02/09/2012 #92 . Cache is still in place but maybe the magnet is getting a little week. The log is full also. Great cache and location. SL. TFTC.
Parked the pram up and was just about to take a seat, when i noticed the familiar looking cache that i found in Freyberg st sitting on the ground. Signed log and put it back into hiding. Very nice wee spot. TFTC

Found with JC on another late night mission! Was way too visible so moved it very slighty. TFTC
Probably picked the busiest time of day to look for this one. However, having a young child swinging off the benches works well as a distraction. Found it after trying the wrong end first! TFTC
Didn't really need a rest though I had just completed Tunfisk's walk but I did need something to eat and was staying just down the road from this cache so took the opportunity to do the cache and collect some food nearby.
An easy find, fairly quiet so no muggle problems.

Returned for a quick find once I'd waited for all the dog walkers to pass by.

Nicely hidden. When I read the desription, I thought muggles would be in issue but I had nothing to worry about in that respect.
No luck this afternoon. Now that I know that it's a nano I'll go back for another gander, although that was what I was looking for to start with! Describing it as a micro had me looking in the undergrowth!!
Our tenth and last find for the day, the boys are getting competitive for who can find the cache first. Another quick find and one our way home.

Needed a rest but not for long. We had other places to go and search after this one.

Found it at 3:27 PM, our 3rd of 8 finds today. This time success. Last time we were here we were looking for a different sort of container and that was the reason we couldn't find it, not that we were stupid, and blind!!!!!!!!!!!

Grabbed this one tonight with TeeeRoy - my younger brother. Mrs TEF went hunting for this one last week, but in the pitch dark, with no flash light she didn't quite track this nano down. TeeRoy went to GZ on the GPS, but I was right on the cache spot....
This one helped me tick off another day on my Advent Adventure.
I've set myself a new personal challenge. Sunday 27th Nov marked the beginning of Advent. If you’re not sure what that is all about, check the link at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advent . I've decided to start myself off on an Advent-ure. My aim is to find at least one geocache on each of the days of Advent, so hopefully by Christmas Day I’ll have a new longest streak which surpasses my current ‘6 Days’ by a country mile. My original plan was thwarted when I had some technical difficulties in Wellington, when I was away for two days... before I left I uploaded my Pocket Queries, but I never checked it before I arrived, and when I hit the ground it was empty. That meant I dropped two days in the middle of the streak, but I’ll still top my previous best run.
As we left the cache site we spotted some walkers coming close - could that be Iron Butterfly? Alas it wasn't, otherwise Id have yelled a hearty TFTC out the window - I guess I'm quite glad for Profile Pictures, otherwise i could have scared that old lady to death!

No need to rest when you are on a roll. Not even the tempting smells from the takeaway shop could deter us from our mission to find a few more caches before dark. TFTC
Took a little longer to find this one, it shouldn't have, but it did Cheers Gav [10175]
Accidentally found whilst biking to St Clair pool for a coffee. Looked down at my bike computer (Garmin Edge 705) when we stopped for a rest and we were practically sitting in it! A very appropriate cache. TFTC
The eleventh and final find for the night with ingidayna. A quick easy find TFTC
Another good wee hide. I starting looking at the wrong rest stop, then realised my error and then found it easily enough. SL TFTC.
Easy find on a brisk winter's day, with almost no-one else around, so no problem retrieving or returning cache.
This cache (and the walk to get to it) is part of a claim for Rambler's Reward.

Had to wait for a couple of girls with their nasty-looking unleashed dogs to get further down the street before I ventured out of my car.
Lightning grab as I had instinctively positioned myself at the correct end.

Another quick easy find in a secluded area on a cool Saturday afternoon, with another full log sheet. TFTC
A quick find after a stroll with the kids, we used the last space on the log so can we get a new one please. TFTC
Second time lucky on this one, some days are good and some days are not worth mentioning.TFTC
Sunday is the day if rest so seemed appropriate to do a couple of "have a rest"s
Found at 09:17 on 12/06/2011.
Had to come back to get this one as a muggle was in position. Again, easy to find although it took longer to extract and sign the log than find it!!

Never noticed this rest area before- must drive around with my eyes closed! Sitting down and fumbling is discreet and successful- aha, a nano.
Desperately in need of a rest after a mad dash about town on a lunchtime geocaching mission. TFTC!
Needed a rest as this took a bit of finding in the dark, the lights next door came on and I was ready to move on if necessary, but no it was just a false alarm but the cache was taken back to the vehicle for signing. I would imagine this is a well used area some days.
Thanks

Nice and quiet tonight at this location. Took a bit of searching before Erninz found the little devil. TFTC
