My son had a training day at the Scout Hall so I had a day of geocaching to occupy my time (we travelled over last night). Was an interesting day with floodwater, snakes and mosquitoes adding to the challenge. Has quite a few DNFs (expected with urban caches) but still made 19 finds (and 14 AdLab waypoints - 4 started but only 1 completed). Avenged a couple of DNFs and travelled around a lots of parts of town that I have never visited.

A relatively quick find (seen from the right angle). Container is not waterproof and so log is very wet. An interesting spot.

**Found whilst en route to Corowa from Wagga**

After saying ciao to The Empire, Happy Feet and Happy Pants *and* after grabbing a coffee, I headed out to grab a few caches as I make the long way back to Corowa.
It was great to be back in Wagga. First time I have visited since I served here in the late '80s in the Royal Australian Air Force. It certainly has changed Smile A good time was had by all these couple of days with good memories made and many laughs had.
A nice quick find was made here. Thanks for the cache lgoody and for highlighting the area. Appreciate your efforts. Big Grin

Fourth one found fairly easily. Think I’m getting the hang of this.

13-Oct-21
Found at 9:59 AM GAFF5 in the company of DiMorgan.
We searched for this cache in November 2013 and couldn't find it - neither could the following 13 other cachers! However it was actually still there according to The Drovers who found the cache a year later without a log in it.
However today we found a nice sized container nearly straight away, but we are totally confused as the CO replaced the cache on 15/10/13 with a nano and this was not a nano by any means.
Thanks lgoody.

WE FOUND TWO?!?? In different trees?!?!? Help!

30-May-21
A quick find for our first of the day.

Our first full day in Wagga and what a mixed day it was. We worked on a couple of Lab Adventures, traditionals, multis, puzzles and Earthcaches with mixed results. Sometimes we doubt our puzzle solving skills and a couple were just too good for us.

Thank you to the COs. They are the most important people in the game, as without them there would be nothing for us to find.

Wagga Wagga has so many caches on offer that we can only really scratch the surface while we are staying in the area for a few days. So a selection was made and we headed off to find these ones. Each log found had our name added to the list of finders before all was out back in its proper place.
Thanks go to lgoody for this cache placement.

TFTC. We found ourselves having to remain in Wagga for a few extra days as we get our Solar sorted out. After a visit to Bunnings and head back to camp we passed close to these roundabouts. Parking the car at Roundabout #1ww went for a short walk of discovery.
This one on;y took a short time to discover after the gps settled down.

Found an old version of the cache on the ground! Circa 10/11/2012!!!
I signed it and hung it at head height dead centre of the tree. Cache owner can figure out what to do with both old and new containers Smile

The Drovers had very kindly offered to be Mrs Crackers chauffer so that she could pick up some caches whilst enjoying her visit with them. There was much discussion the night before about which caches we would target and we decided to make an effort to find the multi's and also the puzzles that we had solved and anything else that popped up in between.

Over the years we had managed to find both Roundabout #2 & #3 but for some reason had not stopped to look for this one so it was definitely on the list. We pulled up after navigating a few unusual roundabouts we headed to where the GPSr was pointing and started the search. Fortunately the cache was spotted not long after and our name was added to the log.

Thanks goody for the cache.

27-Aug-17
With a relatively free weekend at last a plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to go and collect some unfinished multi and solved puzzles along with some new caches in Wagga Wagga.

It was a rather eventful weekend with a close encounter of the brown slithery kind, not a very happy either as I think we woke it from its winter slumber, friendly cows, good and not so good weather and the opportunity for the inner monkey to show itself again on a few occasions.

After a good nights sleep it was time to search for some more caches.
Another quick find at this one.

TFTC lgoody and thanks for a fun weekend Rapidlywild.

27-Aug-17
FurfacesLL and myself had decided on a trip away for some much earned stress relieving geocaching. We had planned on doing a day trip across to Wagga Wagga however once we had a look at how many caches we had left to find, changed our plans to an overnighter instead.

We had a large number of multi's to collect that we had picked up GZ information from on prior trips and we had some solved puzzles to collect that we had solved. A nice range of caches across the weekend, did alot of in field maintenance work for CO's by adding new clean/dry/crisp logs to containers in new zip lock bags just to help out.

A great weekend had by us both with a mix of caches, mix of weather and an extremely close brown snake encounter (too close for comfort).

Thanks heaps to FurfacesLL for another awesome weekend away, and thanks lgoody for the cache placement Cool[^]Big Grin Glad to turn this DNF into a find Big Grin

A leisurely afternoon in and around the city, with Suscoe, in an effort to convert some of the many green boxes to smiley tokens on our geo-map. With the first roundabout conquered, not sure how many more we can round up this trip.
