty quiet here, but as soon as I turned up, a guy drove up behind me and went into the power station! Managed to get the cache OK though. Quick find, thanks.
Last Saturday whilst making the strenuouus ascent of Everest aka Puketapu I made the time to have a look around and thought if I lived through this there are a couple of likely looking spots that need a cache, this was one of them.
Too often we take this supply for granted and it is good to see the lengths required to treat and deliver to our houses.
Thanks
