594 km of 805 km into my mid-week camping and caching trip.
This lovely spot is my campsite for the night. Bonus that there was a cache here. After setting up the tent and eating dinner, I went for a look in the fading light.
Not an easy one to find in low light. It also really didn't help that there was no hint. I went round searching for a while before being forced to give up when it got too dark.
No find in almost a year... Is it still there?

First cache of the year! Gorgeous lookout. Lots of birds and wildlife around

And so day 2 dawns on our caching long weekend, the bodies somewhat weary from the crow adventure but not to be deterred we set off on another highland adventure. Loving our tour of the area thanks to caching. Awesome detour, great views and top container. Deserves a favourite Tftc
Went for a pedal from Tallong out to the lookout. Figured there’s got to be a cache out here and bingo, found it. Good times watching the tourists jump the fence and get far too close to the edge. Easy find and all in good order. Thanks for the pen cause I didn’t bring one. Thanks for the cache.
On our way out to bundanoon and saw the sign for this lookout. Checked and of course there’s a cache here the views were awesome and enjoyed coming down to find this one. TFTC
Having spent a nervous week waiting for results of my sister who is in hospital in Qld I've struck out to get a few caches and clear my head.
The day started out beautiful and clear but has come over a little cloudy. Hopefully rain will hold off as I make my way towards the coast.
This is one of those times that caching brings you to unexpected treasure. I would not have come down this track without a cache present. I saw earlier a sign for a lookout, but it seems flat. What possible sights would be worth going there? But wow. I mean WOW! I had no idea.
This cache was quickly found in good condition. Thankyou so much for this cache. It's a gem.

I dropped by here on my way back to Canberra after competing in the Australian Mountain Bike Orienteering champs at Wingello. Easily found after admiring the views - equally as spectacular as the grand canyon, but bush covered and on a smaller scale. TFTC.

Nice quick find with team_lewin and kingfisher_au while in goulburn for the gunning fireworks festival. A great view and spots like this is what makes geocaching great. Thanks for the cache and for bringing us here.
Found 1:42 pm with geodaughter. I needed to head back to the coast from Canberra. I had been wanting to grab the caches along this road for some time after driving past this location so many times all those times being quite late and in the dark. This time decided to take the time out and grab the caches in the area. I am glad that I did, the lookouts nearby are awesome. I quite liked the way the lookout had been setup here. I took in the view after finding the cache. On the way over to the cache passing the toilets I came across of all things a healthy rooster. The rooster didn't seem to be to perturbed by me. At GZ took a moment to spot the telltale of the cache after a brief look around and trying to get the GPS to settle. I signed the log and recovered as required.
Thanks for the cache. Now to take in the view and after that to head back and stop at the shop in Tallong for something to eat and drink.

Found with the Geodad who is a seasoned kayaker of the shoalhaven. He knew this spot well, however had never been to the top lookout. Very impressive view over the gorge even on an overcast day. TFTC!!!!
Came to Tallong to look at a house for sale and took a drive out to this look out, great views. Very quiet today and a little rainy. Took a little time to find but got it. TFTC.
Found this morning after camping the night in our new teardrop camper which we are taking to the Red Centre Mega event over Easter. Glad to find we had 4G reception this morning or we would never have found it just on cache sense!! Beautiful spot, TFTC
Fitzy_1965 and I headed out early from Goulburn to make an event near Wingello before continuing to the Robertson area for a day of caching. Parked nearby and cache found quickly. TFTC this was the last for the day and well worth it. What a glorious view
Found this well hidden cache after a long 2 day walk (not necc to get to cache, we love hiking) from nearby long point track to down to shoalhaven river where a friend and i camped overnight and the next day hiked back up badgery's spur track in +35 deg heat. Cache was a little bonus to a great walk/camp and the swimming in the shoalhaven river is awesome!! TFTC Mr Roo
12887. Found during a quick drive out around the area.
Being in the area I took the opportunity to grab 4 caches. I've seen the sign out to this lookout many times but have never made the detour before. Knowing mr_roo had a cache out here I drove out this time and was stunned by the great views from the lookout ! Wow ! After being suitably impressed I went for a short walk and located the nice sized cache. Signed the log, returned the cache, then headed back to the car and off home.
Thanks mr_roo !! Favourite Point for those views !!

Another insane night cache with Krispystrips... Maybe not the greatest cache to choose by torchlight on a windy night, but a relatively fast ind considering. Grabbed the TB. Today is day 94 of the cache streak challenge TFTC!
Another crazy night time adventure with Nibbletricecakes! Ugg boots may not have been the best footwear choice for this adventure but they held up well
Spectacular view from the look out & was surprised to see open bbq's. The gorge was gorgeous!! Excellent bush cache (our fav kind). Stopped to look at the deer on the way up to the lookout. Great caching experience. Dropped tb, Tnsl Tftc Mr Roo xo
Wow what a view and you wouldn't even know this existed as previously mentioned there's no driving up steep hills to get here worth the detour!
Wow, what a super view! Got a nice panorama photo, which we'll upload. A good cache too. Took TB to move on. TFTC!

