As there's been no cache to find for some time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

YAY a ? I can solve. I so suck at solving puzzles. I am lucky to have friends who can do these. This one however was a smilie earnt by google and I. Thanks
Google helped us with the answers, which proved correct as the co-ords were spot on. Found with debsnz
Solved a long time ago,so quickly retrieved while in the area after walking the Taieri millenium track.TFTC
Day 6 on our 6 day caching trip to Dunedin for the NZ MEGA 2012 event with Gunnie69, Kaisho53, Ozibags, ghostgums and MrMeccano. We packed up and placed everything in the cachemobile as we prepared to head to the airport for our midafternoon flight home. We made our from Saint Clair, down to Waldronville and the along the coast (Brighton Road) to Taieri, and then over to Milton, before heading north to the airport.
Sorry about the bulk log but I am never going to catch up at this rate.
TFTC and puzzle, us04!

A few of these types of hides have caused the group some grief over the last few days and on arrival, our eyes rolled and we thought we would be here for a while...
Fortunately, I got lucky and after a quick scratch around, I stumbled on the container nice and quickly... Phew... [^]
Log and and a sticker in, all was tucked away again and we shot off to the next...
Found in the company of fellow Queensland hunters OziBags, TheFourBees, Ghostgums and Mr Meccano.
Cheers us04.

Caching with Ghostgums, Mr Meccano, Gunnie69, kaisho53 and fourbees after attending the NZ Mega. Lovely beach area. TFTC us04.
Solved the puzzle prior to coming down and nearly missed it as we were heading north - found with Emvy_us on day five of our southern tiki tour while attending the Dunedin Mega. TFTC
I had worked this one out back in Auckland in preparation to a visit to the Taieri Tombolo cache when I was in Dunedin for the Mega. BaldEd assisted me with the find.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
The answers were quickly discovered with all the technology that most of us have in our homes these days. Quick find as Tufty and I drove south to view the Taieri Tombolo
Another great find on the Emvy_Us / Waiiti20 mega tour of the Southern South Island. Didn't recall the puzzle but managed to grab the cache on the way past. TFTC
Puzzle was solved in Chch for the MEGA and didn't think I'd get a chance to get this one. As Earthcache we hoped to get was inaccessible nearby, got to make hay when the sun shines.

We were going to attempt Taieri Tombolo Earthcache, but arrived just too late ! Saw that the return distance would be greater than the time needed to complete so had to call off the mission & head back to camp. [:(!] Sad faces !
As we all had (same!) coordinates, it was going to be hard to drive by without a howdy hi even if no one lived there! - executive decision was we'd make ourselves home here briefly & head on back to camp for prize giving. Sorry we couldn't stay longer .... Thanks for this cache to cheer us up at the end of the day!

We arrived in Dunedin early Friday morning with a plan to find a number of caches in and around Mosgiel & Brighton before heading to the NZ Mega Event. We had solved this puzzle in preparation for our trip to Dunedin and this was on the list to find on our 1st day before heading out to the mega. Quick find. TFTC.
Stopped in while passing towards St Clair with Rednum6 . Looking forward to some interesting caches while down south for the Mega.
Out caching with Butchie Bum and Red junior on our Dunedin 2012 Mega Caching Adventure! This was the south bound part of our trip, heading for Dunedin from the airport via the coast road and we had fun!
Solved this before heading south, so it was just a matter of finding and collecting the cache. And no problems either. Loved the interesting old building in the area, was it a shearing shed? TFTP and cache.

Thanks for that. I have always avoided puzzles but that's not too hard. I only needed four disprins .
It's not in what I would have though was the most obvious location, but it's only a couple of metres awa,y and the co-ords are accurate.

Solved the puzzle at home and then went out for a round trip via Waihola.
Got it almost at once, a nice little hide, box of tricks spot on.

It's Mama's Day so off for brunch at the Black Swan. After a DNF in Waihola we decided to take the coast road back to town. Had solved this some time ago after quickly determining the shared connection. Quick find - trust the needle. Salamat!
I walked back and forth thinking - I know the cache is here! Then finally found it. TFTC
sorted the puzzle ages ago and could not wait for an opportunity to go and get it a bit of hunting around as many likely spots, but found eventually - awesome place to stop and admire the sea TFTC!!
The puzzle was straightforward, but we were a bit worried that the last log we had was a DNF. It took us a bit longer than it should have, as we first searched what seemed the obvious location, but switching to another quickly revealed the cache. We did note that we seemed to be fairly close to a steep drop - recent erosion? TFTC

Was wondering about the eclectic bunch of people used in the puzzle- but the penny soon dropped! However, we didn't manage to find the final. We picked up a dozen bourbon-and-cola RTD bottles from beside what seems the most likely hide, so perhaps it's been muggled?
worked out at home then quick ride to co-ords,took a wee while to find, overlooked it few times.

Solved this one a few days ago and just happened to be passing today.
