Nice playground but definitely not a safe place for kids. Syringes everywhere, what a dangerous druggie hell hole. I have told the owner about it and he knows the story.
It is with much regret that I have decided to archive this cache. Clearly the playground is relatively safe, but the surrounding area is not. With a regretful incident at GZ I have decided a cache placed in this local area is frought with the dengers of the area, and I certainly don't want children searching in an area with such dangers. I thank all of you who have come to find the cache, and I still encourage you to come to the St Kilda Adventure Playground as it really is a great place to bring the kids. When we arrive here this afternoon, the kids and I will have a great time at the playground, and at the same time I will retrieve the cache and reuse it somewhere else.
Found @ 11:50 I had a feeling on what type of cache this would be and my feeling was correct, once my iPhone settled down I found it. Nice tricky cache TFTC
Great cache hidden in a well frequented area, took some time to find the nano cache. Really enjoyed the walk from the beach to the playground area.
One of those cases where we just could not get in the zone as we spent about 20 minutes wandering about and thinking how the clue could match the location we were being directed to. Need to return and will no doubt walk straight to it! - We hope. TFTC anyway. Great playground for the geoson - Hard to pull him away.
Scotia-Maz and I dropped in to try this one after a nice Breakfast at Miss Jacksons. Sad to say, nt located by us today!
Looked in the only place/most obvious spot but couldnt locate it. Didnt spend too long there as felt a bit dodgy snooping around with children and parents around
Found it together with nadya on our second attempt. Oh how close we've been to finding it at the first time. TFTC! Parking is not available after 6pm (but no problem if on main street). During the day there were too many muggle kids around so the night was the right time for this one.

When I first came here some time ago, the playground was open and there was high muggle activity around. Came again last night and no-one around Sneaky hide TFTC!
looked around for more than average time, but i couldn't find it. maybe it is gone
What an hideous spot early on a saturday morning. Probably looked like a dealer looking for his stash to the couple who where pacing 20m up and back just down the path after the 3rd time I just kept looking. No find.
Interesting part of the world
Found after re-checking.......it had me at first.

Looked for it today together with nadya. DNF, but wasnt't really looking for it well because there was a high muggle activity in the area. Playground itself is a wonderful place, thanks for bringing us here.
DNF. Turned up early in the am. with Lochb and we spent some time checking the obvious, then the not so obvious, then where the available information also indicated it might be, all to no avail.
After a 20 FTF haul earlier in the day, we'd had a break and now it was onto night caching with my mates Blacklegend and C@H. We passed a few local workers as we drove along the streets around to the closest parking area. The cache was soon located and the log signed. Thanks for the hide.
One of 50 found on this trip to Melbourne. Caching with my caching buddies Marty (Quasar3671) and Justin (C@H). Another legendary night caching run.
Pretty quick find by Marty. The interesting part of this cache was the drive along Grey St to get to it.... That was an interesting view at this time of night, being not long after midnight. TFTC.

3.15pm Out and about with 80 degrees checking out some caches south of the city. This is our lunch location for the day. Small little park with nothing much in it but enclosed playground. Interesting idea. Mr X was successfull with this one after Mrs X and Mrs 80 has already checked out the location. A little hard to get a stable reading here.

Found at 3.15pm on one of our days out and about with xambo4u. When we arrived near GZ - the first thing on all our minds was lunch. Once we had finished lunch we began our search for the cache. By this time the GPS's were not being kind but when we let them settle MrX found this one. TFTC
Thanks to Toy Car I have discovered that the cache has had a bit of creep, so I went back this evening to find original cache and remove the replacement one I put in yesterday when visiting with the kids (2.5 hrs! - some playground). I have decided to leave the original cache in the position in which it has been left as 1) it's probably a better anti-muggle location, and 2) cache creep as long as it's not too drastic is part of this great game.
I was at the playground today and found the cache gone. It has been replaced. Please put it back exactly as you found it. Thanks.
Finished work on POETS Day, so thougth I might do a few caches before the sun set.
This was my first one. I remember this park from the previous cache that was here (Which I never found). My PDA/GPS was bouncing all over the place. I looked around the box, couldn't find it, so read the clue and went over to the nearby sign and searched, continued searching. I was about to give up when I found it. Sneeky little fellow.

I've sent owner an email so he can find the original cache.

After finding Puzzlemania #2, I decided to drop by and look for this one.
I had found the previous cache hidden here about three years ago only a couple of metres away, but the area has changed quite a lot since then in the vicinity of both caches. There is a row of trees missing now.
The cache was quickly located and the log signed.
Thanks Trailrunning.

A great way too energise the geodaughter and find a cache.
This is a fantastic park, flying fox, pirate ship and heaps more.
We spent 20min exploring before searching for the cache on the way out.
Finally found with good co-ord's after initially widening my search and exploring farther away.
Looks like a few have dug around in the bark when there is really no need!!

Great day out with Raynestars - this was our first find for the day and first cache of this kind. Never even knew this playground existed - will be back with my son. TFTC
Teeny tiny. Our first of this kind. What a great location to bring the kids back to. Part of a great day out with kandjvincent. TFTC
Nice quick find at 10:30 pm with no-one else around. I've been here a couple of times before, once for the previous cache, and once for a work day on the playground. Thanks for the cache.
I was trying to remember where the last cache was here. It must have been close to this GZ. Took a few secs to find which was good as we had parked in a permit zone!

Found by The Empire @ 5:45am
10th of 12 caches after the 3am WWFM8 flash mob in Glen Iris.
When I had just started geocaching (a bit over 2 years ago) there was a cache here which had gone missing. I found some dodgy things while searching for it and it was archived not long afterwards. This one was found quickly and area looked a little cleaner. Thanks for the cache, Trailrunning.

Pulled up in the pouring rain, nowhere to park, so on with the hazard lights and a quick find.
Thanks Trail running for the cache

Popped by on the way home this evening and found this little fellow.
There were already a few entries in the log, so I would expect to see a few more logs soon. Thanks Trailrunning for the cache, it sure is an amazing place for the kids.

"F.T.F" with jackam. We saw this one the night before but, as jackam said previously, were to tired to grab it. We thought we had missed it but it seems that fate stepped in and allowed two St Kilda locals to have this one. Very appropriate. TFTC
*FTF* with RollaB. We had noticed this cache last night but were too tired to go out again after helping move house and an early start in the morning. After work I noticed it hadn't been logged so we thought we'd give it a go. I have been coming to this adventure playground for 17 years now with the kids,it's a great space for children. The cache was a quick find at night with no one around. TFTC.
After catching up with Trailrunning early in the day we talked about this new cache and decided to give it a shot at FTF after dinner. We found out it had already been found. TFTC
We chatted to Trailrunning about this one at my crossroads night cache,
After a yummy dinner we decided to head in for this one and another couple in the area.. I had it in hand before C@H got outa the car and we weren't too surprised to see we were STF.. Well done RollaB and Jackam.. find # 1217

I was tempted to place a cache here last year, but I couldn't find a suitable spot. Good to see one here now!
