No luck with finding this one but later in the day while attending the Intervening Days VI event a hint was given on how this one may of been done. So will need to try again soon I think. Thanks for the hunt anyway.
Found on a big day of geocaching with my dog BJ. All was quiet at the church today and it was a quick easy grab. TN Left a ladybug. TFTC josiey

With the streak from August’s 31 days still continuing and our target of 60 days in sight, we had an airport run in the morning so this was a good opportunity to grab some caches away from home. Travelling via Melton, and this one was not too far off our route so we headed over, and it was still blowing a gale when we got out of the car.
Took a bit of care approaching this, with the main road being relatively busy. Fortunately it is possible to grab the cache discretely. Quick and easy find that had us back on our way soon enough.
Thanks for the cache josiey.

Nice and quiet round the church area, cache in good shape, took bird left smiley TFTC
Nice series and I am looking forward to getting back to Melton to see more of this series of churches. Don't think the Mormons are making some of the locals happy though, because we got some angry honks from passerbyers when we were standing driveway. Lol. TFTC

A quick detour on the way home from work meant for another smilie Much easier at 11pm than during the day... Easy find but there was nothing other than the log in there. Where did the 5c go???? Hmmmmm... Maybe someone knows the cache is there??? TFTC josiey
finally got to do this one.... been waiting patiently for it to be reactivated... was a bit worried about where it may be located as I went at night and everything was locked up.. but in the end was able to get the cache with very little difficulty
A big thankyou to the CO
(made sure no magnets fell out while extracting log)

In view of last 2 logs I am temporarily disabling until I can get to the cache and sort it out on Thursday.
Found It on the floor, with no log book. Put it back where we think it may have been hidden but needs to be refilled with log and stuck in its proper location
Lots of muggles walking and enjoying the sunshine today. Might have to come back on a rainy day!
Well even though I was doing this cache on a Sunday, and it is a church themed cache, the place was empty and the gates shut with noone about. I dunno, maybe it was the Latter Day and they take the Latter Day off, to be honest I don't care and for the record Mitt Romney was an idiot. Anyway back to the cache, not many spots to check so I groped around and found the minty goodness.
Found on a "Lazy Sunday" evening, on our way to do the weekly grocery shopping, we had been toying with the idea of completing this cache for sometime but this was the first time it actually wasn't very busy at all. A quick find of one of our infamously most hated containers. Cahce was in good condition, it doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. TFTC
Checked up on the cache yesterday. Cache is in situ minus lid. I put a new container and log in its place and had to eat all the lollies in the process. Did some office camouflage using liquid paper and a permanent marker.
DNF cache, but found the lid of a mint tin partially coloured over with a texta and with a bit of duct tape attached at hinge position in the grass. Is this part of the cache? If so, it needs maintenance/replacing. Edit: Pic attached.

Find 13 of 14 today after dropping my brother off in Ballarat - now to return home. I was happy when he asked the best way to get from Melbourne Airport to Ballarat "What, you need a lift?... nice day for a drive (and perhaps some sneaky geocaching...)". I'd been here once before but thought it was missing. After some reassurance from Cubsgrasshopper it was indeed there I found it more easily. TFTC
This was, cache # 14 of 24 finds for the day, in the company of Trailrunning, we had been chating and texting for some time now regarding caching but never met, so tonight we finally teamed up and went caching, we had a great night with lots of laughs along the way. Ok so I have been here before with Crazy! Nat Girl but forgot to log it, I now remember we came to Melton to by our two Indian Ring Neck parrots, Oh well I will claim the find this time, sure is a quick find the second time around. My thanks to josiey for the cache.
The usual TDC cache grab had been put on hold for a week, so I was looking at doing a solo run when I remembered I had a rain check promise with the legendary RebelActs to go on an evening caching run during the school holidays at some stage in the future. Well tonight was the night. We met at Glen Waverley and were soon moving west to Melton. It’s hard to find locations close to either of us where we haven’t already cleared out the area, so the Melton area was easily accessible and fruitful enough for us both. In all we visited about 33 locations with only two DNF’s, one DNA, and 1 very flat tyre. All in all it was a great night out. I finally got to meet RebelActs after corresponding and talking for such a long time and never actually caching together!
This was a quick drivebay and we suspect the third time Rebel had been here. The cache was soon signed and logged.

Had a look for this after a doctors appointment nearby. Had me stumped. Will watch this spot with interest to see if others can succeed where I failed. Nice building. Remember when it was built but never knew the background.
On a work day in Melton and I took 10 mins off for a cache hit.
This one fitted the bill nicely.
The cache quickly found and signed.
Not a bad building as churches go.

Found today - nice and quick.
I won't lie, I found this with some trepidation - was a little concerned about what I would get bitten by when reaching for it!
Always sad to see a church locking the public out - would have like to go in and have a look.
Many thanks for the cache.