I found this cache jointly with TOC and now I have my own account I am claiming my finds. My caching name is not in the log book though as I didn't have one. I can cache on my own now. Thank you for the hide.
Found. Thanks for the cache hide. Found with *Throsbyonchurch* and *Little Panther*
I found this cache as a joint part of “Team” *Throsbyonchurch* and in which name the log book was signed. I now have my own account as I’m old enough to cache myself, so I am claiming a fair share of my earlier finds. As I had no caching name at the time there's no log in the book for me but I’m claiming the find under team ToC. Thank you for the hide.
After having a lovely day caching yesterday afternoon I thought we would head off and complete our circuit of unfound caches. Again, as usual, ended up heading in a different direction to what I had planned. I love this location and looking over the gorge, always in awe coming here. I read a lot of the older newspapers, so its rather nice putting a picture to some of the occurrences of this area. I have always missed out going to the end of the road and today I discovered there was a track off to the right heading to Badgerys Spur, I will walk that another day, and a tack to the left going down to a lookout which I got to enjoy. Looking down to the river my mind went off on a frequent dream of canoeing down the Shoalhaven River - I would love to do that. Then the sun on the ridge-back of a southern ??gully I wondered how the pioneers managed to descend down to the Shoalhaven, another thing I would love to try and do. I'll just keep dreaming. Anyway GZ was a bit of a feat with a gps doing the 'hip hop'. I tore my calf last weekend so had to be careful traipsing around here. Nature called so I had to leave geokid to search. Just as I was about to rejoin the search geokid appeared with the pot of gold announcing it was well hidden. SL and we took it back to its hide'y hole. I loved walking down into the area where GZ is located, might go for a wander through here another day, maybe when I come back to do the Spur track. Thank you for bringing me back here so I could discover more of this place. I'm enjoying exploring around the Highlands. SL TFTC.
This was the last stop before heading out to see the glow worms. Headed down for this one and made a quick find. Great views, thanks for bringing us out here
Been here once last year as a muggle. Came back today for the cache.

Had a brutal week at university, so after completing 3 assessments I thought it was fair to reward myself. There was a handful of caches South West from home that were still within the 50km radius. Now that 4 new ones have popped up - it was enough motivation/purposeful to head out for a day trip.
Last one of the day.
Stunning views of a great valley and a sheer rocky cliff face. Pockets of land you'd never think of exploring.
Nice GCNSW container. Cheers

I was thinking that this won't be much of a lookout. The road isn't even going up. In fact I think it is going down slightly. Nice surprise at the end. What an awesome view. Just on sunset too. TFTC mr roo. Worth the detour. Left TB.
A weekend caving and canyoning at Bungonia. However I didn't get away from work until late. By the time I was near the turn-off from the highway it was past midnight. That means I could find a couple of caches for the new day.
All i can say about this place just after midnight was that it was very dark! Several animals were scuttling about. Stone bigger ones were thumping around.
Just find the cache and get out of here!
Thanks.

My first one. Such fun. Thx for placing it here. A great view as a bonus for afterwards.

A fun little hide but a little confused by the terrain rating. Would definately rate this higher than a 1.5 for terrain. Great items for kids inside.
TFTC and thank you for the great location. Caches like this make it a worthwhile activity.
After lunch at the Penrose shop with the boyfriend I thought we'd drive a bit further to have go at this catch. Have never been to this lookout and I have been missing out. It's so amazing this is at our back door. Who needs to go to America, we have our own Grand Canyon!! Played "cooee" for a few minutes before I told him part of my motive for the trip!! So we headed in the direction of the cache. Having not been found since May I was unsure whether we'd find it. And a bush cache with no hint!! Oh boy this will be tough!! We read previous logs for a bit of a nudge in the right direction. We looked, we looked, can't find it, oh well lets go, wait there it is!! Nice big box with toys for the kids. Cache is still there, sealed road all the way and the view is amazing! Just be wary of any legless friends that might be out in the warmer months.
Down here with a school group. They werent interested in caching so I nipped off at lunch to bag this one.
I have been here a couple of times, I never knew there was a track down the spur! I`ll have to sort that walk out.
Good little spot to soak in the afternoon sun and scoff a burger from the General Store up the road.
Found with Liscy.

We nearly missed this one, I saw the cache icon in the middle of nowhere and dismissed it. The we decided to visit some lookouts and the realised that this cache was at one of them. Found.
First find for this cache in 2013! TNLNSL (pen needs replacing, sorry didn't have one to leave) TFTC, cheers aussieangel (with kiwiangel)
Even on this rainy misty day the views were spectacular here. The fallen tree is very beautiful too. So quiet here with nobody around, I was reluctant to leave and just spent a little time lost in thought. TFTC!
The cliffs are amazing ! It always takes my breath away when you can get this close to huge drop offs. With the cache the other way it was all safe and sound today. Thanks.

Brings back some memories.

Found with "Chalk", rainng on and off all day, still what else would we want to be doing. The Shoalhaven is raging deep in a valley dotted with fog patches, very grand indeed, Great spot, SLTN..TFTC
this area is spectacular, found the cache before doing the badgery's spur walk, much tougher than the 3.6km sign. but absolutely beautiful down in the shoalhaven gorge. had a swim in the river. great day worth doing
A world class lookout indeed!! Although I think a 1.5 star terrain does do this one justice! Will go back next time and do the walk as well.

Great spot. Great views. Found cache after a little walking. Grabbed travel bug HEX27A, left bottle opener. Cache is in good condition
The weather forcast was for occasional showers so I headed off only to find that it started to rain & virtually never stopped. I came via Exeter & Bundanoon & enjoyed that back road. At Badgery's the rain let up enough to take a few pics but as I started the hunt, it resumed. Located the cache & left a piece of white opal. Don't rush out though as it is man made, quite nice though. Off to Tallong then Goulburn to hide a frog. Thanks.
