My only DNF amongst 12 finds today - Glenmore Park & Mulgoa.
After putting the WP1 item for "Bright Spark" back into its hiding place, I contacted the CO for help and while I waited, I headed on to this cache. Recent DNF logs suggested this might be gone, but I thought I'd give it a crack. At least GZ was a cool respite from the morning's heat!
I searched in places both above and below the high water mark, but found nothing. Booo snr got back to me about "Bright Spark" and I quizzed them about this one. He suspects it has gone, so Booo jnr will check soon. Meanwhile I got back onto "Bright Spark", now that I had GZ coordinates. Cool! Walking distance! Off I headed....

After attending an event at Warragamba dam where we met a few cachers new to us and others we already knew we thought we would try for a few caches on the way home. After a BBQ lunch and getting some tips on some of the more elusive caches, off we went. No find here, talked to the CO to confirm we were looking in the right place, we were but no cache, it may have gone.
We didn't look for this one as long as we could have as the light was fading. Judging from the surrounding carnage though, I wonder if it survived the recent rain and floods. Nice area all the same
Nice little trek into the scrub. Oregon went crazy when I got into the trees, found nice and easy. Log was completely soaked. I have replaced log and placed in a new zip lock bag. TFTC
I've had this one on the GPS for ages, finally got to it on the way home from Penrith.
Cache container is damp & the log book also, was able to sign with a pencil though.
The footwear I had on was not really appropriate, thongs, for scrub walking.
Strange thing was that the soccer field was set up with nets but there was not a soul to be seen, ???
TFTC BB.

Being a weekday there was no issues with anyone using the oval. I made my entry point onto the oval and skirted the boundary until I had to enter the bush. As I approached GZ I could see the container so an easy find. The container was holding a little bit of water but the log book was dry enough to sign. After emptying out the container of water I replaced the log and re-hid with a little more natural camo. tftc
I made an afternoon to do Mulgoa Rd from the M4 to Wallacia and then 3 different ways from Wallacia.
It was almost the perfect day with 28 finds and one DNF.
An easy find in an obvious place once the device settled under the tree cover.

The geo-widow was having a girlie day in Penrith with her best friend today, so I came along for the ride and took the opportunity to do a caching run to Mulga and Warragamba. I overshot the mark here but was able to follow a geotrail back to GZ (obviously I'm not the first to go past the entry) where I made a quick find. Thanks for the cache Booo Booo, and for the smiley.
Quick find. Thought it would require a bush bash near water, but didnt. Cache all good.Tftc
Great day out for caching with ALL7 - enjoyed this area. Thanks for bringing us here ???
Not a soul insight on this Saturday afternoon. Cache was exposed so found it immediately, returned to how we expect it was intended, with natural camo. Tnsl tftc xo
Easy find but cache full of water! Log protected by plastic bag. Rescued rusted trackable
Found with my Mum (Boeing737) on our way back to Canberra, TFTC
Was glad we didn't need to go down near the water for this... stay up high!

Streak Day #544 - Next time ill open my eyes as i couldnt believe i was practically standing right next to it, as soon as i stood on the right side i saw it as it was uncovered so covered it back up with the natural camo next to it. Dropped TB. TFTC
#1210 (7 of 16 today)
Decided to mine an area I have not visited before to grab caches.
All up a successful day with fifteen found out of fifteen with two Did Not Attempts (one muggled out and one road worker-ed out).
A few were somewhat uncovered when I found them - I added extra camo in those instances.
A lot of the caches were Boo related, with a few really interesting hides. An enjoyable afternoon was had - will have to return for more in the near future.
* * * END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION * * *
As per my found log.
Arrived at the park and wandered in to find this hide.
Again I was just on song today and the first spot to grab my attention held the cache.
Completed signing duties and replaced.
Now for the multi...

A run into the unknown soon had us close to the GZ. The loud cache was soon found tftc
A nice cache that was hard to get to in the darkness. Once in the area this cache was soon snagged and signed. Awesome stuff!! TFTC
Cacheing in the rain with a really bad cold. Smart move. Quick find but the colour of the container dazzled me quite a bit. Tftc tnlb
After attending the Souvenir Caching event I hit the road to conquer some Mulgoa caches.
A quick find. Was a bit embarrassed to have driven to this one from Bright Spark.

