After being muggled out on a previous visit the coast was clear today. Soon found the cache and got a little messy opening it but not too bad. A well-done example of this genre thanks Daryllm123

Found with Crazy! Nat girl while out bike riding, I had to take my bus in to get serviced at prestige Hino so the bikes were stowed in the cargo hold and brought along for a days riding and caching while we waited for the bus to be ready. once we avoided the nasty dog that was being walked along we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC

Found by Mary & David at 1445. Having found a couple like this some years before, we had a good idea what we'd be looking for. Even so, after looking high and low, we hadn't spotted anything. Used PAF to narrow down our search and found the spot we needed soon after. Once retrieved, the container was quite difficult to open, but the contents were in good condition. Our thanks to Daryllm123.

I approached this cache with great expectations after reading raving review logs! It certainly did not disappoint. Should have brought a towel with me, though ... A great hide - slippery little sucker! TFTC

This was the highlight of an afternoon's caching 'tween Events on Remembrance Day. We approached a local fisherman to offer an explanation for our interest in the area, this proved unnecessary as he was not the least bit interested in our antics concerning this stellar hide - great cache.

TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt Daryllm.

I had a free morning this morning, so I decided to do some caching. I have a goal of finding every cache within 60km of the CBD with 7 or more favourite points, so I acted on that this morning by choosing to come out east to clear out all the caches that were required to fulfil my goal. I also found some that could potentially reach 7 in the future, like this one.

I had a fair idea of how this was going to be hidden as soon as I saw the GZ location. I have seen one hide almost the exact same before and one hide that was very similar but instead, was next to a freeway. It didn't take long to locate the cache.......... but it took AGES to open it up! The container was complete slop: mud surrounded the whole thing. We tried to open it, and were actually about to give up until dad had an idea to go and wash our hands, leave it sitting there in the open (one of us would stay while the other one went) to dry. I went to wash my brown hands and when I came back, I found the container was open Big Grin Dad then went to wash his hands and we planned to meet back at the car. The next challenge was opening the logbook case, but eventually (after some thinking) I managed to open it. I can see why so many people like this cache Wink Thanks for a nice one Daryllm123 Smile

PS, do you remember me from up at Warburton?

As usual I have Monday night all to myself with not a care in the world. I left straight from work and headed to the south east along the Princes Highway to try and grab a few east and south east of Dandenong. The night was threatening to rain but by 1 am not a drop had been seen. This cache was one of those collected. Wow and what a cache. I spent a bit of time looking but eventually saw it at the GZ co-ordinates from another vantage point. Once found the stopper was a little hard to remove so a little vasaline might help if you think of maintenance. Great, will favourite. Thanks Daryllm123 for taking me here.

Continuing on our cache a day quest we decided that we would have a look at this one as it is relatively close to home but being such a great day we weren't sure if we were going to be able find it as every man and their dog were out and about. As it turned out there were a couple of families using the nearby picnic tables and play equipment and the occasional dog walker but we didn't see any at all at gz. The cache was located fairly quickly in an area that we thought that it would be. At first we thought that it hade been put back in the wrong location but when we retrieved it we realised that an integral part of the container was missing explaining why we spotted it so quickly. Once inside the container we spent a minute or two trying to get into the log book but with a bit of perseverance we were soon adding our name to the list.
Thanks Daryllm123 for placing this cache here , we have visited this park before to find a now archived cache but this is the first time that we have been on the boardwalk and gz was a great place just to sit and watch the world go by especially on a day like today

Did this cache on way home with a geokid in tow. I spotted it quite quickly, but waited for geogirl to find it. Just brought it up, trying to open it as a muggle came past with a dog. Luckily, I was sitting on the ground looking out over the water. So it came between the legs, and we sat their talking loudly about the ducks and birds on the water.
Eventually opened container and signed log and placed back.
TFTC.

Over the last 2 years I have undergone 2 back operations and being zombied out on pills of all sorts. It seems there has been a lot of caches that I have found on what some call blank days in their calendar and these logs are those caches.

I aplogise for not logging these earlier and hopefully will start logging on time from now on.

Many thanks to Daryllim for the cache. I did find this one easily after remembering a cache by Chookies many years ago.

Regards
Mr.Coffee and the "great hide" Coffee Clan.

Found this clever cache on a wet Wednesday morning, so I didn't expect to see too many muggles, but I ended up waiting for three to finish there muggly business before I could retrieve the cache. To be on the safe side, I removed the cache contents and put the cache back in its hiding place while I signed the log. I then had a good look around before retrieving the cache again and replacing the lot.
I left tigersden Glow Micro Geocoin. Since I retrieved this from water cache (Black Mesa Invasion) it seemed appropriate to leave it at "Billabong".
Thanks, Daryllm123, for a fun cache. Smile

I had difficulty opening this one, then couldn't get into the logbook container at all, I've checked with Darryll and he is happy for me to log it..

I looked in a few of the wrong places before I found it and I suspect it was one of these places where I lost my pen, it's got reflective yellow tape on it so should stick out.. I reckon its probably under the structure where I found myself looking at a decent sized eel.. What a great cache idea.. Thanks Darryllm for bringing me back to a park that I haven't been to for at least 2 years.. took smile, left pen.. Find#1359

Out for a huge night caching run with my caching buddy Marshy (Blacklegend). We'd done a really cool night cache in Frankston and were now working our way up to Boronia to do some caching there. Parked the car nearby and walked to GZ where we searched around before we both spotted the hide from different angles. Marshy retrieved thecache and we signed the log. Cool spot too. Grabbed the TB inside. Thanks for the hide.

Found on another legendary night caching run with my good mate Marty (Quasar3671). Cool cache and unexpected location. Had a bit of trouble opening it, but with both of us working on it, no problem in the end. I'm gonna have to favorite this for the location and ingenuity.

Great cache! Arrived at GZ to find a muffle enjoying the sunshine and eating her lunch so walked further along to kill some time. When I got back she was still there so decided on a proactive de-muggling approach and went and sat next to her. Sure enough she soon left and the coast was clear!! Quick search had the cache in hand but I couldn't open it - the lid was too tight! Perseverance paid off and I finally got it undone and the log signed. All this time I was lucky enough to have no muggles wander past as the cache is too big to hide easily!! just as I had finished replacing the cache a whole lot of muggles approached so I skedaddled out of there! Thanks for the fun! TNLN

As I headed down the hill I spied two cyclists and a walker along the path. The cyclists didn't bother me but I was interested in the walker.
I looked down at my GPSr as I was heading for the entrance and looked up just as the walker disappeared into the bush. Hmmmmm. Odd. Very odd
Thats not quite normal behaviour.

Or is it.....

As I made my way onto the boardwalk, there was a young woman also acting quite strangely. She was on her hands and knees and calling out to someone, who I couldn't quite see.

I debated whether I should sneak up and surprise them, I discard this sadistic plan and instead yelled out were they looking for something?

So hello to Maggies_lens and epicmac, who did all the retrieval and log signing while we stood around and chatted.
A lovely little cache with a twist I have done only once before. Well done Daryllm123 on the hide and a pretty area to bring us to.

Found @ 1:10pm. find # 936.

Had a look at this one when it popped up and thought , so close but so far, as GZ was only 8 mins away but I had to wait 40 mins before I could go and find it.
Once I arrived at GZ I was able to make a quick find. Nice hide, I have found one like this before.
Thanks to Daryllm123 for this cache
