Nope. Definitely not there, can see where cache was on Eastern corner but gone...
Could a cache check by the CO be completed on this one to determine its current status, please?
After overnighting in Mudgee, we decided to go local cache hunting before heading off to Bathurst.
Had a quick look but nothing to find.
Had a quick look but nothing to find.
Did not find today. Out with RoddyC. Found where it could have been but coordinates did not agree.
We are caretakers on a property on BVW for three weeks so giving us time to log a few Geocaches.
But not this one!
Found the could be hiding place but no treasure.

Nice and simple, don’t really need the hint apart from ‘east’

Together with my son I embarked on a six day road trip from Sydney via Bathurst, Parkes and Dubbo to Bourke and back to Sydney via Mudgee. In total we clocked over 1,700 kilometers and along the way we stopped almost 90 times for grabbing a roadside cache.
The final day of our road trip, driving back from Mudgee to Sydney through some beautiful scenic parts of the state. Before heading off we had a nice brekkie at Alby&Esthers. Then it was time to load up the car and get moving
We decided to take the scenic route via Lue Road. Already immediately it was time to stop for a cache near a large information sign. A nice start of the day with a good find.

I had a good look around the coordinates for GZ with nothing to be seen, then moved a long way from there using the clue and found it straightaway. I left a TB, thanks Buggerme for the hide.
Found on a lovely evening walk with Clazza and our patient muggle companions.
Good one, thanks buggerme.

We are heading from Brisbane to Bright in Victoria, caching as we go, wherever it is safe to pull up with the caravan. We left Brisbane on 3rd Jan and don't have to be in Bright til the end of the month. Today, after an overnight camp in Sandy Hollow, we moved further west towards Mudgee. Did not plan to do too many caches as we traveled as it was heading to be another hot day. A call from Liz & Bruce had us meeting half way for coffee in the bush. Onwards to Mudgee, where we set up the caravan and headed out for a few more caches.
Not that post, this one!!! Look out side the square, and dont believe your GPS. Found it, thanks buggerme

We are staying at the Mudgee showgrounds and with this extreme heat we headed out for a while to get some caches before returning to the comfort the aircon in the caravan provides. We were disappointed that many of the caches we were going to head to turned out to be missing. This was one we were able to find and we thank Buggerme for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
On a two day caching trip with GeodudeAU to cover more of TRLT series and others from Carcalgong-Mudgee-Gulgong-Ilford-Capertee-Lithgow. We had 90 finds and only a few DNFs for our efforts. A great couple of days exploring the Central Tablelands seeing some amazing places we wouldn't normally visit. We even survived the mini-hurricane that swept through our campsite along the Cudgegong River at TSR (Cullenbone)! Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches. Most were in good order and easily found with the help of handy hints to get CIH.
We went to the wrong corner post at first but then GDAU picked it out. Which one? TFTC

Out with Brewmaker for a 2 day trip finding caches along The Road Less Travelled series and other nearby ones. On this day 1 we started around Carcalgong and then headed north through Windeyer, Grattai and Erudgere before finally camping overnight at Mudgee.
It was an enjoyable journey through the countryside seeing farm and native animals along the way. There was only a little bit of light rain at times today, which didn't cause a problem.
We found all of the caches very easily (with just one providing a longer search). Most of the caches were in good order, so all in all it was a good day's caching. Thanks to all of the COs for providing this trail

Found with ( mr grumbles) cullum68 on our way back to goulburn thanks for the cache
2/10/17. 1:28 PM. Cache #5431.
24th of 38 finds (& 5 DNFs) today.
Day 3 of the long weekend for which I have come up to plunder caches in the Mid West Regional council.
This mid-day stretch in between visits to Mudgee, was 11 caches in 2 hours and took me through the towns of Buckaroo, Cooyal, Frog Rock, Home Rule, St Fillans, Eurundere, Bombira and Milroy.
After "The Ballad of the Drover", I now found myself in Milroy, on Mudgee's outskirts. It has 3 caches, of which I only found one:
- "Lawson Creek, Mudgee" a DNF, this was just too good for me today
- "Interesting Info" - made the find more thanks to the hint than the co-ords (try S.180 E.630 instead)
- "Secret Tunnel, Mudgee" skipped completely due to all of the DNFs, although the most recent logs suggest I should have had a crack

This Cache had an interesting stash. It had 50 & 20c pieces and beer bottle tops. My minions took to money and we replaced with some swaps.
Not where the gps was sending us but found it with the help of past logs. TFTC
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
#1682 - While staying in Bathurst my muggle friend shows me around and sometimes we stop for a cache. This was one of such moments. The hint came in handy as phone reception was minimal and so I made a quick find.