Another one I missed on a previous hunt. Again I might have looked way to hard last time!

Found this cache when we weren't even looking for it! Doing some bush care at the site and it was just sitting out in the open. Covered it up again for you.
Seriously .... Must be my perfume! Another red belly... No more of these till winter.
found with rubymoon05.... signed as missgeo10 at the time.. have gotten a new account since then though
A wick find after a short stroll to GZ. It was nice and quiet here today and the water birds paying nearby were entertaining so I sat for a short while. SL TNLN TFTC
I've attempted this one before but my phone doesn't like trees very much so I couldn't get a decent search area. It's amazing how easy this was with an accurate gps. Area was deserted on a warm afternoon. Thanks again.
Found after Bright Spark. Took a drive round in a circle to see the easiest approach, but found we were nearly back where we started. TFTC Booo Booo.
my mate GeoJane and I are loving your hides, Booo Booo and team. This was our second for the day. TFTC
Headed down the thin black line again to the Western Suburbs of the Big Smoke ie Penrith, Mulgoa and Warragamba this morning to try my luck and find some caches and have some fun. Great cache. TFTC
I was struggling to find with my head stuck in my phone. Geodad looked in the more obvious spots and made the find. So good having another set of eyes
I conned the other T-Rexs into a morning of caching. I had an ambitious run of 20 planned but secretly knew that I probably wasn't going to see them all today. As I've said before T-Rexs really hate heat and it was going to get to just over 30 - a temp at which T-rexs turn into airconditioner loving couch potatoes. So off we set...
Stop 3.
*Slaps forehead* How did we miss that!?! I'm starting to wonder if the junior T-Rexs are a help or a hinderance. Anyway one more DNF rectified.
Swapped a ninja and a dino for an army man and some love.
All signed, TFTC!

Had been here a couple of times before with the most recent time having seen some workers here with chainsaws so we weren't able to go find it. This afternoon however there was no one around and I went off to find the cache that had eluded us. Walking to GZ I got there quickly and then made the find in a well hidden spot. SL. TFTC.
Another morning of caching with the Junior T-Rexs. They were not impressed that I had dragged them out today This was the third of eight today.
Started out by taking the LONG way in but got to GZ in no time. Once there we clambered up and down and round and round. We walked back out on the oval and then back into the bush and just could turn this one up.

We stopped to find this one after picking up a new mystery cache nearby. We took a more difficult route to GZ than we could have but it was a quick find once we got there.
Thanks again Booo Booo.

The oval was empty when we walked in from the road. Didn't notice any dog poo ... The cache was found in open air! We hide it close to where we found it - but suggest the CO to do a cache check.
Day 10 of "31 Days of Geocaching".
Only really one spot for a small here. Amongst the "greenery".

Stepped on some strange stuff when I exited the car. Was at GZ for a while before I narrowed it down. TFTC.
Cache well tucked away. Be careful where you walk. Lots of dog poo. The oval was not being used this late Sunday afternoon. Lots of bellbirds. TFTC.
#14 for a day of caching around Mulgoa while "G" participates in "Tough Mudder".
Followed the cachers trail as the batteries on the GPs started to die.

It was time to get out and clean up some caches within 30klms of home. Nice and quiet today with no sports being played. Found after a short search, TNLN thanks.
The ageing Bushfire is out to gain his challenge of finding a cache on every day of the year and needed one today but found five this morning and went after a FTF late today but was unsuccessful I think due to the distance and the peak hour traffic. Some you win and some you don't.
I tried to find this cache 12 months ago but was unsuccessful as were the next few cachers and then it was disabled and with a change of location was enabled again.
No problems today as it turned out to be an easy find which was good as I was running late for lunch.
At last I get a smiley on this guy. Thanks Booo Booo.

Took a while to find this one, with treecover sendimg gps off, a step out into the clearing for a decent gps fix, confirmed whitemushroom was nearly standing on it, a quick reach down and cache was in hand TFTC!
Finally got this one. GeoKids going everywhere. GPS going everywhere. Mossies & flies going everywhere. Found it, logged it & quickly got out of there. (Next time bring aeroguard with you). TFTC.
