No trains and as far as I can see, no cache either. At least I couldn't find it. Thanks anyway
TTFC. Great site! Kids were stoked to find their first swappable cache too.
Making our way from Dorrigo to Grafton and taking a road not travelled before as well as stopping for a few caches along the way.
Thanks to the COs for placing these caches or our enjoyment.

Once we realized the T rating was 1.5 it narrowed the search area and a quick find was made.

Well i tramped the brambles flat and found the right pile of rocks. The log was a little damp so i waited in the sun for awhile, then packed it into a new ziplock.
Maybe I was suffering from cache blindness today, I seem to miss all the ones that others have said were an easy find. this one eluded me in the obvious spots and I wasn't dressed for battle with the dead blackberry canes. I retreated to the car, defeated for today but I'll be back!
We have been staying at the free camp in Thora with our caravan and using it as a base to cache around Bellingen and Dorrigo to as far as Ebor. Fabulous countryside and we have loved the creative hides. Thankyou groovydoo for placement of this cache and sharing this special spot with us.
Team Deane out on a beautiful New Years Day
Keeping the kids away from road was more challenging than finding the cache.
Water had gotten into this container quite badly. We removed a wrist sweat band and a candle that were saturated and mouldy. And took out a toy car but swapped it for some pretty beads.
Thanks for placing this!

TFTC, quick park and grab. Cache was just laying out in the open so I covered up as per hint.
While away for a couple of days from Brisbane visiting this area we nabbed a few cache hides.
We loved the countryside around and enjoyed our time finding the little smiley’s here and there.
This was a quick find for us while on our way to Dorrigo.
All was good with the cache.

Found with shrimp 92 . Beautiful afternoon for a cache or two. Thankyou for the cache
As I went on I realised there are quite a few unused tracks between here and Dorrigo.TFTC.
Loved the old timber bridge. After a bit of foraging, soon had the cache in hand. TFTC groovydoo
Weekend geotrip with ZO33 down in the Dorrigo Area.
What a glorious area with many beautiful natural attractions and plenty to see.
Thank you for placing and maintaining geocaches

This was our second attempt at this one, and I'm pleased to say, successful. Now we'll head off for some tucker and the drive back to Armidale. TFTC groovydoo, SL.
We can imagine the steam engines of times gone by chugging across this old bridge. Mrs. Herbz stood back and scanned the area whilst Mr. Herbz did the dirty work. Mrs. Herbz spotted a likely spot and Mr. Herbz dug it out. TFTC.
Cut myself digging before spotting the obvious. Cache contents a bit meagre so added some bandaids (since I had to get one anyway), a tea candle, a sweatband and a pencil. Thanks Groovydoo
This morning we moved onto Urunga, met up with pprass to search for caches in the Dorrigo area.
We decided to find the furtherest cachest first, this sent us into the forestry region where some mighty Tallowood were located.
Pulled over to the side of the road, arriving at GZ we saw a tell tale sign of a likely hiding spot.
Thanks for placing this cache groovydoo

We thought we searched well, but DNF, not a good caching day for us today, we'll be back!
We were so absorbed by the countryside as we were driving along, we had driven past ground zero before we realised there was a cache at this little old railway bridge. We quickly turned around and after a short search soon spied the tell tale and located the cache. After signing the log, we were on our way again, passing an old farmer about to cross the road at the top of the hill not far from the cache. Thank you for having placed the cache groovydoo
On our way back to Brisbane, we stopped to search for this cache. It was really easy to find. I love trains, so this was a nice stop.

Found with Nudge74 & Doogle06 on a massive day caching the 'Dorrigo Loop'. This one possibly should have a higher difficulty rating. We didn't know where to start but started rummaging around and eventually Nudge74 spotted the cache out of the corner of his eye. Lucky. Could have been quite easily overlooked. TFTC.
This was a difficult one but we eventually found it. TFTC.

Yep !! No trains crossed the bridge while I was there today
A couple of cars passed under it though [:o]
Damn muggles interrupting my searching for a cache
My search was short !!
Re-assembling the jigsaw puzzle of camo took much longer after I had signed the logbook [:o)]
Gravity wasn't helping !!

I had found 994 caches before today, so today was an attempt to make it to 1000. This was it!!!! 1,000 finds, yeehah! I've left a 1000 find geocoin there that can travel to wherever the finder wishes to take it. TFTC

as my written English is very bad, I hope that I can get a good sense rather than using google translated from Danish to English, I expect our online time is short, so hope you even want to do it ... thank you
efter en overnatning i Ulong kom vi forbi først et kæmpe træ se foto og derefter denne cache, og da ingen var i nærheden måtte vi lige logge den

It took a find by my excellent geo-wife to bring up my 150 cache milestone. I had already dismissed the site and was looking elsewhere when I heard that only too familiar, "found it"!
There must have been a lot of train track crossings when this line was in use. TFTC groovydoo.
Found at 11.00am GAFF1. The train lines were quite extensive around here when we checked them on our maps. There were some serious detours to get around the mountain ranges, but they must have serviced a lot of this area in the pioneering days.
Good to see a nice sized container.
Thanks groovydoo.

Thanks groovydoo.
Having done a wonderful loop of geocaches around a looped trail from Dorrigo we decided we may as well do this one and another one too before heading back to Coffs for some dinner. We found the nice roomy car parking space and jumped out in search of the cache. It was in hand in no time and we signed the log. Thanks for yet another Geocache in the Dorrigo area Groovydoo.
