As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not responded or performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to un-archive it.

Making new container that might be better concealed as last two have dissappeared. Will be replaced soon.

Even log and paper have now disappeared. I looked in the curve of the end of the metal barrier as you drove in to the off road area....I fear it has gone completely

Thanks to nzkeko we put in a temporary cache so we where able to sign it.

Not a lot of places this could could hide. I suspect this had gone AWOL.

Had a hunt but wasn't able to find this supposedly easy cache.

While in Gisborne for the NI National Daffodil Show, will do some caching with the Seagnoid. Thanks for the cache.

[green] Here with popmac on a geocaching / daffodil trip. Popmac grows daffodils and is taking a bunch to a daffodil tournament thingy in Gisborne with plans to cache along the way, and I came along for the ride.
Great view of the sea, as thought a number of others - there were about 5 other cars here too, all with their backs to us. found the cache in three seconds flat. And it only took that long as the the car was parked a whole 5m away. if it was parked closer I might have shaved a second...

Cache replaced and ready to be found again. Please ensure well concealed when you replace to ensure not visible to the many muggles frequenting the area to avoid loss again. Thanks all.

Temporarily disabling cache as have checked and it definitely seems to have taken legs and gone looking for a view?? Will replace in a couple of weeks on my next drive up the coast.

Cache evaded us today, but took a paddle in the lovely sea.

Fire Geocoin in

On my first visit there were some people sitting looking towards GZ, so I wasn't able to search.
So I headed off to do another couple of caches and then came back later on.
On my second visit the coast was clear and I was able to quickly retrieve the cache.

Thanks, trying to grab as Manu caches as I can while visiting Gizzy.

Carpark half full today as the surf was not that good. Had to wait a few minutes for a couple to get their wet suits on before grabbing the cache.

easy find exept for keeping out of sight of muggles.

Lots of muggles in the carpark, but they were all intent on the surf conditions, so not of bother to us.
+ a marble, - nothing.

Checked cache and visited some TBs and GC

A geocoin visit

Got it this time! The cache was where we thought on our first visit but it could not be found. Quite likely someone had an experience such as ourselves where we had the car park mostly to ourselves with cache in hand completing the log book while sitting in the car, to have about six car loads of surfies pull in all at once. Certainly no way to replace the cache without being seen, so we had to take it home with us. We replaced the cache the afternoon of Monday 29th August '11. TFTC. SiLiRy

Believe that we know where this cache should be and also found a black dice at GZ but could not locate the cache? We placed the dice in the expected cache location. Will monitor to see if any one else has success after us. SiLiRy