28/07/12 10:31 AM Find #1141 Todays mission with my friend Square Pegs has us heading westbound with an itinerary of caches locked in and waiting to be found. The weather ahead is looking good, we're well prepared and the car is running really nice. We had a successful day with plenty of finds, lots of mud, a few friendly dogs, antartic temperatures and we discovered some new favourites.
SP made the find before I got out of the car...ah, well that must make it my turn next? Thanks josiey.

On a day trip caching with abl973, this was our last stop on the way out of Melton en route to Bacchus Marsh. The grounds of the church are immaculate! Thanks for the cache.

No problem parking on the verge of the road and trotting across for a quick find... that sucker holds on tight.
The hinge on the lid has broken... it might stay on without it, but you may wish to check it out.

Ah, mormonism... While I find most religions patently ridiculous, mormonism enjoys a special kind of madness. still, there will always be those that don't like to think for themselves. Tftc
Last one for the night as at 10:30 its starting to get late. a nice quick find and we were back out the drive way and off to the near by Hungry Jacks for a quick bite to eat before heading home for bed. Number 7 for the night. TFTC
A 2 hour night run over to the Melton area while staying in Melbourne for a couple of nights. Cached with local caching mate, Haveanez, from Albury, who was also staying in Melbourne for a few nights visiting relatives. One of 15 done for the night, yes a night caching run of course, made easy by a new string of caches which had come out in the area a few nights prior.
Got this one eventually, a few minutes and the sneaky hide was located. TFTC. Must have looked sus out the front with all the traffic and torches at the front gate.

Out on a night run with Blacklegend tonight in the Melton area and this was our second find for the night.
A very beautiful church!
A quick find, however Mrs H volunteered BL for the retrieval to avoid the 8 legged friendlies! TNLN SL

Today ended up being a pretty big caching day with 22 finds including 5 multis and The 3rd Leap event but also saw me ending up in the south west side of Bacchus Marsh at 4:00am. It's funny sometimes where you can find yourself when you follow a trail of caches you havent done. The highlight of the afternoon / evening was the event but I was very happy to finally complete the multis which have been on my radar for a long time.
After the event I travelled through Niddrie and onto Diggers Rest before ending up in Melton to grab the new caches in the area. I was able to stop the Pathy right next to GZ and quickly had the cache and was signing the log. I'd hate to try to find the cache on a Sunday morning.
Thanks for the hide.

This was an easy find today.
The gates were closed and no one was in site.
It was virtually a drive by.
Nice hide.

Found quickly through more luck than skill. These guys look after the grounds pretty well. Tftc.
Ok so the time we decided to do this cache on a Sunday... not so good! There were a number of people leaving when we arrived so we left also to do some more caches before coming back. When we arrived all was closed up and safe to look for cache. Had it in hand as soon as we got to gz. The log sheet is well and truly full. Thanks for the hide.
Another find on the way home after buying rolls for a hungry wife wondering where her bloke had gone off to as it was getting later and later where breakfast was concern. Thanks josiey

Found today after Intervening Days IV on a caching run with Rabbitto and The 2 Wanderers. This area has sure grown too. I used to visit St Catherines and the College for work and there were no houses anywhere near them! SL TFTC
Found in the company of coley_babee prior to attending the Intervening Days event today.
When we arrive, a little old lady was at the end of the church block to the west, walking towards the town. We sat tight in the car as to not jeopardise the hide, until she walked slowly past.
Cache was found in the first place I looked.
Thanks again josiey.

I think we may have looked a bit strange parking in front of the gates of this church, but we had a mission... to find a cache.
Another nice easy find, made it quick for us to get back to the car.

Found after the nearby event. As I walked up to GZ there were few places to check and the cache was in the first place that I looked. An interesting 21st century bulding although that steeple does look out of place.

A small convoy set off from Intervening Days and soon arrived at the Church. The cache was quickly in hand and we signed the log together with Robmc & Squalid.

We found this cache at 3:30pm as the 8th of 24 on our Intervening Days IV - Melton Cache Day in company of Kinkell1 and The 2 Wanderers. A little bit of wondering how and where to park, then the cache was soon retreived from it's hidey hole. Thanks from D & HA B-A.

A few less cachers at this hide, but still enough to make it a quick find.
We were trying to figure out what LDS stood for, didn't guess this!
The church looks a bit weird with the lack of front door although it has a gate and path to the archway in the front wall.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found the odd spider or two whilst looking for this cache. Thanks for the history of the Church josiey. TFTC
While looking for the cache someone from the church turned up and asked us what we where doing there. Mind you it is well after midnight and dark. Had balls he had a few screws loose approaching two strange guys in the dark.
