I passed here on the way to a nearby challenge cache. The GZ hint object is flat on the ground, and has been replaced by an entirely new one. There's no sign of the cache. It's either gone, or has got tangled in the old fence wire and can't be accessed. The CO hasn't responded to a maintenance request from early April, so it's time to put this to bed.
The cheque may well still be in the mail but the 'mail' is lying horizontally, wrapped in chicken wire. There's an impressive excavator parked nearby and signs of earthworks in progress, so this cache may need to be relocated or archived.
Might be worth a check, I noticed the GZ object lying on the ground this morning, and some heavy machinery parked next to it.
My only chance to find this cache and unfortunately there was a worker on the spot all day.
On my way southwards I had a short break here for to look at this cache. My GPS handheld also want to send me somewhere else, but this wasn't a problem. And I really liked the additional informations in the listing because I'm always interested in history of any place.
Thanks a lot for the cache.

Papa Bear couldn't see this one for looking, Mama and little bear who were waiting in the car guessed the right spot and wondered how long it would take Papa Bear to find it, he did eventually. Tftc
Busy road but nice little pull over. Had us confused for awhile until we spotted the correct object. Tftc
#134 School holiday caching with the geokid, a quick park n grab on a cache we drive past lots. Git a little side tracked looking at the wrong thing, then realised just how accurate the gps was and had it in hand promptly. TFTC
On way back to Wangaz, from wellington and took a detour down this way.
Parked up and I originally stayed in car, as I wanted some noms.
After hyjynx and geo 10/15 did not locate I jumped out and pointed them in right area, cache soon after extracted and formalities completed.
Cheers

The holiday season at last! Off to Auckland to see my folks. Caching all the way.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

I decided to go out on a big day of crazy caching and see how many I can find singlehandedly! I packed some food, plenty of water, gps, spare pens. I had a quick look in the morning and decided on a general direction with plenty of caches and some cool challenges on the way. The weather was great, even too warm at times, with considerable wind. I started after sunrise and went on until sunset, by which time I was rather exhausted - but happy... I kind of ended up somewhere where I was not quite planning to end up, but no problem! I found 124 caches in total - my biggest day going on a lone caching mission. Thank you to all the awesome CO's for placing the caches!!!
Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!
Greetings from Finland

FIN (laalaa, janahola, temyllyl, kapeka) holiday in New Zealand. Marvelous country and nice landscape. The journey continues to Wellington.

Fifth day on our geo-roadtrip in New Zealand, and caching our way towards south. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka. Driving to south and heading to Christchurch Mega event. Today we headed to Wellington to catch a ferry tomorrow. Tooking some 'detours' via caches of course.
On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.
Welcome to MEGA Finland in 5-7 august 2016!
Today we drove from Whanganui to Wellington and stopped to some caches on the way. This was fast find. TFTC!

One of many finds during a weekend cache raid of the area. We enjoyed great weather, fun caches and we managed to fill a few boxes on some challenges we are working towards. Quick find for this one, thanks for the interesting info on the cache page TFTC.
What a yucky day to be outside. So just one cache for today. Perhaps there was a mail box at the old gate once upon a time?. thank you for the cache
Just a few quick find between Christmas brunch and dinner. The road is really quiet today. Liked the word play. TFTC.
No pencil in cache but this will suffice. Great cache - made me stop and look instead of driving past as I've done so often in the past. And now off to the Garden Centre. TFFC
Pulling up I had a good idea as to where the cache was, based on the name by itself. While I was correct in the solution, it wasn't for the correct reason. TFTC
Last morning in Wellington do a final chance to grab a few caches before heading to work and flying home. While grabbing the caches is great I can't say that I manage to get in much sightseeing in the dark.
Being so early in the morning the area was quiet so no issues with passing muggles.
Was surprised to see Kiwis69 as the last visitor as had just been talking to them last night
Thanks for the placement

Took the "backroad" to Tawa. Good to have parking close to cache. Description useful TFTC.
This cache formed part of Day 2 of our 2 day assault on Wellington puzzle caches (with a few traditionals thrown in as well) whilst we prepared to attend SAROCs Winter Solstice event and pick up Grunta1's Bakers Dozen challenge.
A quick drive by cache.

A quick stop on the way to the garden centre. Miss paua ranger didn't even bother with the GPS, out of the car and straight to it. TFTC!
Was initially distracted by the wrong mailbox but a scan of he surroundings sent me to the cheque.
No fishing this morning so grabbed a cache on the way home. Interesting spot Tftc
Grabbed and signed in gaps between the traffic. Last of the day with WaffleKitties. TFTC
A nice quick park, walk and grab while out on a Xmas-eve cache hunt in miserable weather today. Not too bad while i was in the vicinity of this cache though.
Had a "local" pull over & ask if i'd left a walking pole up the road (as i obviously looked like i was out hiking with boots, shorts and jacket). Thought it was odd until a little later a walker came down the hill toward me. Psossibly had stopped and dissappeared for a call of nature out of sight?!?)
{trying to get my December numbers "up" for a particular cache the CO had put me on to recently}

I bet that this cache has become more popular recently! Made the quick drive by on my way to the magnetic attraction.

0330 Parked here, as it seemed like a safer spot than where I wanted to go for the 100 Day Challenge cache. Thought I might as well get another cache for the Night Caching elective, so will add a book mark. All good with the cache and good coordinates, but unable to leave a correct site marker.

Find #151 for the BAMMJams - found this one on our way home this evening, having previously looked in the wring place! However, it was a quick and easy find today. THe mini-BammJams took 10c out, and replaced it with a dice. TFTC!
Out hiding a cache of my own in the neighbourhood and had to stop to grab this one. Easy as pie. TFTC.
