Logs
On a road trip together with -moge-; across New Zealand; from Cape Reinga to Stewart Island; up, down, right, left ... So much to see, so much to experience. So many great, and sometimes old, caches! But I can hardly keep up with the logging. Far too exhausted from all the experiences. I am sorry that it will now be a standardized log for some founds.
Hello "Hello Mrs",Another day, another Cache.Together with Dr Donna travelling through New Zealand. We arrived at Auckland Airport and made our way up north. After visiting Cape Reinga we went on our way South to reach Stewart Island with stops in many different Citys all over the country. Of course we have an open eye for nice Caches but take what we can get. Today we came across your Cache and signed the logbook with our names or took pictures for Virtuals and Earthcaches. Its great how many nice spots we are able to discover through our journey and how many of them we only See because of Geocaching! Thanks for bringing us to this place and takeing care for the geocache.Liebe Gre und vielen Dank fr die Hege und Pflege deines Traditional Cache! -moge-#############Der Cache "JUNK & FUNK (Canterbury)" von "Hello Mrs" war fr mich Cache 6665. Appropriate cache to be our first. Never knew this was here - really sorry we missed seeing it while open.TFTC TNLN
Not too many people around, still watched out. The container was lying on the floor between rubbish, maybe a bit dangerous to be thrown out by somebody cleaning the area.TFTC!
Easy stop, but hard to do without being seen by muggles. To no longer a sistema container - think 90s photography instead
Stoped a the Fossil cafe for a coffee and noticed we were very close to a geocache so ambled across the road afterwards. Cache was on the ground exposed to the elements and the log has got a bit damp. Have replaced the cache at GL and covered with foliage.
Passing through and stopped for coffee at the Fossil cafe. Cache was lying exposed on the ground among some hacked off branches. Needs to be hidden in a more secure place. TFTC
Beautiful place to stop and an easy find. I have put some paper in as the log was nearly full. TFTC
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
My husband and I are on a 2 week holiday from BrisbAne Australia and today we travelled from christ Church to Kairkora picking up a few smiley's along the way. This was a fun stop and quick find. Made us think about a piece of junk (treasure) we bought. It was a uni cycle and when we got it home we tried to have a ride bit ended up after multiple tries we now use it as an ornament. Safer that way. Thanks for all the fun
That was a tricky find with all the leaves. But the container is not sistema, so look hard!!!

Plenty of acorns falling at the moment, at our last stop we had to move the van to avoid dents in the roof. Cache was a quick find and then we gave the dogs a good run around before we headed off again. TFTC

On our way to the next place TEMBO! and I made a stop at The Junk & Punk and logged. Sometimes the Name of the cache is a magnetism.
Thanks to Hello Mrs Maintained by AAMOFIDOTR for hiding and maintaining the cache.

No longer a sistema, but located quickly. Tftc. Made me think of independent stores which have all closed.
I found this cache while on vacation in New Zealand Thank you for the experience Greetings from Germany
A good excuse to stop and make a coffee on our way to Kaikoura. Plenty of parking and a quick find. Contents of the cache are fine. Thanks for the placement.
Been meaning to stop for some of these highway hides as I pass often enough. Finally collecting a few on my way home TFTC! All good here
Day 12 of my Spring Holiday and next leg of the journey on my final holiday day is from Kaikoura to Christchurch and what a Stunner of a day it is!
Nice quick find here after a nearby muggle called out "it's at the base of the tree"
He came over and we had a nice wee chat and he said how he enjoys sitting out the front of his property watching the world go by with the visits of geocachers to keep him entertained. I explained a little bit about geocaching and showed him the map which he was quite in awe of TFTC

We love checking out op shops. Shame this one's gone.
A bit of a stretch to reach the cache, but I got it.
Thanks for putting this here

It’s been a long time since I had the opportunity to stop here. But today I did and changed this one from a sad face to a smile on my map. It was a quick find today. TFTH
Quick and easy find, although after spending time chatting to a local muggle. Really friendly guy, with a beautiful dog (Marshall) who loves to play fetch. Turns out we work with his son. Make sure you say hi to Fred, photo attached.
Nice little find, had nice chat with local chap Paul gave some history on the area, played throw the stick for his dog marshall

Planned West Coast trip put on hold due to atrocious weather. So an alternative route was needed to avoid the rain. Not so! The rest of the south island copped it too..though on a lesser degree. So mainly driving north with the odd random cache finds. Seeing plenty of country less travelled a bonus.

First stop of the day before popping across the road for breakfast/lunch thanks for the placement, is going to need a new log.

Looooong boring drive to Blenheim. Ohhh I know, I'll do some caches. Nice and easy. Log getting full..Cheers.
Off on a road trip to Chch for the weekend. With limited time and raining on and off. We still managed to get in a bit of caching along the way. Down the East cost and back up the West cost was the plan but stormy weather put a stop to that. With no roads open to get home on we stopped in Kaikoura for an unplanned extra night. So thank you for for the caches you placed out there for us to find we had fun and frustration finding them along the way. Looking forward to the next trip to find the ones we missed. Apologies for the cut and paste.
Down from Northland for a one week trip to Christchurch to pick up some solved puzzles, challenges, unusual cache types, Jasmer grid fillers, as well as a few others in passing.
Getting darker late in the evening, so took a while to spot this dark coloured cache. TFTC

parked almost on top of it. Pity that the junk shop has gone. Great IceCream across the road. TFTC
We stopped here on our way to meeting other cachers for the Earth Cache at Motunau. Lovely spot you have here. Thanks for this cache Hello Mrs.
A great quick find before lunch. Too bad the second hand store isn't there anymore, that would have been the perfect afternoon activity!
(# 6012). Day 3 of my South Island odyssey. Today is getting caches from Kaikoura to Christchurch. Woke up to a fine frosty morning with views of the snow capped ranges. An uneventful trip down. Parked up right at the GZ. A quick find. Everything in order. TFTC
Day 10 of my 2020 NZE (New Zealand Experience).
(My apologies for the delayed logging but I'm in catch-up mode)
Seeing as I can't be in America right now, I'm touring around the South Island instead. During my time here I am aiming to find as many of the TMGT caches as I can (preferably all 41) and also as many Virtuals, Earthcaches and Letterbox Hybrids as possible, plus any Trads or others that will fill a hole in my D/T grid, my Jasmer grid, or else the last 3 remaining Hidden Dates on that grid.
Having slept parked up in Kaikoura overnight, I awoke to a very fresh but otherwise beautiful morning. Today's plan was to drive from Kaikoura back to Christchurch to catch up with an old friend there before heading further south after that.
Whilst I would simply not be able to stop at every cache I was near on my tour (otherwise I'd be taking 2 years instead of just 2 weeks) I was happy to randomly stop at caches in locations that caught my eye occasionally to break up the journey, such as this one. That way I hoped to be able to add a few more Minutes to my quest to fulfil a Challenge Cache back home.
Once I had parked up and walked towards GZ, I had the place to myself to be able to search uninterrupted, and it wasn't long before I had located the cache. No issues with this cache, which was signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for placing this cache.