Up from Sydney for a long weekend. Returning from a very nice lunch at a nearby winery we stopped here to take a look at the info and grab this cache. TFTC #392
Found as part of a weekend away with Hoojar. We headed up towards Gulgong the first night and camped near the start/ end of TRLT (@ -5 degrees ). The next day we made it through some nice historic places and great rolling countryside to finish up at Sunny Corner after a feed in Bathurst. The next day a few more finds before we headed home. Plenty of roadkill spotted, not many cars and not too much trouble at each cache. Thanks to all those cache hiders .
The opportunity finally arose that Steeba and I both had a free weekend to go caching. We quickly settled upon the northern half of The Road Less Traveled series. We drove to Gulgong via Mudgee after work on Friday, camping just before midnight at the suggested TSR nearby.
Saturday we made our way via the caching trail, and the odd additional cache, to Bathurst for dinner, then back onto the trail to Sunny Corner where we again camped for the evening.
Sunday we turned our heads for home, via a few additional cache stops in Portland and Wallerawang.
A fantastic weekend away, with excellent country to be seen and company to be had. We enjoyed the caches that we found.
Thank you to all of the cache owners, and sorry for the boiler-plate logs!
GZ was about 15m out on this one.
Cheers

14208. Found during a run through the Bathurst to Mudgee region this long weekend.
Having completed the southern part of TRLT series last month I had the northern part of the series on my radar for this long weekend - plus as many extras as there are along the way. After spending the Saturday night in Mudgee I hit the road again early today to finish up as much as I could. All but two of today's caches were found and all were nicely hidden with good sized containers. This was the next find for the day. Quick find at GZ. Log signed, cache replaced, and I headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all the COs for their caches - it was a great run up through this area.

Easy find, coordinates slightly out. Signed and replaced cache. The cache was a bit damp.
A quick trip out to Lue station to check out the motor cross site there and we grabbed a few caches in the way. This was our first for the morning. Easy find with the clue. Thanks.
Nice one. Had to wait for some grey haired muggles to move on before a quick grab
Find #740
Day 1 of the 'Mudgee Mini-Roadtrip'
Planning a full day on The Road Less Traveled tomorrow, we drove to Mudgee today through Jerrys Plains, Denman, the spectacular Bylong Valley and Rylstone. A great bunch of caches were found, generally in great condition - we ended up with 14 finds and 3 DNFs. We had to cruise past a couple of great looking caches, due to time (and maybe terrain) restraints, we'll have to return for the long ones. Lots of fauna spotted, heaps of roos (mostly dead) and probably 10 wombats (all dead...).
As noted in other logs, coords 20m off. A quick find when you use good coords though.... TFTC

We cached our way to Mudgee today on day one of the road trip. Found 14 caches! TFTC
Pulled into here as saw the signs & figured I'd get a waymark, which I did. Checked the Magellan & there a cache was - a metre away of sorts. Great season. Thanks.
TFTC. Certainly wasn't expecting an 18.5m radius from GZ to close a DNF. Travelling the district on annual indpections.
Open area, co-ordinates 23 meters out, follow the instructions in the logs, High muggle area. CITO. TFTC
Found with salem on our way home on our road trip. Coords were out but we looked at the clue and soon had cache in hand. Great hide tftc
After reading the info walls we hunted for a while and soon found it a little away from the coords- phone gps isn't always the best lol
On a caching adventure to Mudgee with pprass we set out to see some country side and some interesting caches.
The GPS sent us in circles, the cords are out, might need checking?
But on a happier note we found it
Thanks for the cache

Found at 11:40 AM GAFF3 in the company of Team Nurse Hayley.
With the last few very difficult micros in town we were relieved that this cache was going to be a simpler "small" with a D of 1.5. However when we checked around GZ which was the information signs - we found nothing [B)] Hayley then checks the hint and bugger me! It's way over there - 22 metres away!!!
Thanks Buggerme.

Out and about exploring the Mudgee with CAD - found using the hint T4TC:) #3795
After reading some other logs the cache was easily found.
As per other logs the co-ords are significantly out and really should be altered to the correct location.

We drove towards NSW bush lands once again where we visited the Dunedoo Bush Poetry Festival. We have solved many interesting mysteries in preparation of our tour which took us to many beautiful historical places.
We stayed in Bathurst overnight where we looked for a couple of caches also.
We weren't able to find a Clean Up
Australia geocaching event in the area which I think is quite a pity as we as nature loving geocachers should be an example to all the others people.
Thank you
