Easy park and grab. A truck pulled in while we were there. I wonder what people think when they see me heading off into the scrub. I doubt they think oh look another geocacher. Traveling east to NSW. after holding in WA.
Taking a couple of months away in the caravan and attending WAGB as part of the tripTFTC SL TB's visited
2months on the road and starting our journey back home. Had to go for this one on our start along the longest straight road in Australia.TFTC
Find number 13687 at 2:29:08PM on Tuesday the 27 August 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leasurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back. After spending last night at On Top Of The Ridge free camp at Madura we headed west again in the morning, not sure how far we'll get today (but probably just past Balladonia), just driving, caching and golfing A nice quick find as we headed west down the road.**Thanks for placing this cache ajtmb**---*WOW, so much happening here in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
A lunch break here, wandered over for this cache which was an easy find and in good order.Timings worked well that heading towards Norseman when a new series of caches were published. We picked up a few the evening before then set up camp. This morning we continued on with a few more *FTF* s on our way into town, fueled, made the phone calls home and head off along the long road east. Plenty of opportunities to stop for caches and juggle the different ALs along the way. Stopped at Mundrabilla for fuel and dinner. Very quiet late at night and a bit of a chat with the local couple working there, amused at our footwear solutions antics. The blowhole along the way, and telegraph station at Eucla were great stops. Crossing into SA and camping on one of the many free camps on the cliff tops overnight. Thanks for your cache.
Good find early on our drive east from Balladonia. We are heading to Kangaroo Island for a holiday. Placed plastic bag with a new one but cache is in good order.
Stopped for lunch and the cache. Both were a welcome break from driving. Now for the Tough straight tracks going east. TFTC ajtmb.
Gradually making our way back home across the Nullarbor once again. It is quite a beautiful drive and the roads are in very good condition and the occasional cache is a great way to stop and stretch the legs.We pulled into a parking area and then just made a short walk to GZ where we found everything to be safe and dry. We have added our name to the log and now we continue East. Thanks ajtmbDomsky
Tftc. To stretch my legs I went for a 5k run along this stretch of straight road.
A lovely little stretch for the legs as we head east. Mini geofinder found it but wasnt a fan of all the flies around at the moment. TFTF
On our travels we found ourselves heading west and took the opportunity to grab some caches on the way, a nice quick find and a stretch of the legs, thanks for placing this cache
Heading west, thanks for making us stop and walk around. Left a teaspoon. STL TFTC
TFTF 4th find on our trip across the Nullabor. Stumped at Norseman this morning so great start at this one.
After spending a few days in Gawler it was time for to drive my mums (well my car now) from Gawler back to Perth. This was day three travelling from Border Village to Norseman on a 5 day 3,100km adventure. It was very bleak and cold morning and had rained a lot during the night. The temp did get somewhat better later in the day. There are hundreds of signs saying do not drive tired so geocaching helped with that.I proceeded to the border check and as i was prepared with completed paperwork the fine man was suitably impressed and and it took him about 2mins to check my car and a quick chat and i was on my into WA. The border man said that nobody ever turns up with paperwork which impressed him greatly.I trucked on across the beautiful scenery grabbing caches. This was the longest of the 5 days. This cache was a very quick find. Thanks for the cache atjmb
A good size container is always appreciated. Loving the variety of hiders too. Tftc
Found as we made our way westward along the Eyre Highway searching for caches that I'd passed by on previous trips. By the end of this drive I'll have found all the caches in proximity to the highway, with just a few outliers remaining for another time. Thanks for the cache ajtmb!
Driving along the Nullarbor, we stopped here to break the drive. Didn't take long and the cache was found. Thanks ajtmb
Quick find in rest area while heading east.
Thank you ajtmb for placing and maintaining Tough straight tracks for us and others to find and enjoy.

On a big road trip to Perth - Brim, Paruna, Murray Town, Kooma View Farmhouse, Penong, Nullarbor Roadhouse, Mundrabilla Roadhouse, Caiguna Roadhouse, Norseman, Kalgoorlie and Wave Rock. Today we were travelling from Caiguna to 10 Mile Rocks. After completing the longest straight road we stopped in here for a break to stretch our legs and of course to find the cache. Another quick easy find on our trip across the Nullarbor. TFTC to break our long journey. TNLN.
Driving a fellow geo cachers 4wd from dongara back to Brisbane after he passed away at work, thought I'd get some caches on the way back for him. TFTC
Yay near the end of the long road. Great to stop again to break up the drive. TFTC
Enjoying our wander across the Nullarbor and finding a few caches along the way!
Needs a new pencil or pencil sharpener! Our first time on Australia’s longest stretch of road.. woohoo
An exciting thing happened just after we found this cache... A curve in the road.
#2461 - Visiting the west coast all the way from the east coast, enjoying the wildflowers and everything else that comes our way, including geocaches.
Luckily I had saved a lot of caches going to the west. We didn't have time then, but we had some going east again.
An easy find.
